Great presentation, I got one with my 1050x a few years ago and only opened yesterday. I thought the box left the arms off. I am so glad to see this and learn how to use it and attach it to the machine. Though it would be good for edge to edge quilting.
Always like watching your videos and learning new tips!! Great advice to those who have the extension table but don’t realize it’s value!! Thank you for another great video!
Shirley, I love your demo. I see the use of this sash hoop has very non-invasive while doing your borders I like magnets are pulling on the material to give it structure, but you aren’t having to hoop stitching like on a table runner or quilt seam. Thank you for the video.
Just ordered a machine I should have it in a few weeks, I think maybe you could Baste additional scrap fabric to the bottom of the towel, so that you can hoop that and then have the design where you want it.
Love this video ! I was looking into this hoop but had no idea how to use it. This was not a failure it was a learning experience. I don’t have my machine yet but is there a repositioning option on the machine? Maybe that can be used to move the design closer to the border. Keep up the good work !!! Now to watch the rest of your videos….
I'm enjoying your videos and thank you for sharing your experience. I also have the magnetic sash frame hoop and I've not had great results yet. I did find a video on here by Brad Martin called "New Magnetic Frame from BabyLock In-depth review and demonstration" that was somewhat helpful in understanding one way to use it, but it's definitely more complicated than I assumed it would be. Thanks again for sharing.
Thank you for viewing my channel. If you haven’t already, please subscribe, it would be very help and appreciated. I’m planning on another video using the sash frame doing a border on a table runner. Let me know your progress with this hoop as well. Thanks😊
Currently, I don’t use anything. However, there’s a dealer on Etsy that makes custom plastic covering for all types/ size sewing/ embroidery machines as well as thread coverings. I intend to have some made once I get my studio set up. Just do a search for plastics sewing machine coverings and you should be able to find her. Let me know if you can’t, then I’ll try to find the link. Thanks
@@Sew2WeBeginEmbroidery I guess I will need a link from you. I can’t seem to find one. They’re all for regular sewing machines or even sergers. I even tried looking for a pattern to sew my own. Thank you.
@@Sew2WeBeginEmbroidery Thank you for answering, mine looks like it does with with something like a towel in it but maybe the plastic corners prevent marking.
@@karenmanning3455 interesting. I’m able to actually stick my hand in underneath my hoop between the hoop and table so mine really aren’t touching. Have you noticed any scratches on your table??
@@Sew2WeBeginEmbroidery mine is only a small fraction of an inch above the table and if weight is on it it touches it, I put a piece of fabric under the edge so no scratches yet but the fabric moves and can get caught in the stitching so not such a good idea. The sewing store I bought it from has never used one so they don't know anything. My Pr1055x is just 1 yr. old and the table just came last week. The nylon or plastic on the bottom may prevent scratching, I will lift up the edge of my towel and watch it.

Nice video. What size is that magnetic hoop, I must have missed that. 😊
This sash hoop is an 8x12,
Thanks just received 10*10
Great 👍
I haven’t seeing anybody using this could you make a video about it
I have it on my list to do, hopefully, soon.
Does the hoop work on the Brother PR 1000e?
Check with the company, or Cathy Haug ( Mighty Hoop representative) on Facebook.I do believe it may work with all PR series, but I’m it sure.
Could i ask you about how much that hoop cost?
Hi, I bought this about 2 1/2 years ago. At that time I think my dealer sold it to me for at least $300, but I’m not 100% sure.
How do you keep your machine dust free? I have two dogs that shed and don’t know how to keep my machine dust and dog fur free.

You have to custom order what you actually need. Hopefully, this helps
I sew covers for my machines. Very easy beginner friendly
Does the hoop scratch the table since it rests on it?
No the hoop doesn’t actually touch the table, so neither object gets scratched.
