    I'm from Spain, from the very town of Jon's, and I can tell you that you can have this meal is Bilbao for about 250$ at most!
    Vegetables like asparragus, piquillo peppers and other veggies are really cheap in Spain, also the vine, fish and meat.

    John Rahm has Class...great menu,, Basque cuisine is awesome..
    The Rodaballo-(Turbot )is one of the most delicate fish tastes you can find.. all readily available in San Sebastien Spain in the Pinxto bars .. and restaurants ..you must go Mr SG..! Fantastic golf in the Basque Country as well !

    Your video is way more entertaining and informative than the bozos Oberholzer, Chamblee, Lynch, Faxon, and Begay on the golf channel. The PGA bias they just can't let go of for a major. Rahm pays the bill and there will still be PGA stuff shirt egos in the room that will cop an attitude to the LIV guys in the room.

  • @waffleninja1000

    My estimate was $100k. $600M from LIV - $100K is still $600M. I would tip 30 to 100% depending on how rich I was as a Masters champ. Great video.

    Have you ever dined at a private club ? There usually is no tipping of the waitstaff involved. They will not even accept an offer for fear of losing their jobs. Most clubs pay their staff very well for this reason.

    • @patton67
      @patton67 3 месяца назад

      At our three private clubs locally we don’t tip because the tip is automatically included. It is a separate line item on the bill.

    You are a fine man, tea you are!! Giving a generous tip to the staff shows a fine character because all this people do their best for a unforgiven moment. As you i also thought from the first time moment that you he hopefully gives a huge tip! But I think your prize for the Dinner is way to high! If i go to Michelin star restaurant i payment for a menu maybe 350 euro.... Let it be 500 Euro for this dinner including wine and drinks. In a testa you are also paying for the location - here the dinner is in the clubhouse... I think there price is abouts 25 thousand and with tip i would have given as the masters champion 50. But I'm from Europe and friends told me that the price for meal in USA is double to what we know... Cheers!

    Here is a really good question. What happens if an Amateur wins the Masters? Does he get the jacket, check, and name on a locker at Augusta? Or just that rinky dink trophy for "high amateur" and give the jacket to the top scoring pro? What an explosive situation THAT would be!!

    • @andershaukoos

    The way you'd have to look at this is that you are going to be able to get that meal every year for free after the one time you pay.
    I'd say you're about spot on. I would bet all in with tip its 50-75k. Wouldn't surprise me though if someone like Tiger tipped 100k.
    Also wouldn't surprise me if most of the guys there tossed a few hundred down for a tip on their end as well.

      Some people do this. You have to form an LLC for yourself (normally I see them called something like Jon Rahm LLC), and you write off anything related to your work. If you do it just a personal business expense writeoff, it's viewed as a lot more sketchy on taxes.
