Awesome video. I just added these to my Amazon cart! Wish there was more people like you. Not only did you tell us about the lights. You showed us where we can buy them. And how to gel them. Hope you find a lot of success here on youtube.
@@MartinBergnerGuitar well actually, I ended buying a more expensive light set up because I wasn’t sure if these lights alone would’ve been sufficient. And I didn’t want to buy a lot of lights. Lol. What I bought worked well enough and got the job done. So I don’t know anything about these lights except for what’s in this video. So, sorrry I couldn’t help.
Crazy idea. would you suggest these for studio photography as well tyler or no? Cause im a photographer for bands and such and want to try and get some good lighting for shoots. would you reccommend me to do this instead of really expensive lighting?
The issue is you wouldn't have a lot of control of how the light spills. Lights/strobes that can take advantage of light modifiers are what you really want for that
The led rgb ring and led rgb tubes are excellent for ceiling tube bulbs which they are replacement and I can’t stand these fluorescent which the fluorescent had mercury in them. But you can set the rgb to soft white or warm white or cool white too.
You'd be surprised at how well the non frosted versions work in a 60ftx 200ft Barn. I used 10 fixtures hung from the joists. I'm currently editing and getting the content together for that video.
@@TylerCaseyProdYou'd think finding time to edit all my content would be easier with the way the world is right now. But the jobs that pay bills are getting piled up. Lol
yeah it does not come with the actual power cables you can purchase them separately. It does come with the end plug so you can wire them yourself though.

Definitely getting a set of these. And color guards as well. Currently filming green screen work and have a slight green cast on my arm, I will use these to combat that as I can’t dim the lights I have for lighting the green screen. ( and I’ll use the extras for my workshop) thanks for posting.
do you have the double led row version (sometimes referred as v shape). there are models out there with only one row of led chips. the double row versions has a higher light output and power draw. i´m curious which one youre showing in this video. thanks buddy!

Bro this was legit. Watched a few other videos on this and they were clickbait as hell. Preciate it!!
Thanks for the comment!
Mine just came today. Definitely are bright bright and ready to use them for my next music video.
Awesome glad to hear!
Thank you. I was scared of being generic ones that looked very cheap. Now I can assemble my own. Purple all the way
This was a goldmine of information. Much appreciated!
Thanks for watching!
And for free ! He is our savior
Been looking for this for a while, I had found everything but the idea that I could just swap colored tube guards over the lights. Smart
Thanks for watching!
Definitely about to do this. How did you mount or connect them to your C stand?
I just used gaff tape, large clamps can work too

Wow I just purchased a 6pack a year ago for the kitchen lol..I still have 4 left so now I found a usage for them hehe
lol perfect! love them in my garage
I put a led strip in a frosted single fluorescent housing and it works great. Compact, bright, and app control in a rugged housing.
Love it!
Hey man could you show me how you did this ?
Show us the way
the walkways idea is TUFFFFFFF
yes! So easy to do too
Can you make another video explaining the stands

How do i build a WDMX into these? Any Ideas?
Are there one's that can make 90° turns with the edges still being a tube?

Do you need a adaptor to light that up or you can direct it to the outlet?
straight to outline with their cable
Good job man
I have those the only issue I have is the flicker when you slomo and have hi shutter
I did a test with these o went up to 180 fps to issues
But you get what you pay for for that price your getting the best and this is a diameter find for that price
