Eros was the guy I used to listen to over and over again when I was a kid. My father bought me a CD of him and would play him every time I was on the car. I would usually hop in the back seat and sing to all of the songs perfectly. Brings back so many childhood memories.

Why is everyone surprised with Zil/Paiste switch? Pros don't care about brands, it's whoever gives them best contracts. These 602 sound 99% the same as Ks. I bet noone would've noticed the switch if there wasn't any logos on them.
Tbh Paiste has always been good, cymbals I wanna play would Paiste, Sabian, and Meinl cause the Byzance series, Zildjians I like the K’s, but higher series are always gonna sound good tbh, no matter what the brand is

Christopher Lopez he has always preferred brighter cymbals and it seems paiste has a lot of that, makes sense to me, and plus everyone plays zildjian and some drummers just don’t want to play the same thing as everyone else.

The only way I can explain this to myself is that he is so fucking good that he is probably to the point that the metronome for him has become a limit to his expressive capabilities, and so now he just needs to grasp and connect with the vibe created by other musicians to do his job best.
He probably has floor monitoring beside him. In a room that size there is a notable delay of the sound coming off the back walls that's enough to cause tempo issues
