Thank you Indian Moon! I love hearing that (or reading it :) I have a Facebook page called Upcycle with Decoupage, a few of my friends from the UK post their own works on the page often! Feel free to have a look or even post… Welcome aboard! Patti
OMG I love this DIY Hangers, I am looking for ideas to make some hangers for my daughter's cheer squad. Thank You so much for sharing this nice creative project and I will be making some hangers soon. Keep sharing :-)
Hi Cavies, I haven't tried it on plastic but I have a vinyl daily planner that I decoupaged and that's been holding very well. In the past when I've decoupaged on plastic I've used a spray paint made just for plastic first just to give it something to hold on to. Would you let me know if you try this without the plastic spray paint? I've only tried it with it. thanks, Patti
+cavies12345 As long as there is a surface to cover and you use a decoupage glue or Mod Podge it should work fine. If I am in doubt about a surface, I cover it first with plain tissue paper and allow to dry then I have worked on that. Just about any solid surface can be decoupaged :)
Me parecen encantadoras estas perchas.
Sera un precioso y original regalo para mi nieta.
I am very lucky to find your amazing tutorials. you explain every steps clearly.

Love your work. What is the name of the overcoat you are using?
Hi! I was wondering if u can use a scissors instead of wetting the paper to tear it out?
Hi Sharon,
yes you can. Napkins can be a bit tricky to cut since they are so delicate, which is why I recommended the wet brush method. ;)

Can it be made with a plastic coat hanger?

Where can I get these small hangers please?
Is decoupage glue the same as PVA glue?
