- This is more calm music composed by Nobuo Uematsu.
I know it might not be to everybody's liking, I personaly like it and the melodie is beautiful. Видеоклипы
ff8 for life i swear. even when i become a grandpa ff8 will b in my heart
so much yes, I will make my grandchildren play this until they worship it too :P
Part of my childhood. My niece and nephew should play this when they're older
Fricken ay! Lol if there was any game I would like my young children to play, this game would definitely be it. You learn and feel something experiencing this game! FF8, I will always remember it. Oh man, I can feel the feels! Even now. Lol. Tbh, it makes me want to cry. :(
Part of my school days which was like 13 years ago, good times
same here :) love ff8 soundtrack
I had the gracious pleasure of meeting him, I can only say I am proud to have talked to such a gracious person, humble yet so so spritely. After agreeing to a couple of photos in which we both pulled stupid faces we had a good conversation, I can safely say Nobuo is one of the nicest people I have met.
He is truly a spriteful and joyous personality.
+jamie miller He speaks english?
Yes, he has the same grasp that any one from Japan does when they study, he uses translators for direct immediate purposes, usually to carry direct meaning as we have different methods of verbal construct and inflection, it carries a fluent approach and he can carry his meaning better using a translator. This aside, he can speak English.
By translator I mean during public interviews and the likes.
+jamie miller I also met him once at a Distant Worlds show in Chicago. He is so kind and humble. I will never forget his speech after the intermission, where he said through his translator, "Music is the one language that everyone shares. I became a video game composer to share the emotions of beautiful stories with my friends all around the world. Thank you all for coming tonight, and sharing these stories that mean so much to me." That man is all heart.
It has been well over a decade at this point and nothing has changed. Regardless of how the years grow between my current self and the child who was once enthralled by FFVIII, this particular melody, out of them all, will always bring about the most unusual of feelings. I am at a loss for any true description of such a mixture of sensations, for I am aware of no combination of words powerful enough to encompass them all. While I am unable to provide an accurate depiction, I know there are those out there who require no specific definition to comprehend such an emotion; those who must simply press play and listen to fully understand and share with me in this sentiment.
i so agree
You are a casanova, ha!
I agree, its just so beautiful..
Well said.
Balam garden.... A school that we all want to go to... To learn about fantasy and yet a world not so far from ours
Nobuo is just one of those gifted composers that transcends time and genre. Everything from his 8-bit NES works to his full orchestral compositions all are equally as brilliant. I only wish I could thank him in person for some of the best music I've ever heard on this planet.
Nobuo Uematsu. A real human that touched our hearts with his innocence. Forever grateful!
Hearing this orchestrated version has overwhelmed my senses with goosebumps. Final Fantasy VIII has a huge place in my heart
+Lord Rake Likewise
+Morning Star each morning before I went off to school, I always snuck in some playtime with ff8. And whenever I traversed balamb garden. I'd just leave Squall standing idle just to let the song play in repeat while I get ready for school
He is like the Albert Einstein of music.
i would so wish to hear Uematsu-san in triple A-Jrpg again...
@@first-law-fantasyabercromb7308did you play/hear the music of fantasian?
This man inspirited my way to see the world.
He inspired me to write poems and to think over the box. I became philosophical person just because of his music....
Arigato Nobuo Uematsu, forever!
Same here brother.
Nobuo Uematsu is one of the reasons the old Final Fantasy games are so popular and everyone that played them feels so attached to them. Thank you very much Nobuo Uematsu!
I would close my eyes and imagine myself in Balamb garden, hanging out with the gang when i listen to this. Precious memories
FFVIII captures my heart since I was 15 and now it still does
0:40 BIGGEST. SMILE. ON MY FACE. EVER.
Final Fantasy VIII is my favorite game of all times, I grew up watching my brotehr playing it on PS1 and I still play it on PC! Balamb Garden's theme always had a calming effect on me, I'm always loitering around Garden, just to keep listening to the soundtrack! xD
Giving FF VIII updated graphics would be utterly splendid. Tis my favourite.
make it like FFXV graphics. Also additional background story. It'll be rich
99999 damage to my heart strings
When I was a child I couldn't really appreciate this music. Only when I'm older could I sense the deepness of this..
Art! 💗💐
Nobuo's melodic constructions are just beautiful; there is something floating, almost whimsical about these open-air tunes like Balamb, and honestly I've not heard any music which sounds similar.
