The melos on that last sustained chord were top notch. We had a good band in highschool but there's no way our director would have been able to trust our whole horn section to hold that note at the end of a show
Very nice job Hebron HS! They always amaze and show their best. They move together as one. The sound is crisp and their projection gives you chills. I've been watching HHS perform for 9 years now. I have yet to see a performance that didn't leave me in awe! Their level of skill and attention to detail as a high school band is immaculate. Major applause to them as well as their directors. I can't wait to watch them next year! I love driving for them! ❤🎉🥰👍
I live in the area and go to killian middle school that school feeds into hebron and im part of band and a percussionist cant wait to be part of this great band
Congratulations Hebron. I've been a big fan of their massive, DCI ish sound that sets them apart from the rest. I'm glad to see that their visual package (including much work with the color guard) is catching up to their music. If they can keep up visually, they are practically the best high school marching band in the nation. Hands down.
Appreciate your comment! I’ve been the guard parent liaison for the last 4 years and we have been putting in the work for sure. My eldest was in guard and graduated ‘23 and I now have a sophomore in guard. It’s tough when the kids first start spinning as freshmen in HS so guard is very much behind in skill compared to the talented band but we are getting there with the leadership of Director Chris Josey and Asst. Dir. Sarah Henderliter. ❤ The guard has a great incoming freshman class this year and it shows!
Remember seeing them in person at the Duncanville Invitational and their performances blew me away in both prelims and finals. So happy for them! Well deserved champions 🥇
As a band nerd I appreciate this so much but I always wonder if the Friday night football crowd realizes the caliber and quality of entertainment they are getting each and every week with this band. These kids are incredible!!
The band parents and alumni sure do! A lot of people do leave after the half-time show, but it's definitely worth going to the game just to hear the band the whole evening. It brings back memories of my dinky-town pep band, playing the electric bass to make us sound bigger in our gym that could hold at most 400 people.
What does "hand to hand run" mean? What makes it different from any sort of other bass run? Somehow, years back, I played bass drum in the Cavaliers, won a DCI title and won a drum trophy without ever hearing that phrase.
@@discochicken When basses split rhythms. Like if they were both playing triplets and one was playing slightly later to make the rhythm sound like a sextuplet
Just imagine the feeling of winning state as a freshman in penstriped, and doing it again as a senior in this
it's dope
My daughter just did that

probably shouldn’t say where you live but that’s still very cool!
I'm not surprised Hebron won. They are the best band in the state of Texas
boa says otherwise
They placed second to flower mound
@@FuriousCapCutBOA is crap
@@brotatoechip.akaBC80Honestly most people prefer BOA judging to UIL judging.
@ Yeah because with BOA size is all that matters. GE. You can play like shit and march like shit and still win.
Congratulations Hebron! I really liked your show

They sound like Phantom Regiment! Very clean drill. 02:29

They burned a hole in that field!!
Marcus still has the best high school drum-line in the nation and has since ‘95 now.
Wow! Nimrod and Rocky Point Holiday!! What a repertoire 🤯
congrats Hebron on winning 1ST
The front drops remind me of dasani.
Someone turned the S-shaped prop into a dasani meme as well! lol
i didn’t know the cadets were legally allowed to come back
No z-pull?!?!
New idea for Hebron called the past is the present and they do a remake of the old shows all in one
Amazing. Congratulations to Hebron!!
Love from the Utah marching bands! Y'all do it different in Texas!
HEBRON ON TOP!
thanks zach:)
I love you Gallegos ❤ 😊
Always ~ over my dead body 😠

Cadets for comparison. Hebron sounds VERY comparable, no? ruclips.net/video/z9d1z4ID9ZY/видео.htmlsi=4eTW20-B_-QT_WO4
Holy crap yall its like watching DCI
Free Marcus 😭
6th was unnecessary, they deserved at least 4-2
How come UIL doesn’t have scores
They do go to UIL SMBC
W HEBRON
Anyone one know what pearland got ?
they got 8th I think
were the finals results livestreamed?
