I have the SRP, I confirm, this is a thick watch, too big I think, they should have stick to the 6309 specs. The SPB Willard is nice, but the price is X2. Instead I went for a Steeldive, fits perfectly on the wrist... but no Seiko logo on the dial.
Help me decide. SPB151, SRPE93, or SPB143? From this video, I could really not say the difference between the SPB151 at SRP777 aside from the aesthetics.
Great comparison. wearing my Triple-7 Turtle today and I am drooling over the Captain Willard. Could you do a comparison with the Willard and the SPB143? That would be awesome!
@@clo2715 Yes, especially if you get a good deal. In my country, most watch shops sell seiko. Lots of competitions. We get good deals. I bought the spb153j1 for $830. The one with bracelet is $40 more. Love the rubber strap. So soft and shorter. Doesn't stick out like before. I bought the king turtle srpe07k1 for $400. The k models are made by seiko factory in my country, so, we get good deals. You can Google for Shopee, an Asian online portal and have look. The Willard, being new are not sold there yet. Right now, the retailers are selling them like hot cakes in their shops. Btw, l bought the 62MAS spb147j1 for less at $760. Apparently, being smaller, it has less steel cost, lol.
@@clo2715 yes, l know. I really feel bad for you guys. I am a seikoholic. I collect both vintage and new. I get better deals for the vintage here too and avoid Frankenstein on Ebay. Don't you all get even a but of discount over there?
Exactly what I was looking for. But for the love of Christ, do you think it might be possible to actually line the watches up side by side, so we can actually see the size difference? Or maybe keep the watch in the frame when showing a wrist shot? Your camera skills need work.
I really couldn't see the size difference until you stacked them. Great comparison!
Thank you so much for doing this!
Thanks for comparing these two I always thought the turtle was a little large for my 7ins wrist but the willard will be perfect for me.
Good side by side comparison. I have the turtle and the tuna. Will now be getting the Willard X. Looking forward to seeing your next vid.

fuckin a'
Thanks for comparing these!
great job!
Appreciate your videos. Please do more on the Willard. Tq.
Thanks, anything in particular?
Had the turtle in gilt and sold it...decent piece but the bezel just looked and felt cheap. Love the coin edge on the Willard
Srp777 every day of the week and a healthy bank balance 😀
nice comparison video brother :) Didnt knew you have the turtle
Thanks man. I'm just full of surprises aren't I? :)
@@disheuresdis hehehehe lol bro XD

143 based on aesthetic
Great review.. you have a beautiful collection
Thank you kindly!

Thanks, yes I'm thinking of making a video about the two.
I wish they'd do the SPB case and face with the 9F quartz movement and the turtle hands but keep the SPB second hand. But then it would be $5,000.
It's really impossible to deduce much of anything in this video size-wise due to the cockeyed camera angle.
Using my phone and a small tripod, so yeah not such a good set-up, this one was harder to shoot. Thanks for watching
got the capt. willard ..always a head turner, always serviced every 5 yrs...use ONLY in formal events, have a nice day
Formal events like a Boss!
Terrible advice.
Those two together with the Sumo are the best mid-range divers from seiko
Thanks for the comparison! Can you advise what you paid foe the Willard ? Thanks.
$967
Are these two bezel inserts interchangeable?
Like them both have the captain Willard
Love the way people stare at Willard
Nice comparison. I have a king turtle which l like a lot. I bought the Willard and it's awesome. Both keepers.
Do you think the willard is worth the extra $ over the king turtle?

@@canonyeo4286 at those prices it's definitely worth it. Over here the willard cost about $1,100.

What’s the other New Seiko release that’s similar to the 6105 Willard I believe it’s the SPB101 ?
SPB101 AKA the Sumo isn't similar to the 6105.
SLA033
Does the willard wear smaller than the SRP777?
Yes, by a tiny bit

They certainly do!
hakonig Great attitude! Thanks, and keep shooting more vids!
You sound like Zohan.
Silky smooth
Good watch
Nope, my 4r are running better than my 6r