Last photo always gives me chills. Great way to end it.
I absolutely love this version of the track. So much better suited to a live orchestra than the original version would've been.
this song is timeless, feels like a kid again everytime I heard this song.
thank you God for creating Mr Nobuo, and thank you Mr.Nobuo for the wonderful memories!
Hearing this makes me crave for a FFVIII remake, i'd love to walk around the Garden and Balamb in the same Graphics as FFXIII and VS XIII, the same out of battle camera as XIII too, along with clear music like this and extra moments from last time, at least it could all be on 1 disc.
Beautiful music, cheers for the upload.
we have virtual reality. they should remake this in VR with high quality music orchestral. new fighting tactics but same storyline and same maps
You don't want a remake. Everyone thinks they want a remake but what they really want is to re-live the experience they had the first time. You can't - it's over, and a remake will just be another woeful reboot disappointment. Grab an emulator and just play the game again. A remake won't be as good as the original.
Oh god this song...So many memories. I can fall asleep to this song quite easily
Everytime I listen to this I cant help but get a tad bit emotional...it just reminds me so much of when i was a kid and how peaceful things were then and how God awful they are now :( this song just brings about a certain level of peace that only childhood can equal...i miss the Good Days
FF8 has the most memorable moments/story and beautiful ost.
Just stumbled on this right now. Takes me way WAY back. I'm listening music from my childhood. (Cries manly tears) :'))
Instant goosebumps!!
By far one of the most beautiful song from a video game ♥
this song is so underrated. Every Nobuo's songs are brilliant, even less popular.
Best song from the best game soundtrack. Probably my favorite JRPG too.
i wonder whats going on in his brain when he makes these. he must be chillin in another realm we dont know about
I love your avator. One of the best breath of fire character's!!
Waking up in a bad mood, Quistis, and that stupid SeeD exam.
Seifer
BALAMB GARDEN so classic
So many memories.
Love this orchestral arrangement, it brings back fond memories of the game and at the same time something of a novelty. It is so refreshing.
ooooh man..... so many memories! i still remember this pretty song!!! beautiful!
I cried listing to this. It just feeels me with so many emotions I haven't had since I was a child.
I listen to this every time when I go to university. ☺️
Uematsu is one of, if not the greatest composer of our time, and I strongly believe in 100 years from now people will be studying his music the same way we study the likes of Mozart, Beethoven etc. People claim it's an unfair comparison to make between Uematsu and the "classic" composers, but remember there was a time when those "classic" composers were contemporary. It's centuries after their death that we consider them to be "classic".
FF8 Remastered please.
I've been waiting years for a remake of FF8, I wish someday we could play again with actual graphics keeping the same gameplay :-)
german199denuevo you must be kidding...gameplay...weapon system...ugh so bad
Tbh I got a steam controller and link box just to play this in a higher quality compared to the ps1 version...and that's strange for me cause if I want to play a game it doesn't matter to me, I don't care up scaled emulation shit. But knew I had the Pc version on Final Fantasy VIII so thought id do it in style on my TV with the controller...and for £40 all in, I'm a dead happy bunny...
Havn't played this game for about 15 years and this time round with my adult mind I'm making the most of it and doing it properly as I was 9 when I got it and it came out, didn't know what i was doing...at 26 it make's a lil more sense...the junction system that is, ignored it as a lil boy haha
Because of that I love FF8, I love FF7 and FF9 too, but for me the FF8 game is just awesome.
a remastered and not a remake please.
so nostalgic.. i really miss this game.. that's why i bought it for my psp :D
Nobuo Uematsu and the Final Fantasy music is half the reason why I play the games, I miss the old Final Fantasy days, fond memories..
This song always makes me QQ because it makes me reminisce of my younger teen years. Good times...
15 people did not passed the Balamb Garden's SeeD exam
until i comment on this vid, there's 3 more
19 people did not save Balamb Garden from the Missiles XD
Well, 1 more get trapped in the time void?
Sadly there is 21 people now at 2019
*snap*
Fantastic piece of music.
I consider FF8, alongside Lost Odyssey, to be Nobuo's best work to date
i can hear those claps of footsteps squall is making trying to get to the training center...
thanks for the memories nobuo
Credits to Shirou Hamaguchi for the wonderful orchestration of Balamb Garden. Uematsu rarely arrange his own track and has never arranged anything for an orchestra.
