- After the infamous “Monstrous Monday” session, we all wondered when we might get another swell that big again here in Jersey. It’s rare to get a swell that big here and almost heard of to get two back to back in a season less than a month apart. Here is an unfiltered look of the day featuring a crew of the usual numbskulls both local and other East coast surfers.

No one else in the world could do much more to these waves than these yahoos did this day. Kudos, Boys!
Great video. Tone and no music is perfect. Takes you right to that feeling of those days when you are watching perfect waves go by but you spend hours getting smoked, taking sets on the head, and battling current. The reality of a maxing beach break. Props to these warriors.

@4:32 - you have to be able to survive that situation to play in the big leagues - me - never in that kind of shape. I don't know how people can hold their breath AFTER getting it knocked out of them...

Wow, well done, fellas. Obviously, a person can get dinged on a day like this. BITD on a February day on a good sized swell on LBI I got hit in the head with the fins of my board. I couldn't see because of all the blood sheeting down my face. Made an old lady sitting on a bench (probably my age now) scream. My buddy drove me to the hospital and they wanted to cut my wetsuit off. Nope, I pulled it off and had the fiberglass from the fin scrubbed out of my head and plenty of stitches. Had a date that night; thankfully, she blew me off 😀
After all that....I hope she was good at blowing!
