This was made in 1954. The youngest US combat veterans were 27 (enlisted at age 17). Combat, and, the results of WWII had been experienced by a significant portion of the US male population. Many had seen the results of aerial bombardment firsthand, as well as decimation via flame throwers, artillery, machine guns, grenades, rifles and pistols. This was made in 1954. The youngest US combat veterans were 27 (enlisted at age 17). Combat, and, the results of WWII had been experienced by a significant portion of the US male population. Many had seen the results of aerial bombardment firsthand, as well as decimation via flame throwers, artillery, machine guns, grenades, rifles and pistols. This group watched this type of "Public Service" messages and worried about their children (too many parents had seen the corpses of young people overseas).
This just makes the horror more real.

This is a great song, I like the mix. It makes U wonder in 2017 if this joke of an administration will press the button. It's scary, but no Republican administration has scared me like Trump's.
