You really have to marry someone that wants to be a husband and a father. Not someone that just wants a wife and a kid. He’s not prioritizing the family he created. They’re the most important right now. This guy is a walking red flag. You’re not a kid anymore.

It will take several (many) generations to get healthy, to trust, to exhale. There has been so much abandonment (death, separation, substance abuse) impossed on our families... But when mama leaves this earth…. Wife is by his side. You can not let parents dictate how you show up in your own household. Patents will not let their CHILDREN dictate what goes on in theirs. They are now parents. They have to raise their household the way they see fit.

Omar if supporting your mom is important to you, don’t marry this chick. You should of picked a women who could accept this and disclosed this in advance to your lady. I see both sides. Momma is kinda needy and manipulative too.

I guess different continents different cultures, half way through this and I'm heartbroken. Yes black tax kills its youth or next generation but humility and caring for your ageing eneration like they did you and made sacrifices for you and your siblings before the in laws. Are we saying the old must check in on rotten elderly homes not even 3stars elderly homes, that is just wrong, awful. Thank you is a nice gesture when said back. I won't do it to my child God able to take care of myself until my dying day or go to a good elderly home❤
