As it turns out, Larry Mize did us a great favor with the hole out. No Greg Norman. Man is Jack glad he didn't get caught up in that Saudi Golf League.
Masters week is the greatest week of the year.
Only time where I legit watch Golf and very interested.
Rich is just good TV no matter what the topic. The Roy Hobbs of radio.
My deepest gratitude towards the game of golf at Augusta National as a usgtf professional golf teacher🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😅❤
My hypothetical menu:
•Crispy Pork belly sliders with guava demi glaze
• lobster stuffed green plantains
• Wagyu Picanha steaks or seafood paella
• lava cake brownie with french vanilla ice cream.
Guys that cant break 100 get hot dogs and lemonade on their menu......
Despite the common references to players who have won multiple times, like Jack Nicklaus for example, as “owning 6 green jackets” or “having 6 green jackets in his closet”, each winner has only 1 jacket, no matter how many times he has won the tournament.
Fact.
This is how I understand it as well.
If they change sizes they get a new jacket, Tiger might have 2 cause he was so thin in 97 compared the rest of his career. Some of these old guys who got fat have likely been issued a new jacket since their victory, Woosie and the Walrus look like it forsure.
@@forrestunderwood3174 And only the current Champion can take it off Club Grounds.
@@cameronvieira6648 correct. The jackets are left in their lockers until they return next year (or, your wife comes to pick it up after you pass)
they also find a member similar in size to the winner (assuming he’s a new winner) and use his jacket for the ceremony until they can fit him for his own.
Angel Cabrera 2009 winner not present @41 sec. So much talent in this room. Thanks for the memories Gentlemen.
He was in jail at that time
We are thankful to the following players for growing the game of golf = Arnold Palmer for creating the PGA Tour, Tiger Woods for doubling the interest and revenue in golf, and Phil Mickelson for quadrupling the revenue in Golf.
Fuzzy had questions about Tiger's menu choice 🤣
Herman Keiser was a golfer best known for winning the Masters Tournament in 1946, his only major title. What is significant is that he lived the later part of his life in Barberton, Ohio, hometown of Rich Eisen's good friend, Michigan Coach Bo Schembechler.
Sir Nick says the jackets stay at Augusta.
I love Craig Stadler for rocking the yellow shirt.
The Walrus had a career. I saw him a couple times, and was awed by his athletic ability and girth.
Check out Peter Jacobsen’s Stadler impression
I like Viktor the Riptor. Guy is fearless.
Not present: 1956 Masters champion Jack Burke Jr., age 100.
God, Ben Crenshaw looks like a mad scientist.
🤣 Yeah, he kind of does!
They should have put Boom Boom and Sergio standing together?
Oh no, Phil is about 6’3” when I saw him at Valspar. 3:41 as the late Ben Hogan required as he was the one to start this tradition.
Lots of LIV players in that dinner, ngl...
Kudos to me ! I recognized everyone in the photo despite the fact that some look much different now because of not aging well.
I had to guess about only one though. The guy sitting to Gary Player’s left. I guessed that he is Tommy Aaron. Correct me if I’m wrong please.
Yeah, I got everyone but Mark O'Meara over in the corner; I blanked on him 😂
@@AHappyBachelor Yeah. Easy to do. He doesn’t play much anymore and when he does he’s not among the leaders so he isn’t shown on TV. Also he has whited out so much to the point of being unrecognizable.
JD Stan, good call, you think Rich Eisen would know that info, once you win, you have your green jacket, you don't get 3 or 4 or more...geez Rich.
Mickelson is 6'3", and, even if you win multiple tourneys, you only get one jacket.
Phillip Mickelson. That's it.
STUD
4:17 No, Augusta only issues one green jacket to a winner, no matter how many wins. So, Tiger has only one, as does Nicklaus and all the others.
If any of those boys with Rich, get the call, how about you only work 2 days a week and we double your pay… and they say NO.
Ben Crenshaw looks like he has about 1 week to live.
Did John daily ever win the masters?
I shoot 78 kail golf course.when i was 8 year old.😅
Sergio late for the dinner after stopping to relieve himself in the bushes.
Heard Phil basically kept to himself all night which while not surprising is still kinda sad. The game just isn’t the same without his flamboyant presence.
I believe there is only 1 jacket given. That is, Tiger has only one jacket. Also, other than the year after the golfer has won, I believe the jackets do not leave ANGC - they stay at the club.
You keep your jacket at the club. It doesn't go home with you.
So the whole "winning the green jacket" being used to mean "winning the Master's tournament" is only true the first time you win and only if you were not already a member?
Except the current champion. He gets to take his with him for the year.
@@nldmaster - like Phil with his kids in the drive thru at Krispy Kreme.
@@baronvonnembles not true speith took it with him to texas to celebrate, im sure you can flaunt it if your the current champ
For people that talk about and live in the sports world, there is a lot of Masters ignorance in this group. Especially when it comes to green jackets and their rules/regulations.
Only Player brought his jacket home
Seve took his home, he said if they want it back they can come and get it
I think one of players sons tried to sell it
Weir wore it to a hockey game.
Is being a Master Champion - the most elite club in the world?
Where did Jack Nicholaus play his college golf?
Ohio State
Nick Faldo is massive - believe me.
Sad to no longer see Bob Goalby in these photos.
Can we move Garcia behind the certain permanently
You are not allowed to bring green jacket home
For the first year you can take it home - until there is a new winner - then back in storage.
Fatprick Reed probably stole a spoon
And then lied about it when challenged.
I bet he's the only player frisked - as they leave the dinner.
You get 1 jacket only.
Tiger standing there smiling like half of them didn’t want him in the league at one point.
Yeah - ViJay Singh hated Tiger. (racist)
Phil is the only one with balls.
Is that George Santos disguised as an Asian?
I'm rooting for any LIV golfer. The morally superior PGA guys cried about LIV then turn around and take all the money anyways. Oh yeah and then worship the moral compass Tiger Woods like he is Moses. Anybody ever ask women how they feel about Tiger??? Sounds pretty typical for these times.!!!
first
Congrats Al
@@fritzruffin8054 Thanks. I farted just now.
This show is anti-LIV...bye
Bye! 👋
Three champs standing there and they want to suppress them.
This show has ALWAYS been as "establishment and status quo as can be, so you HAVE to suspend your disbelief when watching. Rich seems to contractually have to mention that the very bread that he butters with THIS show comes from the NFL Network. The NFL is the ultimate millionaires vs. Billionaires league, and Rich will always, ALWAYS side with the leagues
I would love to see Brillo Head never win it.
This is pathetic.
Dustin Johnson shouldn't be there his win was bs during start of pandemic
