FIRST BOI! Taylor, Brotherman. You have been helping me build a RE company for the last year. I have a 5 million dollar listing that I finally have on my timeline. Thank you for all of your hard work in teaching us the basics as well as the ins and outs. Thank You so much. I usually will get buried in the comments but youll likely see this one so I just wanted to tell you personally. Thank you for what you do for absolutely free for us. Your diligent Student - Willy

I am a real estate broker and I have also created my own still photos and video for all my listings. Some of my listings are huge - a 9,000 acre ranch, for instance. It is my feeling that some brokers pay for videos like this one that are beautiful from a cinematic standpoint but they lack the one thing that really matters: they don’t convey INFORMATION. People viewing these videos aren’t looking to be entertained. They are looking for information about a property that they may have an interest in purchasing. These videos appeal to tons of people who have zero interest in making a purchase. It’s nice that they are entertained but gets the seller no closer to finding a qualified, suitable buyer. Just my 2 cents

Great insight! Thanks for sharing - Really cool to hear from a broker. Curious where do you post your videos mostly / what is your general strategy for marketing?

3:06 Query regarding the Tilt shift comment. How does this work? I am familiar with Tilt-shift Blur / Tilt-Shift lenses but the follow up comment regarding the verticals bought my thoughts to Lightroom Transform controls. Is there a way to do this with Tilt shift beyond drawing in bokeh type blur effects?

TBH i'm not totally sure how technical cameras like they use work but they are pretty sweet! From what I've seen I think it's relatively simple but has a learning curve to figure out what all they're actually capable of doing for you creatively. Mostly seems like people use them for product photography and niche stuff like that where you want things to be perfect & sharp.

@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo yeah me too regarding the technical cameras. It's something I'm going to look out for though. Photographic framing is certainly on display and I have a gig in the near future which could be improved by bringing some lessons in from this sort of material.
      Great video all round.

Def could never use this pace in my productions, but it looks cool.... I can already hear my clients saying how slow it is, lol! Nice vid!

Great comment! Yeah it definitely makes more sense for commercial/architecture/portfolio work that's going to be used for a long time vs for social media attention. Do your RE clients ask for you to do fast edits?
