This song has helped me become a better person. It has helped me be a friend for people who needed one while going through their own hells.
It's fascinating how different a song can be depending on where you're at in you're life. I've always loved this song. Coming out of an almost 15 year relationship that ended very poorly. It hits different. I need to walk away, but still accept responsibility for the cracks I caused. It's the only way for everyone to move on

To be human though is to share all the most relevant and soulful stuff of life with each other wherever we may and will. These folks become of us and breaking up cracks us apart. It can be excruciating to go through for both sides. As we learn more about conflict we learn how to do this in a way that benefits all involved. It gets more difficult the bigger and more involved the conflict is. We are each still learning. My condolences for your pain and the lingering feelings and wounds. The best we may do is to help each person we encounter with what we have. At the moment all I have is philosophy and feelings that I can offer you. I hope it helps, at least a little.
