      I see the like button, but no code. I also see a post that mentions signing up to a private facebook group, by going in the bio, but... what bio. I don't see anything that says bio. Ohhh... I see. It's on the pattern page, not the facebook group page.

      So, I don't engage in social media and don't have a facebook account. Is there another means to obtain the pattern free? Thanks.

    Thank you for your video :) I am new, was looking for a basic pattern idea to use up a bunch of my stretch knit fabric and an easy make for my body type. What a sweet soul you are! I didn't notice your nails in the video until reading through the comments and must say that I had no problem with them. I actually loved that you didn't complicate the make much because it really need not be and for some of us intermeeds, I still get a bit overwhelmed by all the steps when some can be skipped on a dress like this. I went and got the pattern and didn't mind the 5 bucks because of all the ideas they gave me on their site and options in the pattern, it will pay for itself over and over as I can make a whole wardrobe with it. Last, I thought you did a balanced "plug" on the machine. Wasn't overly focused at all. I happen to have a BabyLock Zeal so it was nice to see the different machine. I would love to have a link if possible to your blog to see how the dress looks on you :)

      I used to buy t-shirt dresses at K-mart before they went out of business for around $10. I altered them ( slit on each side, shortened the length, slit up the back ) now I can make my own. Great tutorial. I'm in-between a beginner and intermediate sewer. Please keep making tutorials. Thank you lots.

    As a beginner, I can say that I really loved your video! I've downloaded the pattern and will start with shirt length. Now I need to find fabric that will work. Do they make Christmas/Holiday fabrics in stretch knits?

Thank you for sharing your ideas with us, much appreciated

    I bought pins at Wal-Mart. They are really not sharp enough and I am quite disappointed. The pins you're using - perhaps available at Jo-Anns? I may look there. I have just finished sewing knit fabric project on my new Baby Lock Zest and tried the different stitches. Thank you for your helpful teaching efforts.

    • @mysewbliss
      @mysewbliss  6 месяцев назад

      So glad you found it helpful! I suggest using glass point needles for knits. They are smaller and sharper and will pierce the fabric better 💛💛 I got mine from Joann’s but they can also be found online

    The shoulder seams need stabilizing so they don't stretch out.

    • @mysewbliss
      @mysewbliss  2 года назад

      Yes, if the fabric needs more stabilizing than adding elastic is a great option. This fabric was thick and sturdy enough that I haven’t had any issues without the stabilization.

    • @sewzolamarie7527
      @sewzolamarie7527 2 года назад +1

      @@mysewbliss Ummm. . . stabilizing shoulder seams is done with stay tape, not elastic

    • @mysewbliss
      @mysewbliss  2 года назад

      Clear elastic, stay tape, ribbom, or twill tape are all recommended materials to use to stabilize shoulder seams. For knits I like to use elastic.

      First I love having acrylic nails and for the most part it doesn’t get in the way of my sewing at all. Second it’s hard to show off the full thing in my sewing room but you can check out the pattern link to see the full look. Which leads me to my third thing, You can get the pattern here, it is listed for $5 but if you join the Love Notions Facebook page there is a code that gets you the pattern for free.

      Mocking her manicure served absolutely no purpose but to be rude. As far as speed, just rewatch it or pause as you go along. I'm a beginner and this was a good tutorial to me. Increasing the speed during a mundane part of a video is normal for youtube creators. Slow it down if you like.

      @TheMelbourneHeart GO FUCK YOURSELF with that SHIT tutorial!!! Bitches, outside show how clean they're but inside STINCKS especially when you're clean stinck VAGINAS with fucking fake nails!!! Try to be more clean and show the real nails 💅 if you Bitches, grooming yourself ever! I'm very clean inside on my all body and outside as well...because I clean my pussy every night before I go in bed!! No fake fucking nails ever. I'm Greek, woman... we're clean our body for 1000 or 2000 years so we smell good and fresh wherever we do or go!!! Bitches, learn something from Greeks, women how to clean yourself...no fake nails or take shower every night!
