I have had some people inquire as to the "enzyme damage to the certain nutrients in the juice" (polyphenols). Pure juicer has PROVEN it has more enzymatic activity (in general)) cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0111/7369/1473/files/household-juice-extractor-comparison-and-optimization.pdf?v=1665598809
in the juice, which on some levels, may be a good thing, as enzymes break down nutrients and create anti-cancer compounds in brassica family plants. But also enzymes can BREAK down, and LOWER nutrients such as polyphenols. So there are reasons why you may want to have MORE OR LESS enzymatic activity in the juice. If you doubt the science that I am sharing, please refer to the article pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jf60205a058 that states, " The total phenolics ranged from 25 mg/100 ml in juices from well-oxidized pulps to 150 mg/100 ml in juices made with minimal enzymatic oxidation." In this case if total phenolics are important to you, it is important to have the LEAST oxidized pulp, as in this study it make a 6x difference. I have been juicing now for 28 years and do my best to share all the information I have learned in my videos so that YOU don't have to do all the research, experimentation and juice drinking that I have done over the years.

Super angel the best for greens/ wheatgrass. John you’ve only done one quick review of this amazing machine. I’m like you and have been juicing since 1984 when my first Norwalk juicer I had the jack Lane juicer I had the centrifugal juicers etc. I do have the Nama and now wating for new Kuvings10. I still see my angel juicer as the Cadillac of juicers however, it definitely is not for everyone because of the physical exertion that you need to use for something like carrots and beets and harder produce but it is amazing for greens so anyone that’s really into green juice / wheatgrass it’s a serious juicer and super easy to clean I think and 100% stainless it’s just quite a feat of engineering in my opinion, and it’s form, simplicity, and efficiency. I’ve always been tempted to buy the pure juicer but back in early 2000s or mid 2000s. I actually sold my Norwalk juice so that I had for over 20 years that was a workhorse as is I guess the pure would be but it was just too much work for me and I felt the thinness of the juice wasn’t my cuppa tea, but for years in the 80s and early 90s that was the juicer that I used most along with all different ones that came out alongside it. Thanks for this video

Seems to me that the pure is less green BECAUSE it has less pulp and little to no foam. Its an actual juicer as apposed to the nama which seems to be more of a smoothie consistency.
Also the reason, the nama produce more is becuase it has a higher pulp content
On one hand if I wanted a smoothie i would use a blender, on the other hand does having a more of a pure juice worth spending the amount of money the pure juicer cost

The yield might be a little more, and there will be more of the skin nutrients in the juice for sure. While the yield may still be more than the Nama J2, the weight of the juice will still be less, as the stainless screen allows for more fine particulate into the juice which is a combination of fiber and nutrients.

@@Mister_Wook Sounds like an awesome business model 😋. You might even have bins of produce that a customer buys from, or bags of produce with a pre-selection of go-togethers that you juice for them. In some states a food-prep machine must be NSF certified if you sell the final product. Just a thought

I would have liked to see the pulp of the nama pressed by the pure as well as the pulp from the strainer. The difference between the two is extremely obvious. The color of the juice does not mean less or more nutrients. In my opinion the pure is for patients and the nama is for everyday juicing that does not require the juice to be pulp free.

Looks like a vertical Juicer with wide feed chute made in China. I Would consider it a "knock off". Knock offs generally do not perform as well as the "name brand" In this case, Kuvings patented the world's first 3" wide feed chute juicer and continually improves them to this day. They are made in Korea, and are the best wide feed chute vertical juicers. I will not be reviewing that model.

I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO JOHN AND LEARNING FROM HIM FO4 YEARS NOW. HOWEVER I PURCHASED 2 high priced items from him and in less than a year both are BROKEN. The Nama has several operational issues and just today I can no longer use it cause the hopper lid catch hook that makes the machine work has broken off. As well as ever time I go to use the machine I have to reposition and reseat the auger spinning brush and strainer cause the machine won’t work. Or it might be the dial on the base that is not catching. The Dynabook blender does not shut off until I unplug it. I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANY MORE ITEMS JOHN.

Hi. I am sorry to hear about your experiences with the Nama Juicer and Dynapro blender. While I have had little issues with these machines and they are quite durable, sometimes manufacturing defects happen. In this case, please contact Namawell directly to get warranty service for Your Nama J2 if it is not working properly. You can call them at 1-833-253-6262. Identify yourself as a discountjuicers customer, and you are sure to get the service you need. Same with tribest. Give them a call at 888 254 7336 regarding the dynapro blender and they will get you taken care of as well. Both the Nama J2 and the Dynapro DPS-2250 vacuum blender have 15 year warranties, which is your guarantee you are investing in a solid product that will last many years. If for some reason either of these manufacturers do not take care of your legitimate warranty claims, please let me know, so I can intercede and ensure they take care of you, so you wont lose the benefits of vacuum blending and slow juicing that can better your health.

One thing that people often forgot about is that Nama J2 use both friction and pressure to juice the fruit. The fruit meet being grind (friction) as well as press (pressure).
Pure juicer main power is the powerful pressure. But even with a normal eye looking at the color of these two juices, you can tell Nama J2 get more nutrient and yeild than Pure juicer

I have known this youtuber for years. I appreciate his dedication to his channel but his thoughts on juice color or amount of particulate equating to more nutritious is bogus. The Pure cloths do not sequester nutrient loads. The nutrition is in the water of all plants. That is why your Creator gave you teeth. You bust the water cells and your digestive tract pulls out the water. Have you ever looked at poop? Fibrous material goes out after your bowels pull out the nutrients via the water. The Pure juicer obliterates the water holding plant tissues then presses the water out. And…listen….who wants to drink the pineapple juice that has ground up pineapple skin in it? Come on John. Give folks good science not infomercial rhetoric!
