This concert was the best experience of my life. Being in the front row, being so close to the people who I look up to the most, having will grab my hand. The whole thing was a dream and I am eternally grateful. Thank you jerry, mike, Sean, William, Mike Starr, and of course, Layne. For everything.
Awesome comment by the way dude. Watching them in Seattle must have been life affirming!
I missed the gigs in the UK this year. I kind of hoped they would be at Download Festival this year (which I was at) but it wasn't to be. I know I'll see them one day, just got to patient I guess!
I experienced that feeling when they came to NY. Amazing too see them
Hey Reece.....hang on to those memories, cause they'll be with you the rest of your life!!!! AIC!!!!
I feel you. It must have been AMAZING being so close to the band. So happy for you. I hope one day I'll experience that feeling as well.
You are one of the lucky ones😎
Best band of all time
Well said🤟🤟
I would’ve sold my eyeteeth to be at that show. Seeing Alice in chains play in their hometown would be a dream come true for me ..what a bucket list item
i saw soundgarden in seattle twice. pretty awesome!
I bet Layne was there watching
Tim Johnson I bet he was.. and Mike Starr
Buck Futtler bad ass
Oh yeah Mike was there macking on the chicks 😀
I think we all listen to alice for the same reason! It comforts our hearts
Amen brother!
lmfao this is not Alice in Chains, AIC died when layne died.
@@daytonfootball85 Sorry... but you are wrong! They are still here rocking and I'm happy with it
@@JonathaSilva777 No layne staley made Alice and chains
WE NEED THIS ON A DVD/BLUERAY!
Yass!
Absolutely
Yeah, that would be awesome
Love Alice In Chains! R.i.P. Layne & Mike
Saw them live first time ever this year...in a front row...was a dream come true.
Waiting for a Live album, Alice in Chains deserves a Blu Ray... C'mon guys!!!
#Brasil
Yeah - that would be awesome.
The light in my life....Alice in Chains ❤
I feel the same. When all is dark aic is light
one of the greatest bands of all time.
One of my favorite Seattle rock bands
I love Rainier Fog! This tour was my first two times seeing them. Superb performances! Can't get enough Cantrell!!
They sound better and fresher than ever.
@@jimmysinner5089 The one who's out of his mind is you. If you seriously can't tell which version of the band is audibly superior then that's your own damn fault.
Layne was great yeah, BUT HE WASN'T THE ONLY THING THAT MADE THEM GOOD, OVER HALF THE SONGS SUNG BY HIM ARE ONLY GOOD BECAUSE OF THE HARMONIES WITH HIM AND JERRY.
Now that that is out of the way, William Duvall is fucking amazing, and you're a fool to diss him. Regardless, Layne's vocals wouldn't fit this time period anyway, the 90s were a different time.
Anyway the point is, don't you fucking DARE claim AIC aren't as good if not better than ever because the truth is they really have never been better. The only clown ass motherfuckers are the ones who can't wake up, accept that Layne is dead, and open their fucking ears and pay attention to the newer AIC stuff. The past 3 albums are easily better than you would give them credit for, and Duvall is fucking GOAT.
I'm sick of seeing alleged AIC fans talking shit because they can't move on.
@@jimmysinner5089 Alice In Chains isn't just layne, Its Jerry, Mike, And Sean. And they decided to do this, they think their music sounds great, and i and other millions thinks it sounds great, your just a hypocrite.
Time to write a book Jerry
Sure is!
ABSO-FUCKIN'-LOOT-LY!!!!! ALL DAY LONG AIC... 👍💯
The greatest band of all time, even when they lost the best voice in rock and roll history, they still were able to kick ass. Jerry Cantrell is a beast
0:25 just Sean being Sean for a second there😂
I love that part!!!!
Was at this show and it was my 3rd time seeing them live. Wouldnt have traded that experience for anything!
When were the other two times you saw them live?
I remember when I saw them. I don't even smoke weed but I got contact high, tried to jump over a guard rail, fell down, and busted my knee open. 😂😂😂 Aic was awesome!
Saw them twice on this tour, they sounded incredible! Can’t wait for more!
I had to experience Alice in Chains at home. Drove in from the Canadian Prairies to see them. Watched the video again and felt the rush of the concert. Their museum they put up was a fantastic journey through their career and just to be in the presence of their artifacts displayed was an experience in itself. Keep on making the music! Thank you Alice In Chains!!!!!
Thank you for what you do Alice in Chains
It was wonderful seeing you in Athens, Greece! Its was a dream come true for all of us guys growing up listening to AIC and it was a blast for our kids aged 7, 10, 15 to witness a great live performance of one of the greatest bands of our times.. Thank you!!!
This was such a awesome concert
Back in the 80s we used to party a LOT and I had a LOT of hangovers. My brother used to put these two huge speakers beside my bed and put we die young on wide freekin open to wake me up. It felt like the end of the world was here. A couple of drinks and a smoke we started all over. God I miss the 80s. And AIC was a big part of it. I have had Layne Staley on my mind today all day. No idea why. So here I am, looking, listening. Peace.
Got to see you guys in Minnesota. Amazing concert, and one of the best nights of my life. Keep rocking, AIC.
Was so fun to be there
I’m your biggest fan!! So glad you guys are having a great time! 🤗
Simply perfect and emotional!! So lucky the fans that were there!!! Alice in Chains forever
We need more!!!
How do you take something old, turn it into something new and keep its essence exactly the same? Alice in chains has moved seamlessly through eras and lost nothing
They did lose Lanye. That was a big piece missing.
@@dawndelosmuertos4025 and mike starr
Bullshit. William is not Layne.
It has been 15 frickin' years and people are still comparing layne and william.
@@dawndelosmuertos4025 more like
Layne lose himself
Thankyou, I was fortunate to have seen AIC in Melbourne Australia earlier this year, by far the most moving concert i have been to.. had tears rolling down my face while singing along to the songs with the crowd... best experience... Thankyou
It was a pleasure to be there! Rock on guys.
What a great bookend video. Really captured the moment.
Drove down from Vancouver b.c to see the show and was blown away .
We had a great time thanks A.I.C 🤟🤟
I love these guys! They have stood the test of time 👊🏼
Saw them in Birmingham UK few years ago, sounded great with the 2 guitars!! They never missed a note the whole night, they really are great musicians
They sound great!!
I was in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil, in november 2018. Thank you so much for always coming back! Can't wait to see you guys again. Hope it's in next Rock in Rio! Love uuuuu

