The fact you rescaped the two mountains so many times plus had to make it so the sand coming form the top ends up at the spot on the bottom where it will feed it back to the top. That’s crazy man. Epic
👍👍👍👍👍
This is amazing, this guy is an aquascaping genius
Ahh thanks!
that right . I have some video do too
Now that's a lot of dedication and patience, excellent stuff....
🥳🥳🥳
👍👍👍👍
Ahhh I just set up my new tank I got for Christmas. I wish I saw this video before I set it up. It's so beautiful!
It's always a good idea to put the sand into a bucket and rinse the sand out to get rid of the dust particles before it goes in
Love the retro wave plus the scapes 😳
looks noice I still love how the sand flows it looks so cool!
A cool idea. The faux rock is genius! I’m trying to think of what I want to do with my new Waterbox Clear 16.
Do a mini hair grass carpet and add some hydrocottle as an epiphyte and in the substratez the carpet will help sand stop coming into the soil
This is Incredible... I am a newbie to aquariums and this is art 🥰
Always fun to see you make these creative things! Keep it up!😊😉
I reckon this would look good with black quartz gravel too. Having the shimmering crystals fall down would look great
man this is beautiful, i can’t wait to see what else you do with it. probably my favorite one so far!
Wow nice!! My next tank is def a waterfall design lol
I love the fact using the biggest knife he has to open the box and id do the same thing
Looks awesome already, but will look soo good once the rest of the tank is planted. Have you ever produced a mudskipper tank with rising and falling tides? Would be great to see 👍
Love it!!! I definitely need some Monte Carlo great work
Really amazing hardscape work. Deffo think you should go with nano plants. Also what about adding the mist/fog on the surface give it even more of an enchanting look. But I'm definitely inspired
Duuuude I have mine sitting next to the tank about to go in. I can’t wait!
Freaking amazing. That must have taken days filled with multiple mini frustrations. But quite the creation!
yes, you are 10000000% correct. BUT ITS ALWAYS WORTH IT :)
This is really really cool man! So neat! Never seen anything like this!
👍👍👍👍. I have some video make by myself too friend
one of my favorite builds!!!
Watching this reminds of that one game called "Sugar, sugar"
The amount of work and time he attempt, I give up
What an absolutely awesome build Mike 👍 great tutorial!! I absolutely love the sand fountains❤️🌿🐟🌿🙏
Always wanted to know how this is done. Thanks!
This tank is incredible!
I've been cleaning my (construction) sand first with water, before putting it in my aquarium, so it won't make the water cloudy in the tank. Haven't made one of these beautiful sandfalls yet, but I'd imagine, that washing the sand before putting it in the tank, might help as well? Anyhow, gonna watch the update videos on this later on. can't wait to see how it all turns out in the end and what kind of thoughts you'll have. I mean, you might actually have remedied this cloudy water problem by now anyway xD haha
This is amazing dude, looks so so good! 😍
Really nice Mike, absolutely beautiful (even with fake rocks 😉). Keep up the good work like always!
This tank looks amazing
Brilliant, i loved the original, this one is great too, just plug the soil with loads more monte-carlo, it would make for a brilliant miniature scape, makes it look like a huuuuge landscape, keep it up, love your videos 👍👍👌🏻
ilove your doing with your tank..water sand fall..wow so amazing..love it🥰😍😘💖
Wow that great with design and construction friend
any experienced aquascaper would know the "cloudiness" is from the dust in the sand since you did not clean off the sand before putting it in the tank, the sand does not have a "coating" on it... also the exact same reason why it went cloudy when you added the aquasoil... PREP-WORK! = less work
Tank looks amazing, Happy & Safe 2021.
👏👏👏👏 One word......
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Looking very good my friend
The sand being recycled back through the hole reminds me of that quarter machine where a pile of quarters fill up the back part to push the coins forward and down.
A YT’er in vietnam did a diy vid of the sand fall using this same method. Would be cool to see this in a nano tank too.
You have my respect trying the sanding falls..I tried them few times... failed.. However, I will try it again😁👍
Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks, very interesting and beatuful!!!
Never expect to see a sandy fall
GREAT ART WORK!!
Чё за порошок
Amazing! I want to build a mountain looking scape minus the sand waterfalls lol 😂
Massive fan of the channel brother
Very beautiful aquascape! You always do an amazing job
This is very cool. Well done.
I clean the silica sand before take into tank..its make water not too cloudy
This looks amazing. One thing I'll say is that you could've just added a filter with a fine filter pad to remove the cloudiness from the fine sand particles.
The bags say to rinse the sand before use to remove lose particles and it looks like he didn't bother rinsing it before he put it in the tank. I'm sure if he just did that he wouldn't have issues with the water clouding up.
Wow amazing.
Hope you got some Seachem PhosGuard/PhosBond in the canister filters to avoid silicate diatom algae :)
Looks great
I like it. It was very unique.
This scape gave me an idea, what if you did a tank or a collection of tanks like the four seasons
Would be cool if the back ended in some kind of tunnel. In the netherlands we have got so called ecoducts. Something like that would be cool.
Wow...never seen something like this before, cool! Would washing the sand beforehand help against this cloudiness?
I see you're getting amazing flow. With mine I'm getting pressure blow back with little flow. Any advice?
