The steal my decks guy is like a villian from the yugioh anime who's gimmick is that he plays all the cards the protagonist has ever played but like an evil fucked up version.

Im genuinely shocked at how good this series is. If it wasn't for progression playoff literally just being my weekly relaxation for covid id say it was his best series ever.
@@tuvillothe real issue with playoffs is that you require a lot of people with intrinsically different ideas for what they want to bring to the games, extremely good rapport, and enough commitment (and also the open space on their week) to do such long recording sessions without fail every week. If one, let a lot two, of those fail in a significant degree, the quality of the series decreases significantly.
It's gotten really good. Early on there were usually only one or two good decks per episode but now almost if not every deck is doing something really interesting.

I knew what was coming the moment the Earth Machine player added Outrigger because the EM player in my local had been making Arise-Heart the same way for MONTHS now (OCG player here)
In hindsight, this was a fantastic way for Season 1 of Dueltaining to end. We needed a few months to regroup after Steal My Deck Turbo and MBT's Past Turbo.
What a banger episode. The Deck Thief, Order of the Day & Ghost From Joseph’s Past were all absolute bangers. I hope any future episodes (if there are any) keep up the level of creativity. This shit was adorable.

In your draw phase..." As I proceeded to flip Guard Dog and Whirlwind Weasel on the unsuspecting rubes.
So not only was the Steal My Deck segment great, but the Ace Attorney music while Joseph was trying to figure out what was happening: perfect. Just incredible all around.
I have an Earth Machine player at my locals who knows that deck inside and out. He did the exact same thing to me during Kash format and would cheeze out Arise-Heart as the final part of his combo. I was playing Kash at the time so that was a nice surprise...

The sheer effort that the "Steal every MBT deck.dek" combo must have taken is beyond impressive. However, what truly sold me wasnt just this insane ass shit, but the fucking shitposting video at the end that was conmpletely unnecessary in order to win, yet elevated the whole thing to another new level.