Sean at 0:26 was my reaction when I got the notification for this video
😅😅
Best part of this video.
Sean, what a riot 😂
Non c'è amore più grande di quello che provo per una super band come voi!!
Fantastic recap. I was at two shows in Europe and I am hoping for another record and/or new tour in the next years. AIC still sounds very fresh - so cool!
Congrats on 1 million subs!
Went to this concert it was out of this world
The AIC boys rock the house again!!! They sound like their vintage selves from the early years and yet... so current with this new music that Jerry wrote for the Rainier fog experience that all the fans would enjoy at the shows. The fine balance of bringing the old with the new melded perfectly here and I salute these fine rock legends for another job well done. 👍🎸♥️
I love your songs, guys.
An amazing band, great musicians I admire the arrangements and the musicality. Congratulations success guys 👏👏👏👍👍
I was there. 15th birthday party present to my son, I've been a fan since younger days. Great concert, congrats on wrapping up a great tour!! My little sis was friends with the band in the early days; Helena.
Everytime i hear that song, like all aic, songs, i just hurt inside because i never learned music, they, Jerry was a master, Tampa to Seattle, love he really

Great vídeo!
Great Band. Saw them in the UK during this tour. Top drawer ❤️
I’m from Korea and I was in there. Me and my husband visited Seattle for our honeymoon, and I’m a huge fan of AIC. It was best experience in my life!!!!! Thank you AIC&thanks for my hubby too😂
Dude there New album kicks ass. Long Live ALICE IN CHAINS AND RIP LS&MS
Man I wish they would tour again soon. I'm 60 years old and a lifelong metal fan. For some reason AIC never hit me in the gut over the years until the last six months or so and I can't enough. I don't know what changed inside me for the it to be different.
Likely quarantine and isolation from COVID.
Man i get it
@@carolineroggenbuck9381 lol no
AIC is a God sent!!
Thank you thank you thank you. Hope to see you again some day.
Love it
Great song rock on and live on
Love it ♡
They sound awesome, and I love William. ✌🏼💖🎶
Love u guys 🖤
I was at the concert in Saint Petersburg (Russia) this summer! It was outstanding!!!
Yes.
When I need to cry, or feel, I listen to A I C. Today is one of those days 😭. Find me sitting by myself, no excuses that I know... 💜😢💜
I had the luck to see them in Romania. After so many years, this band keeps breathing. It's without a doubt, one of the few best in rock history. Managing to best, from my opinion, the grunge. Some would (haha) say Nirvana was more successful, and they are right at that part. None of these achievements wouldn't have been possible without the voice of Layne. One of a kind. But i have to admit something. I didn't like Cantrell back then. For no reason whatsoever. This guy made this band last. Great respect for him and his good work for decades.
Alice In Chains, greetings from Cochabamba Bolivia!!!
Wow that's so cool...we can't wait! Detroit! 🦋🇺🇸🔥🖤
Damn, I'm really mad I missed you guys in Minnesota, in April.
Los amamos Alice In Chains!!

I don’t care how good this was, it will never ever be as good as Staley

I'm still kicking myself for not seeing you when you were in Kansas City. Never seen them live even though they're probably my favorite 90s band along with Primus. Come back to kc soon
Me and you both brother.
I like the old Alice In Chains
We seen them play in Auckland new Zealand fuckn brilliant show
Sean at 0:26 is fucking hilarious! Jerry is a man who is passionate at his art and not driven by ego. The talent and natural intellect he has cannot be taught, and in no form is superficial. I truly hope Jerry's heart realizes this and that the band's music has saved lives (mine included) and serves as therapy to millions.
I think they are finally there own band again with this new album and tour,it shows in ther performances this round bigtime
