Dark Guardian is funny, but being vulnerable to Traps even after doing the full setup for protecting it is kind of silly. Both of the Fusions that protect cards cover for Imperm(and most searchable archetypal traps also target), but it's probably tricky to set up both this and one of those if you don't open a crazy hand.
I remember Magicans' Souls being a popular package for this stuff because of the ability to dump Kazejin with it and send off pieces placed on the Field(and sometimes the Field Spell if you opened extra copies), that was pretty neat.
I prefer Armageddon Knight as our Normal Summon. Prisma is only good for setting up one of our names and doesn't do anything else. Armageddon Knight sends Zephyros which bounces our field spell, giving us an extra name like Prisma would but also gives you 2 extra bodies to combo with.
Ngl getting kinda sick of this comment when I play casual decks while also getting called a meta sheep when I play tiered decks. Yugioh players are the worst, everyone just tries to bring each other down.
@@HexLexI get what you're saying, but this guy literally said he understood your reasoning. This comment wasn't criticizing, just pointing out smth kinda funny
Making a deck like this is a bit misleading because power level of Kashtira and Horus engines is enough to carry almost anything while Gate Guardian doesn't help or bring any additional synergy to the table. Anything else than Gate Guardian cards will be better with Kash and Horus, like Tearlament, PUNK, Orcust or even LV7/8 Danger! engine will be an improvement over Gate Guardian.
@Andrito3000 Yeah but I want to play Gate Guardian. What are you saying, never play cards you like because better cards exist? I'm sorry if you don't like that I optimized the deck for some reason, but it plays multiple Gate Guardian cards that it ends on. I don't see how this is misleading.
@@HexLex Misleading part is playing power houses like Horus and Kashtira and not including them in the name since they will equally or mostly contribute to any wins while waiting to hard draw GG cards. If you want to play and win with Gate Guardian cards, playing packages like A Hero lives/Prisma, Fusion Deployment and Magicians' soul that help you to directly turbo GG cards makes more sense. These turbo decks set up surprisingly fast and can grind for a while thanks to GG's floating effects.
@Andrito3000 dude it's a Gare guardian deck it's basically the same way I play it.... u don't have to play crappuly prisma and other bad cards for it to b gate guardian..... this is just such a bad take hex provides really good content and alot of it and is showing ppl u can play fun decks and compete with top decks if u don't like it keep it moving
As I discussed in multiple comments and the video itself, Prisma is suboptimal for Gate Guardian. All it does is become an extra name. Armageddon Knight is the much better NS because it sends Zephyros and bounces the field spell, giving you an extra name like Prisma except now you also have 2 extra bodies. Again, I explained this multiple times. If you'd rather build the deck a less optimized way that's fine, but that's no reason to try and insult my build.

i made a cardboard maze too! i loved the idea of those rulesets i wish they supported it at all back then lmao
Gate guardian combined should be able to help deal with imperm on dark guardian
You can fit PEP if you add the plaguespreadr tuner level 2 and Cross sheep but ash does end it give a try when you can
Cross Sheep is in here but I forgot it. I think I may make a follow-up combo guide video to really show what this deck can do.
Please do@@HexLex
@@HexLexthat would be great
Prisma is good i think is a Normal Summon you could search it, in your Build you dont need it i think
Kinda a normal summoned but a hero lives makes it a starter
@@itisnot7671 which Ratio you would play ?

I played against gate guardian with skill drain on his field with yubel easy win
