Guys, lets meet here in 20 years again.
You've got a deal, if I'm still here
I'm in too
Count me in
See you on Rust lads
Sounds good. :]
Never thought we would reach the year where dubstep is nostalgic.
For real.. :')
Profound.
Also, I was the 100th like _and_ the first replier has my name (never met anyone with the same name)! Fate brought us here. It was meant to be.

Was 12 when I first heard this. 23 now. Takes me back to playing Call of Duty online with my mates until early hours of the morning. Simpler times, but glad to have the memories!
i was 15, now almost 27, my memories are very similar to yours, playing cod all night till the sun come out :,)
Damn bruhh... you didn't have to do me like that
I'm 23 too bro, take me back to MW2, no worries
Its crazy how many shared experiences we have with complete strangers
i first heard it when i was 13 or so maybe a little older - abouts to turn 26 next week. I'm absolutely the same! Cod MW2 all night with my mates, couple hours sleep then back to school. Then sitting up the skate park on the weekends drinking shitty cheap frosty jacks/white lightening and smoking some of the most awful greenery known to man hahahhaa. Christ i do miss those days
Shoutout to everybody who was bumping this as a teenager and coming back as an adult and just reminiscing. Let the good times roll.
Don't mind me going for a trip down memory lane. This track and 'Sierra Leone' changed my life
Wow, that just reminded me of another song I heard around this time lol netsky memory lane

You find that when you are older, when you wanted to grow up so badly, you only ever wish you could go back to being a kid and doing it all again.
RIP MW2 and the simpler times.
I thought growing up would make shit easier... It didn't. It made things worse. That's why now I wish I could go back... Kinda ironic isn't it?
I just wanted respect as a human being. I miss those lonely nights but wouldn't trade them for the freedom I have now as an adult.
Tac too true! When I was a kid, was like, F this, I wanna be an adult and now I’m here, F that! Stress

Rip the golden age for us
I have goosebumps listening to this song, completely forgot about it until I heard it. We all have something in common, stating up all night long as teenagers listening to this along with UKF dubstep and playing video games with our best friends. So thankful for those times I had as a child, parents thought we were throwing our childhood away but we made memories that nobody else in the world would understand.
i spent 30 fucking minutes trying to find it, but when i did, i recognized it almost instantly, i first heard this song in 4th grade and ive loved it ever since then
Oh how lovely has changed... fond memories but saddening all at the same time
Smoking meth and other stuff
Couldn't agree more, reminds me of some dark times but some good ones too, wouldn't change any of it. Crazy what one song can make you feel
@deadboy666x I used a different form of meth to these song, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine. Aka ecstasy
You have no idea how long I've wanted to say something on here. About 11 years or more. But this song alone makes up such a huge Era of my life. Explains it all but only in my mind. So much adventure, so much chill. This was one of the songs I showed people that caught on. Not the other way around. I miss those good ole days. When everything felt brand new and the world felt unexplored.
honestly you couldn't have explained exactly how i feel better than that.. I felt like i was so much more in touch with myself and i really enjoyed every new experience. I've been pretty spirtial/meditative lately and i've just been really digging deep through a bunch of that shit. Hope you are well friend.