First off; happy New Year brother! I can’t believe I’ve missed out on the past five months of Aquapros. I started uploading & you’d think I forgot where I came from all of a sudden. I got some serious binging to do later on this evening. This is an amazing build. Of course I remember your trials & tribulations with the sand waterfall; in fact, I got it in a playlist for my future plans of my plywood build. This is beyond next level though. I wonder if a double fall could be possible with the use of a singular power head. I may have asked this years ago in one of your older videos. Oh; this is going to be an entertaining evening tonight. Thanks for all you do brother. I not only enjoy, but miss your content. Untucking & retooling that bell so I can make sure I get some notifications going forward.
Happy New Year again brother!🙏🏾❤️✊🏾💪🏾
Thanks bruh, Happy New Year! Yur a real one!!!!! 🤠🤠🥳👍👍👍👍👍
@@AQUAPROS Finally catching up. Made it this far. Just one or two left & the binge is complete…😏
You could use sugar sand, it is naturally white with no coating. It is finer particles though, so I don't know how that would affect the flow of the sand.
This is so awesome. Just curious where you bought the artificial rocks and what are they called. Love your videos by the way
To remedy the how clowdy the water gets and to have it take less time for the water to go clear can't you just wash and rinse the sand in a separate bucket before adding it? The bags even say on them to rinse the sand first before using it to remove lose particles so I'm wondering why you just added it straight from the bag?
Looks dope. Great job
So long haven’t your great vlog !!!
Very cool setup!
Those are pretty dang cool 😁
Cool stuff.
I wonder if pool filter sand would be better, doubt people would use it in pools if it made them cloudy 🤔
Super rad, nice one.
Epic scape bro💯
Is it staying cloudy because the sand is too fine? Perhaps using larger sand particles like cichlid sand may help?
It gets so cloudy because he didn't rinse the sand before putting in thr tank like he's supposed to, it even says to do it on the bags.
Just got in my mind, what if you use coffee filter paper to get rid of the blurry water? Maybe they can capture the smallest particles that cause blurriness 🤷
Great bro
I think dwarf grass would be great to fill in
You need to wash ur sand before u put it in if u wanna avoid the cloudiness
a carpet would look great!
Turn the elbow on the sand-inlet 90 to 180 degrees. like a vacuum
Can I put fish like corys inside this kind of sand waterfall tank? Or would they mess up the whole system?
I'm trying to make this and water is coming out the top of the T pushing the sand out instead of pulling it in. I watched the other DIY video for it and made sure to put the 45 piece cut into it to make a venturi system, but it's still coming out the top of the T. Have you ran into this issue and do you know how to fix it?
I am having this problem also... I've tried several different T's and angles etc. and they all push water/air out of the T not allowing a lot of sand to get through...
@@brianmuench3853 From what I gather, there's too much back pressure and that's why water is coming out the T. On hinsdsight, I think if I moved the sand catch to just before the last bend, then that might fix the issue. But it's so much piping to hide, plus the T issue, that I ended up just using the bubbler/air powered version instead and that is working fine, minus all the pipes. Just have to make sure to put something at the output to direct the bubbles back so it doesn't ruin the look. Hope that helps.
@@anthonyjserianni2268 I bought a couple T's to try variants with... my first attempt is to put the 45 piece in well past the sand input in the T, hoping the water would rather keep moving forward than up and backwards out. I also think I haven't had enough sand on it. In some of these videos at the start you can see that same "swirling" at the top of the T, and I'm thinking deeper sand/deeper swirling. I tried the bubbler but I wasn't happy with the bubbles even coming out the back, so I'm kind of all in on this method. Thanks for the response though! Try, try again...
This is one of my favourite tanks ever! Absolutely love it. Have you considered washing the sand before adding to the tank to prevent the cloudyness?
I tried that the first time, did not have a noticable effect if i remember correctly :(
Nice
Amazing
Mike... YOU STILL GOT IT
Hahah thanks Chris! 👍🥳🤠🤠🤠
Very original!!
use Anubias nana pati for bushes!!
Hope I can do that later in the future
Amazing! But will the sand wear out the pumps?
Hey great video! ⛲ btw why are your tanks not covered? I'd be afraid of jumpers.
Always wanted real but... now I think the faux rocks are smart... don't gotta worry about it dropping and scratching the tank
I'm having issues trying to figure out how to connect the pipe to the pump with the different sizes and connections. I wanted to use 1" pipe, but had to do 1/2" inch to be able to fit it onto the connection at the pump. I'm going to see if I can get a connector tomorrow to connect 1/2" to 1" pipe.
Completely new to aquariums, let alone the awesome 'scaping element. Instead of silicone could you drill and link the artificial stones with stainless rods/ cotter pin type fixings? Does stainless steel affect the tanks? Thanks for the videos.
my water is cloudy after the waterfall works. how do you fix this?
Which type of rock are you using
White white sand did u use?
What kind of sand you used in this waterfall?
In regard to the sand. Is it worth having a seperate tank with a simple fall to condition the sand or does it need to take place in the tank that is going to be the waterfall tank? Info appreciated and thak you for the videos.
What do you use for taking the water out
Maybe some Dwarf Hair Grass in the front and following the path that way... it will look like an Alpine meadow between the mountains
Ya def gonna add a bunch of short plants throughout 🥳
Just "wow.. wow.." I can't count my mouth
