Regarding the return filter. It is what you plug in after the filter that creates the pressure. The filter must be placed last in the chain before the oil tank.

Fuel is Ballast. Forward tanks will increase your front axle weight. The tanks you got are cool and look good but in reality suck but will help some with more fuel in the tanks. Grab the axle of the truck. You bought a DTU for a reason fork a Volvo on the springs below the rear bags or from the Ubolts. Zacklift has built in Ubolt adapters on the receiver. It’s a air ride tractor you’re towing you only would need to chain one side of the front axle up.
Hey Bruce how are you doing today my friend so I like watching your RUclips videos they are very educational videos and I like the way you explain things to your viewers and I like the content in the videos
THE FORKS ARE FRAME CROSSMEMBER AND AXLE HOOK UP IN THAT ORDER THEY RECOMMEND TO HOOK TO FRAME 1ST CROSSMEMBER 2ND AXLE LAST RESORT GOOD JOB GREAT VIDEOS
Oh 1 more thing go get you a pin pulling rod & keep it in your truck so when your throwing chains under A truck for any reason you can "Hook" the chain so you don't have to crawl under in the "Mud, Dirt, Grass or Snow"!!!!
Don't forget put a safety cable on your light bar just incase one of the Bungie cord comes undn just from experience when I worked for bells towing in ringgold ga
When towing if you will just lift the boom and keep as much tilt out of the lift it will transfer weight to the front of the truck where it seems light
Love 😍 to see too brothers working together I wanted to relocate down south & do a Automotive repair shop only import vehicles 🇩🇪 German and Japanese vehicles Bruce I fix them my youngest brother Mike sells them..!!
Bruce buy some actual axel chains. Also get a safety strap for your light bar trust when I say hooking them up like that you’ll 100 percent lose it on the road
Bruce - you really need to carry wasp spray, they have a thing for you chap 🥴 The U bolts for the header - would look far better the opposite way with the bolts and lock plates at the bottom. The deck plate - spacers would have been far better, cutting it like that is a bodge, there are do many ways you could have spaced that to overcome the frame plate. 🫣
Hey Bruce, would you have an 18 Eaton trans for sale? Go on you tube, and see how to better secure the front axle, no need to go to the rear of the truck
🤔 maybe put an emergency shutdown on the back of the truck for such cases as the hydraulic issue?? Never know when a fitting might give way or a hose or like in your case the filter.....(one VERY small crack in a seal can do one hella mess)😉👍
Hey Bruce it's good too see your brother Aaron back in the video again where has he been? I think that you should give that black Peterbilt truck a new name because the other two blue Peterbilt's have their own names such as The Tratter Taxi and Brutus.
Just a thought what if you got a couple of self retracting 1 orc2 inch wracher straps that you could use t tie the steering weal with by securing it to the bottom of the seat
Could not have been said better. Just when I thought Bruce was getting a little more savvy with basic engineering learned by his time with the right masters he has started bodging again. I’ve already seen enough, I’m off before I throw up a pavement pizza.
Imaging having that Scania doing the towing. The agility of it on a site like this one. Would drive circles around 'em both! About the return side... better check there ain't no blockage or some other stuff that allows for the pressure to get too high. As you said it: there shouldn't be so much pressure. It either generates way too much pressure or it hasn't got a good way out. (or honestly it really could have been just horrible luck with faulty seal, but for some reason I have difficulties believing that).
I think you should make a shirt that says making trucking.Great again, whip your toll ring as the pitcher as the backdrop of the shirt. And have the name that you named your truck.I'm not sure as well
I’ve had my class B for over a year now I’ve just started working on my class A license we have a Volvo auto car like that but it’s a day cab 8 speed and it cammed it came from out west and has no Jake brake it has an R style pattern so most of the time when I change gears I’ll wind up skipping 7th and go into 8th
Raghee Horner has really set the standard for others to follow, we love her here in Canada 🇨🇦 as she has been really helpful and changed lots of life's without requesting for pay back.
Need to carry spare tow hooks we used to have spares for just about every truck helps with recoverys and situations like that without messing the bumper up
Tying the steering wheel off with seat belts is NOT safe. 😮 You need ratchet straps to the seat frame. Watch Ron Pratt’s videos before you really screw up.
1 thing the long wheel base is actually useful for is suspended towing. Its the only thing its useful for. As the load weight is outside the wheel base.
@@rudolfzweep8 I know, however you will notice that European recovery trucks are still long wheelbase as during suspended towing the weight is outside the wheelbase. Pulling a trailer on a fithwheel the load is within the wheelbase, not so with a suspended tow.
Think he will figure out after first tow he should have bought the dtu like casey and he eouldnt be bending and putting all that weight on thaem wheel lift ends 😅
Good afternoon Bruce Wilson this is a Norm Kolenda from Marlette Michigan I hope that you’re having a great day looking forward to hearing from you on Wednesday while I am at McDonald Chevrolet in Marlette Michigan how far are you away from semi casual off of interstate 40 mile marker 311 and how far are you away from Tim gentry and sons trucking down in Sweetwater Tennessee Bruce Wilson by the way I like your wrecker truck and I like your heavy haul blue Peterbilt with the lowboy on it be neat to see that little boy with a lift on that lowboy trailer and you’ll be a really heavy hard truck driver like Tim gentry just a joke thumbs 👍up
I had the U-bolts for the headache rack on my old 352 pointing down with the nuts and plates on the bottom. It looked cleaner that way.
I thought it was supposed to be installed that way otherwise those brackets will hold water
He read the instructional picture book, upside down. lol!
glad to see your brother again on channel again!
Its nice to see Aaron back on the channel. Put a big herd road train bumper on the tow truck that should add a little weight.
Ratchet straps will be your best friend for holding steering wheels during rear hook up. Secures a lot better than the seat belt.
Use both! Always have a safety back up.
Regarding the return filter. It is what you plug in after the filter that creates the pressure. The filter must be placed last in the chain before the oil tank.
Good observation 👍

The truck looks sharp! I'm glad to see Aaron back on the channel.
We added a 1'' thick plate behind the front bumper on our toter unit. Just use existing holes
The amount of extra work bruce made for himself fitting that deck plate... why not just put a 1/8th spacer on the top of the frame?
Ratchet strap or a lash rope through the door frame to add to the seatbelt works really well.
This look good bro

Bruce Wilson could break an iron ball.
😂😂😂
I had a return blew the oring just like that. It was the gate valve had slowly closed itself and was almost closed.
Cat litter is really good to clean oil etc...cheaper
It's a brake chamber usually if it's bleeding thru the valves.
I think then you bolts are going to be a lot stronger than those aluminum brackets. I just see those aluminum brackets cracking and causing issues.
Tal y como me lo imaginé con sus mm cromados luce espectacular está hermoso
Ratchet straps on the steering wheel is best to keep it from moving
Wouldn’t the U bolts face down?