This song just has a special place in my heart. I am almost 27 years old now and i remember first time listening to this when i was around 14-15 years old when i first started out smoking weed. I snuck out at night with my best friend to smoke, and i would get home late at night, when my parents already were sleeping and i remember listening to songs like this one and just starring into my computer screen and enjoy the "feeling". I remind alot like my father. He was an alcoholic and had the same tendency to just drink in the kitchen and stare out in the room and listen to the music from his time and just sit back after work and enjoy the "feeling".
I've had a rough journey through out my high-school years and college years. It was proberbly because of the weed, and the nights i spented zoning out in space and time instead of doing my homework. I have tried studying to become a banker, but that didn't feel right so i switched to studying graphic design and i've also have had my own company where i did advertisement videos, and So-me content for restaurants and companies, but neither just felt right for me. The feeling was just off.
I dropped everything. I dropped out of college, and shut down my company to move to the capital city in my country. We were 4 best friends that moved from a small town, and we all 4 shared a 1-bedroom appartment, and i slept on the floor on a airmattress.
I've just started last year in the railroad industry, because i have some cousins that is self-employed in the rail industry otherwise it is really hard to get into in my country in the first place. 1 year later, turned out my cousin had been lying and cheating about my salary, insurance if i would get hurt etc.
At the same time i found out about my cousins actions i got offered a job by one of the biggest Railroad companies in Europe, that my cousin had me rented/hired under. It is a company you can only get a job from if people from the inside says "Go" for you and i got the job last week the 8/5-2024. Now i earn up to 90$ dollars an hour at 26 years old and i plan to invest all my money in sidehustle while i work.
I am so grateful for my new job because i got it because of my hardwork and that drew the attention from people that knows how to appreciate my worth unlike my own flesh and blood (Family). I may not be as smart with books like the ones i grew up with, but i am now earning more than the people that left me behind because i didn't follow the "wave" and get a high education like them.
This song feels like a song you NEED to go back to when a new chapter in your life starts or ends.
I hope anyone who reads this, to never give up in whatever you are pursuing. Never, ever, give, up. Life is something special that cannot be explained, but rather only be felt. I have been addicted to weed all my life. but I haven't smoked weed for over a month now. Right now i am smoking a good old cigarette while typing this. Just starring 10 years later into my computer screen and enjoying the "feeling".
God bless you all

Mt eden were the ones whom really pioneered the way for dubstep back in the days. Really putting it into the mainstream and on the charts. I remember those days like yesterday in my late teens early 20s, living in Boulder County in the mountains with my crazy edm friends. Going to raves in denver and underground clubs warehouse parties etc..37 yrs old now, goddamn time flies 😮 after all these yrs all my friends are deceased Tragically and young, (lived fast and died young) and im somehow the only one STILL HERE to carry all those memories on. Damn those were the times. Not a care in the world..

I read your comment along to the beat of the song. It matches up if you try hard enough.
WhozTriickz Exactly, we always played with friends. It just isn't as much fun alone. Always gangbanging them shit. Like baggin the dayum xbox to go play at a friends home. Now some ppl play with "friends". And i don't think they ever saw them in real life. Such as other fatfucks which doesn't have any real friends either to say it harsh... Which evolves sadly into hardcore noobtubing.

This song reminds me of one of my friends earlier this year, she was truly awesome and I felt heartbroken when she had to leave to Connecticut with her father because her mother had been caught sniffing cocaine. Anyway we continued to text and call for about a month and then she stopped calling . She had given me her fathers number because she said to call from that phone if she didn't pick up. So after a week I decided to call her father. When he picked up, I asked if my best friend jayla was ok. He replied saying, she said on a note "she had to go". I was confused so I asked what happened he replied that she killed herself. Later that week I turned on the news and which just so happened to be about the suicide of jayla Martinez. Every day I listen to this song and think about her.

The amount of nostalgia I get from music like this is indescribable. I remember sitting on COD: WaW/MW2 back in 2009 and still to this day those were some of the best days of my life. Trickshotters weren't even around then, it was all about having fun and the clips that where average still made it into your montage lol.
the golden age of COD
All that needs to happen so COD4 and WaW can be active again is a remastered version for the next gen consoles. 1000's would play a great game for the first time and many of us older players would be buying it too. If someone like Syndicate (who started with COD4, I'm pretty sure anyway) or Tejbz launched a campaign for COD to remake both games without changing the map designs, etc. The exact same game pretty much..
If only.. I miss being able to get a game of War on COD5 or a game of HC HQ on COD4 without any problems :(
It's a mirrors edge song, why would it make you think of .COD
Because it's all I, and many others back then used to listen to back then. This, "On The Run" by Anotsu (one of my favourite tracks for nostalgia) and a lot of others remind me off playing COD4/WaW and MW2 cause at that time I was always making glitch videos/tages

