I have a Nama J2 and the customer support is UNREAL. I had a problem with a part in the juicing section. They replaced the whole thing, the auger strainer sweeping thingy, everything. No questions asked. They also replaced the lid because I said it came off too easily. I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service. I find it very easy to clean. And the juice is always excellent. I use it daily.
I been watching many reviews between these two. And all of them literally so bias toward one. This RUclipsr only one that present both side clearly without any bias. Decided to get Hurom400
@@SFV_Aurora it comes down on pulp tbh. if you don't mind little bit of pulp, then Hurom win everything. for me it was ease of putting it back in and off and washing.
@@basketballmaven1454 then you want H400. Easiest to clean cuz less pieces. Also all can be one piece. The two buckets J2 has (for juice and waste) are annoying and take spaces. Only thing J2 has over h400 is little to no pulp.
I’ve been researching this too, like crazy, and conclusion is the CLEANING is the most relevant (for me). Large hopper just means more/quarts of juice for storage which I don’t do (I drink immediately): pulp or some of it is very necessary for gut biome health (so greatest extraction is an efficiency metric, not better for health metric - just as finest milled flour is more insulin stimulating - not good): Had 3 different kinds of juicers, it always comes down to cleaning; and less parts taking up drying space - for me, and Hurom ticks that box well. H-70 is cheaper.
just got the H70 and love it. And even if you want smooth pulp free juice just get a pulp strainer. I actually use the nama pulp strainer from their website that actually fits perfectly into the H70 juice cup! Pulp free juice from the H70. Best juicer. You have the choice of having pulp or no pulp plus easy cleaning!
@@kristinaz7046 I do I really do!! I wish I could afford a bigger juicer like the X1 Mini only because I have a small clientele but the Nama J2 does its job. I even upgraded to a larger Hopper
This is a very informative comparison and a great video. The Hurom H400 is quicker to assemble and clean, but is it ultimately quicker to produce a very large quantity of juice? The Nama J2 has a 1000 ml hopper while the Hurom H400 has a 550 ml hopper. How long would it take each machine, taking into account assembly, extraction and cleaning, to produce 1 l of juice? Perhaps for larger quantities, the Nama J2 would be more interesting. Especially if you also have to include electricity, depreciation (depending on the number of years of the engine warranty for example). This is just a suggestion but maybe it would be interesting to also include the energy consumption and the price of each items compared.
Which one is the best for leafy greens? I just something easy to clean, fast asambly, the best extraction of nutrients, quiet, that doesn't take much space, and i don't care about the price. I think any of these two juicers feets my criteria.... Oh and good cutomer service too, they both have complains and definitely the H400 they say more pulp, a bigie for me.
What are the rpm on the blade and therefore cooler which will make better quality juice. I dont really care much for a little more time cleaning, and I'll be mainly juicing fruits. Which was the better juice? From what I just read, it seems the namaj2 has an rpm of 50, and the Huron is a rpm of 90. Does this make a big difference?
Not really. It’s more about motor efficiency. Going from 50 rpm to 90rpm doesn’t make much difference in heat. Also depends on which types of produce you use, how long you run the machines for and how much load you put on the machine. So many variables at play
i like the design of the Nama better, and its also $150 less than the Hurom, but thanks for the comparison. Also the Nama has an option for an even bigger hopper to buy separately.
Yes it makes a more pulpier juice but you can use a sieve if that bothers you. No juicer is perfect and all juicers will leave some pulp in your glass. Pulp has more fiber too which great for helping you feel more full, preventing cancer + many other benefits. If having less pulp is important to you, then the Nama makes sense
Appreciate it! Honestly just forgot about. For me, I don’t think I’ll stick with the same juicer for 15 years. I like to upgrade every 1-3 years…kinda like when you get a new iPhone or laptop. I get that most people like the peace of mind but after working in retail selling warranties, I found that most people never used them. It was mainly a way for retailers to make more money or sell more product.

How do they compare in terms of juice temperature?
Isn’t yield also dependent on the amount of pulp in the juice? Or did you strain the juice before measuring?
I want low pulp and I want to juice larger batches, seems nama is the better choice?

Not a bad idea!
So I goofed on the hopper for the H400.
It’s around 40 OZ max very similar to the nama. The juicing chamber is 500ml.

Yes you can make nut milks with both. Hurom doesn’t need a special attachment. Nama J2 does if you want to make sorbets and it costs extra

What about color en pulp in the juice?
Not sure what you mean?
Any plans to review the Hurom H70?
Yes coming up real soon
What about the SORBET feature on the nama? That was really why I want the nama anyway.
You have to buy a $45 add-on to make sorbets with the Nama. But with the H400 you don’t need any
The sorbet out of the Nama is amazing. You’re paying more for the Huron anyway, so you’re not really getting sorbet ‘for free.’
