I had a look at this laptop this Saturday. Both the 14" and 15" version. It's a true beauty. You really need to go to a local store and check it out because it's truly stands out from the rest. The only thing that I can put my finger on is that I wish that the Webcam on it had a bit better angle, so it got a bit higher. As always a good informative video m8. Keep'm coming 👍

I have the 15.6 inch Asia version. If you have Huawei phone, you MUST get it! Huawei Share is too convenient, transferring files, photos never been this easy.
I bought this laptop right after buying the Y9 Prime 2019, I was very excited to be able to use the dual screen option. The big problem was that my smartphone did not come with NFC (one of the few from Huawei that comes without this, I must say) so it is not possible for me to use this option, very disappointed. Despite the above, I loved the laptop, very fast and comfortable. Definitely recommended (although please check that your smartphone has NFC people!)

Hey guys im using this device with AMD Ryzen 5 4500u Rx vega 10 gpu(apu). Im just impressed with this matebook with 7nm cpu. It can handle demanding stuffs as Photoshop,After effects,premier pro and so on. But to be noted that, you have to use a cooling pad while using such powerful software. But it does not make sence to me. Im really impressed.
What about usage for a singer? I have a huawei phone. But want a decent laptop on a budget where I can make a RUclips channel, so some vocal recordings and nothing to intense. But one I can connect a decent mic and audio interface too and get going
It depends of what you want, bigger screen at 15.5 inch but less memory ssd at 250GO or a smaller Screen at 14 inches bigger battery and memory at 512GO.. I'll go for a 14 inch.
Nope, its soldered on. M.2 SSD is upgrade-able i believe. Ryzen taking up approx 2gb of the ram for the IGpu is what has put me off it so far. Someone correct me if im wrong
Unless you have a chromebook you don't get preinstalled google apps. But you can always download them, and I used to have the huawei matebook d 2018 and I had no problem with downloading chrome, docs and all the google apps
14 version is way better it has a slightly better screen and a backlit keyboard unlike the 15. A better battery life and more storage for a similar price.
Great review! I was looking for something to help me pull the trigger on this. I was considering the Matebook 14 as well, but I really liked the price point of the D14, and I was wondering what I would have to give up. I do normal everyday use, but I sometimes use my laptop for photo editing and 1080p video editing. Coming from a Macbook Pro, I wouldn't really know what gaming is like on a laptop, so I'm glad your review covered all the areas of concern that I had. You've got yourself a new sub!

Hmmm. Sound like damage to me. My matebook runs very quite. Fan only kicking in while rendering or gaming. But hard for me to know for sure without hearing yours.
Picked up one of these yesterday, it's quite a neat machine for the price. The smaller D14 is worth getting over the D15 due to the former having a larger battery capacity and ssd.

It only works with EMUI 10 right? I use Huawei but I'm stuck with EMUI 9.

Btekt it really annoys me because the notebook is so good. Fan sometimes kicks randomly on while surfing and so on.