I absolutely miss this music. I tear up reminiscing off the legends who made dubstep from 2009-2012. those was the years. I hate to see it go.
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSS!
I couldn't agree morr.. :,( I kiss those days
Yup....new era of dubstep now and just techno (and sub-genres) in general now. Some isn't bad, by all means, but it's just not the same. It isn't what or how it used to be.
F
2020 bro
i remember listening to this song when cod 4 was still the thing, 22 now and i feel like life is so fucked
yep ):
same
fuckin same feeling here
+1 mates..
Get hyped you depressed nancys. You're living in a fairly interesting world, where life is only dull if you let it be. The world was fucked 7 years ago, 20 years ago, 100, 1000, etc you get it. It wouldn't matter when you lived, you would have shitty things to deal with. So enjoy the benefits of this modern society, deal with the problems you could actually solve, and not worry about the ones you cant. I'm 21, still loving life
Guys. Please let me know that y’all haven’t let this song die yet. Keep it going.
My baby boy likes it
Never
This song brings me back to times before my depression went so bad. What a good times, where the memories and dubstep songs like this live.
2009-2013 прекрасные были года
The years have passed and you've grown up now. Only memories remain, welcome back
i cant relate more :'(
What's the name of the singer of this song ?
People can hate on COD all they want. The reason why it's one of the most successful game franchises ever is because it has an indescribable social aspect to it. The feeling you get when you go online with your buddies listening to a song like this just puts you into a state of 100% content. COD has certainly lost it's touch since MW2, but the series is still doing well because people are still chasing that feeling of nostalgia they have for MW2. COD is shit now, but it had it right 8 years ago. If everyone went back to MW2, I swear it'd be the best grossing game of 2014.
Are u talking about the song, because if then the original song is from mirrors edge???
Wut.
"Indescribable social aspect"; in other words having obnoxious 12 year olds scream into the mic while claiming that they have had sexual intercourse with your mother. The only reason why the franchise has been so successful and popular is because of the simplistic, casual gameplay, and the so-called "community" is on par with league in terms of cancerousness. The game in itself, although overrated, is not too horrible, but the community kind of ruins any chance of me ever enjoying it.
It's successful because it's great at attracting children to a game with shit mechanics.
Or it's just an "indescribable" social obligation of the gaming world i.e The gaming equivalent to buying a new football jersey every year.
Hmmmm. It hits the right spots every single time, RIP,P, to all who passed over the years and to those fighting for life everyday. You are being prayed for💞
Everyone just remember you will look back 10 years later at these times you are living now with such nostalgia and joy. Life is the gift that keeps on giving, until it doesn’t. Enjoy it whilst it lasts.
"Oh 2009? That's pretty recent!" *looks at date* "...well fuck"
time goes by so fast
live every day like its your last because it could be!
wow how inspiring
Who is still banging this in COVID 2020?
Brooklyn NYC right chere.🙌
Kung Flu times are rough
I feel the joy of starting a morning with old music and the bitterness of seeing that this music was released 14 years ago. I forgot to listen to such music and lost my senses. As time flies, i saw what they left behind. Everything was beautiful in its time.
14 years later here in late January
"Yeah the 80's was cool"
We are the new "80's"
Still a masterpiece
I personally thank this song for being in my life so long. Everytime I listen to this song I just remember all the great times I have had and all the sad times. God I miss being a teenager
I would never want to be a teen in this era! Lol. I actually enjoy the knowledge and insight i have mow at 31. We can't go back just grow❤
I wish I had this song when I was a teenager... My best friend just introduced me too it and idk how I lived without it for this long.

