Knock down stitches? Is thata multi needle term?
No not necessarily. I'm sure there may be different terminology for the process (( I googled it and here are a few other names - nap-tack stitch, pile-down stitch or tack-down stitch) I hope this helps. However, the concept means there is a layer or two of stitches that stitches the shape of your design in order to flattened the fabric so you can stitch a design on top as shown in this video
Love your tutorials. The projects came out beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you
Great video showing different ways to make FSL designs. I love making FSL and I have a small tree in my craft room with FSL designs. Last year I made a lot of hang on my tree. The nice thing is that you get to make any color ornaments you want. My girls love creating color trees and every year they switch to a red tree, blue tree or green tree. Not me, I use whatever ornaments I have for my trees to get the tree decorated .🥰
Thanks. That's what I do now. I use to do color themes years ago in my house, but now I'm just lucky to get the tree up and decorated 😂😂
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Hi Shirley, I just started making a few FSL designs. I didn’t know I should have matched the bobbin thread😬. Do you just wind the bobbin with the same thread you’re using on top? If so, I didn’t know you could use the same thread both top and bottom.
You can buy 60 wt color threaded bobbins that usually match your top thread off of Amazon. ( that's what I used). You can get it either fil-tech magnetic or non magnetic ( which is less expensive). However, to answer your question, yes you can wind your own bobbins. Just make sure you are using the correct bobbin for your machine. Multi-needle machines are usually L bobbins. Whereas, single needle machines are size 15.
Hey Lady, I haven't seen you on my live in months !!! It's great hearing from you. I hope all is well.☺️
@@Sew2WeBeginEmbroidery I use the magna tech white bobbins but have never wound my own for my pr1055. I’m definitely going to try it.
@@Sew2WeBeginEmbroidery I know I’m sorry! I used to take my son to cello lessons on Tuesday and would sit in the car and watch while waiting for him. He’s off to college and my routine is so different. I need to get back to watching your lives! I really enjoy them. Hope all is well and have a very Merry Christmas ❤️
@ thank you, same to you. Keep in touch😊
Cute headband!
Thank you for this tutorial! Super helpful! ❤
I'm so glad I could help! 😊
I'm still working out of a flea market because I do custom orders. Not knowing anyone, I felt the flea market would put me in contact with people. Very slow going but picking up now.
Hi Shirley. Good info.I was listening while cooking.😊
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! ❤
You're so welcome. I hope this information is helpful to you. Are you considering starting an online store soon???
I’ve been away from my PR1055x doe awhile. You are my go to for help when I need refreshing! Thank you so much for your work! 💓this design is so beautiful!
You're welcome! I'm so glad I can help you get back in the groove!
Hello.
Hi, I'm glad you're here.
Great videos! Do you have any more information on how to send designs to the machine wirelessly? Is that only an option via the brother software (which seems expensive!)?
It's not necessarily the software. It's the machine's features and capabilities that matters. Check out your machine manual to see if that's a feature included with your machine. If so, Embrilliance software isn't a very expensive editing program that has that capability function included.
I like what you demo
Thank you
Thank You, for posting 😊
You're welcome 😊
Hi
Hello
Show how to turn the cover and put book into it please
I'll do another video on it and make sure to include that process. Thanks for the request.
Sorry I missed you all last week. All your bags and pouches are wonderful! Shirley, your second one reminded me of the jean skirts we used to wear. About a year ago a cousin's husband died and she asked me to make her a back pack from his work overalls. Took me a long time to get the nerve to cut into it. It came out good and I was so thankful. Get better Shirley!!
Very creative projects,
Thank you! 😊
Very nice! What about libks to these ladies' channels? Thanks!!
The ladies that are part of the sew along do not have their own channels. Currently, they have no interest in becoming content creators.
Great video!
Thanks for the visit
Great instructions!! Thank you Shirley.
Glad it was helpful!
Informative video.
Thank you
Thanks ms. Shirley I’m trying to learn embrilliance and this helped me understand the split design.
I'm glad it's helpful 😊
that came out beautiful. i want to learn how to embroider however those machines are pretty pricey. Do you have any recommendations for economical beginner machine. Thanks in advance - plus new subbie. love your channel.
Thank you for subscribing. If you're looking for a single needle embroidery machine any of the lower end Brother machines will be a good start. Depending on how much you want to spend I would recommend the Brother SE2000. If you're looking for a multi-needle machine Brother has the one needle Persona or the 6 needle which still isn't cheap ( depending on where you shop). There are several non- Brother machines that I've heard about that can be less expensive ( Bai is one), but I can't recommend any because I've never used them. My suggestion is to do your research and if possible join Facebook groups for the ones you're interested in and see how people like them. Always do product reviews. Once you narrow your choices down then call around to get the best price. These dealers often time sell at various prices and the more research you do the better price you may get. Good luck🙏🏾👍🏽☺️
Thank you sooo much!! I am new to my machine and was apprehensive on how to do this. Thanks for the video. When you physically change spools do you completely rethread or do you tie the new thread color to the spool that was already on the machine?
Thank you for watching my video. I hope you have subscribed and will continue watching all of them. Congratulation on your new machine. You will love it. I do not re-thread the machine when I change threads. Just tie them off and pull them through. However, always check to make sure that everything is still under the tensions and the thread flows through correctly with ease.
Hello everybody, thought I was only going to be able to watch replay, glad I caught you guys.

You're so welcome. Thanks for your support ☺️
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Do you have tutorials on using the hatch program?
Unfortunately, I don't. I own Hatch, but I currently use Embrilliance exclusively
Hi! I am a background watcher. I would like to learn about different types of fabric and batting types. I have been making some of those stuffies and I was confused on the fabric to use
I just did a video on the different types of fabric. If you have a specific question please put it in the chat. I will get back with you soon on info about fabric and batting. I think that's a good topic to explore. Thank you😊😊
