  • PURE Juicer - How long does it take to juice carrots?
    We took 53 oz of carrots and made 33 oz of juice. How long did it take to make this juice from beginning to end, INCLUDING cleaning? We taped the whole thing so you could see for yourself.
    Carrot juice is one of our #1 juices we make. Carrots have been shown to support DNA repair (see Dr. William Li, Eat to Beat Your Diet, and studies highlighting carrots). And this juice is a staple for our Gerson community.
    We use a #8 or #10 grid tray in stage one. We ground the pulp directly into the cloths. 1.5 cups of mash is the perfect amount. We pressed it. We ground all the carrots, pressed them once, and then took the mash, folded it, and pressed it all together once more for more juice. Carrot yield is 72% of the weight of the carrot. And PURE gets 88% of the liquid in the carrot. Part of why we love our yield.

    My favorite part is when she throws the fiber on the counter. No drippage, no sign of juice leaking anywhere. It is an absolute chunk of carrot fiber.

    Hey, that was an awesome juicing session with the pure juicer. I swear I thought it took much longer to get that much juice, and the cleanup. Wow you prove us wrong. Thanks for showing us.

    Love the shortcuts I’ve learned from watching your videos. I have a Norwalk though. Maybe one day I will own a Pure but for now, I will keep this one.

      Too much work . As much as it cost I would think the machine would work more than myself ! 😂

      Batch juicing is a lot of work. This is high quantity/quality juice, but you have a point. Not having to clean a screen is a plus for this juicer.

    Not sure if this is the way to go for just half a pitcher of carrot juice. Lots of work and clean up, not to mention time.

    • @Purejuicer
      @Purejuicer  5 месяцев назад

      No juicer is easier and faster to clean up. Work is relative, we all still have to: prep, juice, and cleanup. To us it’s worth it for THE best juice possible.you are most welcome.

    Thinking of getting one. Like it better then my juice machine to many parts to clean and it gets stuck most of the time. Especially if it’s pineapple. 😫 and I spent at least two hours or more between cleaning and juicing. 😢

    Also what's the purpose of the screens? Every time I put screens in it just jams things up.

    • @Purejuicer
      @Purejuicer  Год назад +1

      The screens will look jammed but often, that is what they look like and part of the juicing process. That said, if you are juicing a lot of greens or fibrous ingredients like celery or ginger, we recommend pulling the grid tray out and scraping the plates. If you are making 1.5 cups of mash, it will be fine. If you make 3 cups of mash, clean in between 1.5 (when the cloth is full). We are here to help with any other questions you have. support@purejuicer.com and also through DM on Instagram.

    Would a magnet help to hold up the cloths?

      Great idea! We have talked about magnets but I don't think this would work.

    In reality it took 5min for the whole process of juicing but it was 5min bc she took forever cleaning in between 🤣🤣🤣

      Much less work than other juicers. It usually takes us two hours to go from start to clean up with a different brand of juicer.

    What cloth are you using? I used a cloth that things are not supposed to stick to and it breaks open. Disaster.

    • @Purejuicer
      @Purejuicer  Год назад +1

      If the cloths are a problem, try the bags. We have a whole series on wrapping that we hope will help as well. 1.5 cups is the max. Anything beyond that moves us into "disaster" range. Also, please ensure you are using cloths and not the lingers. The liners are the paper-towel looking things.

    • @PainterLady
      @PainterLady Год назад

      @@Purejuicer oh my goodness! Thank you That's exactly what I have done.... I used a non-stick liner not realizing thought it was actually supposed to be just a liner and not instead of a cloth. I never knew that.
