I would have loved to see you in this Matt. But please do some research on Gaby Golfgirl - one of the best golf creators on RUclips. She has some great videos of her playing junior golf tournaments. Her completely unscripted positive self-talk is inspiring, especially for someone so young.

They really wouldn’t even need to put that much money into it. Just have your players start RUclips channels, get them to have a camera person live streaming each of the players like they already do, have the players cam live streamed to the RUclips channel, and use it as relatively free advertising. Imagine getting to watch Phil play a charity practice round and get to hear his thought process going through every shot

I can't stand watching that entitled little girl who her parents paid for her RUclips journey and use their money to influence her playing in big tournaments. She plays from the ladies tees and everybody slobber over her scores. It's very sad to watch.

Here we go again... the PGA Tour copying ideas originated by other golf entities to stave off their death nell. I will watch if it streams on RUclips, but I wish the snobbish PGA Tour would stay out of it.
NO, I will not subscribe to NBC's Peacock channel to watch it. In fact, maybe this is why Grant won't show up. He's king of the RUclips golf space, why should he submit to the rules and demands (no filming, etc.) enforced by network TV?

Ive been watching golf videos for like 12 years... and for them not to invite you is a crime. Their loss.. Id love to see you, Rick Shiels, and the "Me and My Golf" guys on the creator tour.
Maybe you can caddie for one of them on the Creator Tour? The creator tour would be extra special if it required players to get creators as the caddies as well.
Black Stone should work with Bob Does Sports directly. Show case a black stone product every other hole and the boys have to eat the prepared meal before they tee off. Would be epic.
This is a win for the PGA tour. They get to look like they’re helping creators but they’re really just stealing their content and getting the views from it. The PGA knows RUclips golfers are huge with the younger audience and this is the best way to prevent them from releasing their own content.

Wesley made it through q school. wesley made the KFT, the pga tour AND won there. George, with the same practice regimen only for longer didn't do any of those, wasn't even close to do it

I 100% agree with LIV should do this. The PGA refuses to let golfers or creators make a profit using their platform. LIV could instantly gain the youth viewers that follow these creators. You definitely should've been invited
As long as they post qualification criteria for all creators to try and qualify, otherwise someone will do that and it’ll be better.
The youtube creators should not be affiliated with the PGA. These creators got their subscribers from posting on youtube. This should be posted on youtube only.

I’ll be there live. Living in SC, only 2 1/2 hrs from East Lake, it’s the closest the Good Good boys have come to where I live and a chance for me to see them in person. Garrett and Brad are playing, but Bubbie will also be there caddying. Wasn’t able to make the Meet and greet in Buckhead due to surgery.. so I definitely don’t want to miss this. Seeing FP, Paige, and the other creators is a bonus.

PGAT is trying to get younger viewers and to become more "hip" with younger golfers. Everything and anything after that is just a bonus for them and their sponsors.
At the moment, I'm more excited about tomorrow and Friday's "alternative broadcast" for the FedEx St. Jude's first 2 rounds with the Bryan Bros " in the booth" commentating/ analyzing and Grant doing "on course" duties. I think THAT will be INTERESTING and FUN to watch a PGA event differently...listening to Wes and George comment/analyze the PGA field during tournament rounds will definitely be entertaining and no doubt have some comedy in it.

Bryson should be there. I mean he is a RUclips golfer and if they can have a guy that plays on the tour, why not have Bryson play?
Bryson hasn’t played on tour since June 2022 when he joined LIV. He only plays in the major tournaments which aren’t pga only events. The only one of the majors sponsored by the PGA is the PGA Championship which allows winners of the past 5 major championships to play, hence why Bryson can play in it.

What about Grant Horvat? How could he be left out? Unless he declined. Gabby Golf Girl is either 16 or 17 now. This is great that the PGA tour is doing this, but I think the field should be at least 36 players, 4 players on a shotgun start, 18 hole event.

the fact that the "PGA" wont let these creator's, VLog their tournament says everything. And why only 16? they could of made it 36 or 48?? have 24 guy's and 24 girls.. There are a few people they could of asked maybe they did, and those people turned it down idk.. i watch youtube golf videos for "golf porn" courses and conditions that i will probably never experience. i don't mind a little light selling but when they start heavily selling, pushing or "influencing" they're gone.

the Good Good events have been terrible in my opinion with too many players and most not getting any airtime, which is why I think they started off with a small field. Love the idea of this and hopefully it will be much more professionally done than the Good Good events. The players will get to post to their channels after the event, kind of like they did after the Myrtle Beach Classic qualifying. Hopefully they will schedule more of these throughout next year and triple the field with all the great creators, like yourself, and there won't be any scheduling conflicts.
I'd say anyone who is watching your podcast is definitely niche enough that they will wanna watch it!!

I believe what is likely going to happen is creators will be allowed to create content at Eastlake the week of - they just won't be able to create content from the actual 9 hole event. Which is fair, IMO.

I like your channel, that content you had with the robot showed some great info about grooves and clubs at different swing speeds. I personally would've like to see DOD King. He wouldn't win but the entertainment value would be classic. The guy you love to hate! I played East lake years ago in a US Open qualifier and would love to see him navigate that course DOD style! 😄 It's much Hillier than it looks on tv! As it is, without the DOD King, Borgy or DeChambeau, I probably won't bother watching it. I don't care to see a guy who hits it 100 yards past me shoot 81 (Micah) and Wesley will probably win shooting around par.
To me, it just seems like a "Thank You" to content creators who promote the PGA. Who in their right mind would pay to see content creators? They're not that important, and the competition won't be "riveting".

I’m mostly watching Danny Maude. I try to stick to one or two main guys. His game seems pretty dam great!
Then for me, Mark Crossfield, Rick Shiels, and Clay Ballard (Top Speed Golf).

If I was a creator, I actually wouldn’t want to do this. The Tour, not the creators, have full control of the content…the whole point of being a creator is having creative control.
