CAJUN RECIPE I MADE
1 onion chopped
1 lb link sausage
1 can of rotel
3 cups of water
Shredded cheese
1 lb penne pasta
1 small container of heavy whipping cream
seasoning i used: onion and garlic salt
-Cut the onion sausage into small pieces and add into the skillet and Brown. Season with your choice of seasoning and add in the can of Rotel, 3 cups of water and penne pasta. Let this simmer until the pasta is cooked… Make sure to stir every couple of minutes. When the pasta is cooked, add any heavy cream and stir until the recipe thickens. Top with shredded cheese and enjoy.

I can’t see the brand of water you used but it needs to be pure spring water with no treatments. If it’s municipal water (which a lot of bottled water is) then it will slow it down. Also keep it warm and make sure if you use your fingers to scrape the spoon like that, that they are very clean. Feed twice a day for a while until it’s strong. Use a dehydrated active starter to get going faster.

My personal experience is of sourdough starters get too chilled they stop growing. At least in the early stages. Keep it somewhat warm
