In my opinion these are the best duel, the ones that go back and forth for a good while instead of the ones that do like 20 combos and end the duel in 2-4 turns
YESSS this is one I've been waiting for! I run a toon deck as my main for ranked, been fighting with it a lot but I hit diamond 5 with it. Toons are super underrated and REALLY fun with the right setup. (though, I don't use toon world, I use toon kingdom...an obvious upgrade) Makes me happy to see this archetype get more love though!

For a dark magician deck there was a lack of dark magician or just dark magician cards in general besides maybe dark paladin and buster blader(?) Edit: Thanks for the explanations in the replies.
Wym? Too world is one of the most overtuned retrains ever. No ammount of support would make toons competitively viable w/ out totally changing the cards
I haven't played a Yu-Gi-Oh game in a fat minute since playing WCT 04 on a emulator a few years ago and Falsebound Kingdom/Dawn of Destiny even further way back. I'm tempted to download this just to see what I've missed over the years because no doubt the game got even more complicated.

Actually sam can end it with only black hole and flying elephant but I guess he just want to make the game more spice Black hole : destroy all monsters on the field Flying elephant: if this card inflict battle damage by direct attack you win the duel immediately, capich, wazzam, no more 52 turns stalling.
@@Kayze330 actually he just need to use the black hole first before puting the flying elephant. As you can see that sam already take out all the cards at the back for safety precaution so once he's done he can use black hole and then flying elephant and go for the direct hit.

I don't know if it would have won him the Dual but I feel like flipping over penguin Soldier sooner would have been a good play, it would have at least delay the destruction of his back row which he desperately needed in this duel
Thousand-Eyes Restrict prevents monsters from changing battle position. Since flipping a monster requires it to go to attack mode, he couldn't flip the Penguin Soldier while Thousand-Eyes was on the field
Sykuno could've won earlier if he had Penguin Soldier'd his Breaker to pop Toon World. Sam could've won after eliminating Sykuno's backrow by using Dark Hole into Flying Elephant. At this point, this is either scripted so that you two can get the outcome you want no matter how many times you misplay/set and pass, or both of you just simply refuse to read/understand your cards.

For like 30 turns sykunno could have summoned Dark Paladin with Buster Blader and King of the swamp and he never did it, that was so frustrating

It says "once per opponent's turn" so I don't think flying elephant can protect itself from your own dark hole
