Im still watching the first part of your trip till i get up to the wedding in Bali. Its making me think could Simon and I possibly do something like you and Sarah have done?🤔🤔 its exciting to think we could.....once the kids have grown up a bit more!! Id love to see more video's if you visit new places of interest. Thanks 😊 xx
😍 ahh you are still travelling with us 🙌❤️ and you definitely can do it, especially around Asia where is way more affordable 👍👍hope you are all well. Can’t believe Bali was over a year ago now 💫💫
Congrats to SJ on hitting the daily budget bang on!! 👏👏Truly impressive. 😮😮 Would you say booking accommodation mainly via Agoda is the way to go? I ask coz I seem to recall SJ often referred to it. Also, I don't remember you guys travelling via train. Any particular reason or wasn't convenient for your route? With hindsight, would you have done anything differently? Anyway, enough of my inane questions 😜 Really enjoyed your travels and will miss you guys. Maybe bump into you in Thailand in the near future 🤞🤞
Hey hey…sorry for the slow response. How are you? I was even impressed with myself too for getting the daily budget bang on!! I am the money and spreadsheet queen 👸🏽😂 I mainly used Agoda as it was the most affordable platform with suitable accommodations. I was checking Airbnb but never found anything suitable apart from when we were in El Nido Philippines. Agoda was easy to use and the more I used it, the more it gave me discounts and deals, plus it gained my trust. We didn’t use trains as it wasn’t available on our routes. We used the bullet train in Japan as it was more convenient and we wanted to experience it… but if I recall it wasn’t the cheapest way to get from Kyoto to Tokyo. We were actually looking to do the overnight trains across Vietnam but that trip got cut short due to our last minute change of plans as we headed to Thailand for my treatment. We did book a train, if you remember, in Vietnam but we changed our mind the night before as we found a flight that was the same price and only an hour journey, and not the 6 hours by train. Plus we couldn’t get seats next to each other on the train. The only thing I think we would have done differently would be to travel around Japan for longer. We only booked 10 days in total as we were always told it was expensive but we didn’t find that and it was not that bad at all and wished we stayed longer. We were able to stay on budget and as Japan is so organised and clean… the budget accommodations were to a really good standard. We did say the country we would definitely travel back to would be Japan - maybe a 3 month tours some day, just travelling around Japan. 🇯🇵 Thank you again for supporting us, travelling around with us and rocking out the mirror dance 🕺🏻 All the best and maybe bump into each other with a mango smoothie in hand 🙌 hope all is well 🙏
I was living life vicariously through your journey and loved your vlogs. What an amazing trip! I hope you guys continue but understand how ‘real life’ consumes us and time flies by….doing every day things. I hope you are both settled back into the UK and that Sarah’s treatment and recovery is still going amazingly. Is this what divorce feels like? 😂
😂😂😂 glad you enjoyed travelling with us 🙏. It’s been nice to be back in the uk but as the weather gets cold here we are dreaming of going back to warmer climates 😎
@@TravelDiaryWithSJandTim do you think the cold dry air in the UK doesn’t help? I live in Canberra, Australia and the air here (especially in winter) is cool/cold and dry, my skin hates it. Heading to Bali in 2 days and can’t wait to feel warm and swim every day. In the next 2-3 years we will live in Thailand and South East Asia and I cannot wait. Anymore travels planned? Missing your vlogs and you guys.
Hi, for the CAP treatment in Thailand, did you have to book it in advanced online or is it a case of showing up to the clinic and requesting a consultation/treatment. Also you could do a breakdown of the different costs for the CAP treatment. Thanks!
So beautiful my friend❤❤❤🙏🙏thank you very much 💕💕like 13
Thank you too 🙏