Still here since 2009 😎
I've been a fan of dubstep since i first started listening to it my freshman year of high school (2009) and here i am, 29yo and reminiscing to these amazing songs.
Music these days just isn't the same, it's not as meaningful or intimate.
Cheers to the memories everyone, you all have amazing taste and tho we don't know eachother you got a friend in me 🍻
for some reason this song reminds me of a much happier and peaceful time when i first heard it. Perhaps it was just as hectic back then but the mind remembers the good more than the bad
I loved MW2 but CoD4 is special, i played that game from the beta up until it died, lately i have felt like gaming was a waste of my time but those were some of the best times of my life.
plenty of people still play cod4 on pc
xav1uz where? I tried to find some games on steam CoD4 yesterday but didn't find any
Zarrex3 just checked myself and i didnt find anything
but no worries just pick a server from here : www.fragme.info/content/call-duty-4-cracked-private-server-list
Absolutely agree with ya there... Cod 4 is just..... Man brings tears to my eyes
xav1uz
True, you can find active promod servers on PC but it's nowhere near as active as a few years ago.
This is extremely nostalgic for me, I remember listening to this song back in 2010 so much while playing COD mw2 for hours and sleepless nights and man, time flies by so fast that I still dont believe its already 2022.
14 years later and this tune still hits hard
This brings back so many memories, life is going WAY to fast.
I remember being a little shit when MW2 came out looking up "Modern Warfare 2 Sniping Montage" and one of the first montages had this song. I was like 13 at the time but damn, is this one of the best songs I have heard since then.
Every time I listen to this song it reminds me of MW2 and the memory's from that game.
xR3PUBL1C Feeks same
haha The first time I seen a MW2 gameplay it had Sierra Leone in the background. It was when someone leaked gameplay a week before the game came out.
not the only one lol
One of the best songs I heard when I was young was from a flash game with a huge following - Platform Racing 2. The song was Paradise on E by (or remixed by, I don't remember too clearly) API
It's available on Newgrounds if you wanna listen to it.
2022, this song gets stuck in my head randomly all the time. I miss those good old times, these tracks are so bittersweet now.
I’ve lost all my closest loved ones now including pets. Ultimately it’s music and weed getting me by.
I know I’m not alone in grief, I’m not alone listening to these tracks that are now old.
But now I’ll show them to my kids and pass the torch. ❤️
Just discovered this today and part of me wishes I was born 10 years ago.
Better late than never
omg dude welcome to my era
Oh to listen to this for the first time again!!!
9 Years and the song still speaks for itself... Still Alive
well said
YES!!!
It's been over a decade folks and somehow we're still alive.
This is the song that holds many memories, from the happiest ones to the saddest ones, this song is eternal. 11 years, time flies by.
This song is what got me into dubstep as a kid. Damn the memories
Halo 2 + Halo 3 + Halo Reach + MW2 + MW3 + Late night gaming = good childhood.
Same here
@@normaaliihminen722 facts! sorry for the late reply. Hope you're all doing well in life
6 years have gone by so fast! Can't believe it's been that long...
Cool a comment made yesterday on an old video
darek u jabroni. lol nah this song is a classic
The Dub Rebellion Growing up is an amazing thing. I love going back to old music and listening to old tunes that fill me with nostalgia and just reminiscing about memories that flashback to me from hearing the beat.
James Freeze yeah im doing it now, so amazing :)
The Dub Rebellion this time is running to fast...
The years pass so quickly. And sadly, it feels like it's speeding up.
True.
+solitajre222 remember the old years were dubstep become big
+solitajre222 it is speeding up, its the way of life, the way the mind works
+Espen Simonsen college goes by so fast its crazy...
Because the older you are, the more time you have experienced, making it seem faster and faster to you. Time literally speeds up as you get older.
This is seriously the most under rated dubstep ever made. No other music can compare to the chills of the melodies and the emotions that it brings. The vocals are always so perfect and the bass is not in the way of conveying the message of the song! Only a few have ever matched such perfection on RUclips that brings tears to your eye because it’s beautiful.
I remember listening to this song daily. During my first ever heartbreak, it really helped me. Still does for any other troubles I’m facing in life, or just simply to revisit old feelings and memories, with a beautiful nostalgic feeling. Never goes away, thank you MT Eden 🖤❤️
I'm playing it when this goes to shit, judging by the way the world is going. I love you stranger. Stay blessed.