Finally someone said it! Hamaguchi-san deserves more credit for creating such beautiful arrangements of FF tracks and for bringing them to life. The rearrangements are just out of this world.
So beautiful, this is still my favorite piece compose by Nobuo Uematsu, this symphony of harmonies is so beautifully arrange and constructed.
thank you for the upload, they say good things never last,
well at least we have youtube to cherish it from time to time
I have always said over the decades FF8 was his peak.
This song hits that spot in my heart everytime ;w;
Nobuo Uematsu's a great man for creating music that years later will create such nostalgia.
As Sephiroth would say "His music will never be a memory".
Laguna, Ward, Kiros...
This song always soothes my soul = w=
He is not just an exceptional musician but also my hero. I sincerely think he shaped a piece of my childhood with his music. I played almost all Final Fantasys with ff8 being my favorite. Till this day i listen these songs and even Balamb Garden is my alarm clock. God bless you sir🙏
Just beautiful...
I love listening to this as I work, dem feelz plus its so relaxing I can really focus no matter what lands on my desk!
This man IS a genious. He could put just the perfect music with scenary, a character theme or an event in a game. Thanks for uploading..
Downloading this and listening to it on your iPod as you walk from class to class.
what a wonderful divine music !!!!
Love this song. Masterful development and motion. Killer subtle dissonance. Fun song, Good memories.
God is the right word.
There's no other word for this genious Man!
Incrível. Absolutamente incrível. Uma obra de arte além de louvável.
I honestly wish I could be as chilled, yet so amazing skilled as Nobuo Uematsu. Stunning music, yet he cuts such a humble and unimposing figure.
amasing just amasing ty Nabuo for making my childhood better so much better !!!
Honestly, I can't pick a favorite OST by Uematsu, nor can I pick a favorite song. Nobuo is simply genius. No composer in the past century as far as I know of is as brilliant as him. You can't describe his music perfectly, but to put it simply, his music touches every part of you. Nothing is left out.
Such a great game and a superb OST. Brings back memories ,:)
so many memories, please take me back , i beg of you.
So good!
amazing. just...amazing
yes taking a spin in balamb garden squall home when he wakes up so cool
Thanks for the upload
the best ever, makes me go back to my childhood dreams ! thank you Mr Nabuo Eumatsu
Uematsu-san very beautiful, straight from your heart to ours. Thank you very much for sharing a song from yours, with us.
I can still hear my footsteps running around in the garden !!
Love this Nobuo Uematsu! :)
This is beautiful
just Amazing!
Everytime I hear Balamb garden music play, I think of Headmaster Cid wanting to cuddle and give everyone a hug and a kiss.
now this brings many memories back
❤ first time hear this version.
I love it
Nobuo Uematsu looks simple but his compositions are elegant
I agree with you there. I think that some pieces from FFV are also good, with a few from FFIX, but as you've said, FFVIII and FVI along with Chrono Trigger have the best soundtracks
OMFG! SOOO PERFECT LIKE USUAL!
ALL HERE LOVE YOU NOBUO GREAT MASTER!
Balamb Garden is an example of how all schools should be like - bright and large, with plenty of places to relax, study etc, and lots of water and greenery.
This man is gold.
ah yes... brings back the good ol' times. FF8's songs really are a work of art. love their music, story, characters, and gameplay.
FF8 was one of favs in the entire series but I pretty much love them all haha
It brings a tear to my eye. Part from hardcore nostalgia, part from the sheer beauty of the track.
I saw Nobuo at FF concert in SG about 14 years ago.
It's -this- kind of music that reminds me how there is beauty left in this world, besides all the killing and bullshit. It's great to know that humans are capable of such beauty, as I tend to just go around despising humanity lately.
ugh..right in the feels
one of my favorites :)
and after years..
I still hear... squall.. steps..
in my memories...
Used to play these games obsessively as a teen, 30 now and I have kids of my own and the FF7-9 soundtracks by Mr Uematsu make great lullabies :)
This is still a very inspirational song. One of the best composition melody tune I think regardless if you're final fantasy fan or not.
he is still kicken. and i love this song as well
I miss so much Balamb Garden
My all time favorite game; Final Fantasy 8!!! Large part of my childhood!
Every time I walk down to my uni which is near a canal and a lot of open space. I listen to this song. gets me form A to B.
Wonderful...
