- "I Can't Tell You Why" is a song by the American rock band Eagles, which appeared on their 1979 album The Long Run. It was written by band members Timothy B. Schmit, Glenn Frey, and Don Henley. Recorded in March 1978, it was the first song finished for the album and the first Eagles song to feature Schmit on lead vocals.

We are the REO Brothers from Tacloban City, Philippines. We formed our band last 2009. We showcase and play music of the 6O's especially of The Beatles. We were victims and survivors of Super Typhoon Haiyan last 2013.
Though it was a tragic event in our family’s lives, it opened many doors of opportunities for us as a band. Because of our love for the craft of music, our repertoire covers of The Beatles have lead us to perform at benefit shows and started to gain more gigs as well. Great things were unfolding before us and we were breaking new grounds beyond our wildest dreams.
This enabled us to slowly pick up the “almost shattered” pieces of our lives after the debacle and faced on life with more resilience and confidence. Because of The Beatles, we were able to rebuild our family’s lives and rise up more with zest for living while doing the thing we love most: To perform and be an inspiration to others.

Shawn, this was true even in 1967 at the military bases in Japan. Whenever a Filipino band was at the club, it was always packed to the ceiling. 🇺🇸

Well done boys,! Eagles should be proud and happy that their song is being appreciated by younger band generation. Instead of taking down cover of their songs, they should support them. It’s music and art sharing to younger generation. It’s not all about money and pride.
Not to Don Henley, he actually has a staff of 60 people working 40 hours a week , watching RUclips,Facebook, Instagram etc with one intent of taking down videos of people playing the Eagles music who have not PAID for the rights to play the music,I thought the exact same thing, what he doesn’t realize is The Eagles fan base are GETTING OLD, and the exposure will lead to more people buying, and going to see the band live , and instead of removing the video he could have them change the revenue sharing to have the majority going to the Eagles, instead he doesn’t want ANYONE making ANY amount of money off the music he made, no matter if the creator set it up that the Eagles would STILL make money... Read Don Felder’s Book “Heaven and Hell, my life in the Eagles “ to learn about all the shady, horrible things Don Henley and Glenn Fry did . Little preview Don Felder wrote the music for Hotel California, and on the original album his name is included in the writing credits( which means he gets $ when it’s played on the radio,used in movies,TV,or if anyone wanted to cover and release the song” so at one point on a “best of” albums they TOOK FELDERS NAME OFF OF THE WRITING CREDITS, Felder had to SUE them to have them put it back on.

REO Bros put their hearts into every cover they do. Otherwise, they'd be churning out covers every other day or every week just to get more views. They'd rather not do a cover if they couldn't be true to the original. Their professionalism and artistry are what separates them from other bands.

'Our boys' are becoming more professional by the second with their approach to producing videos on here ... their sound and visuals are pristine and they are up to their usual 100% standard when playing tribute/homage to EVERY band and artiste ... they are now a 'tour de force' on social media and are being recognised outside too on many music forums and websites ... it's only a matter of time before they are internationally recognised as THE best tribute band on the planet ... what they do is unique and no other tribute band has the ability and versatility that the lads have ... they are proving by the second that they are much more than 'The Pinoy Beatles' ... there is no other band that I have seen can reproduce the sounds of many bands from many eras as well as these lads ... most tribute acts concentrate on one band and have built up their reputations over the years for doing so and some are incredibly good ... but I would challenge them to do the same as the brothers ..which upon evidence of many years I know they would not be able to do .... cherish these moments now folks as these guys are going to be internationally HUGE ... well done once again lads I am SO PROUD OF YOU! ... 1 Million hits on the way soon!

The fact that these talented guys dare to play and record these great hits with only their natural output (voices and the instruments we see right there) without any extra fill-in philharmonic sound (which they could perfectly add) makes me take my hat off. Congratulations !

I love how the guitarist doesn't "make-a-big-deal" out of the historic guitar solos. He plays the notes. He plays them correctly. He doesn't need to do the "scrunchfaceohsointense" histrionics common among other musicians. Historically nations have established societies for their artist: Bach, Beethoven, Chopan. These men establish the importance of the artist they coer with the same level of dedication. Thank God for Filipino soul.

I don't know what has happened that there has been an influx of top rated tribute cover bands posting Eagles songs. We are better for it. Bands like the REO Bros who know the legit issues are freely putting them up now. Its awesome and renewing my love for the Eagles while appreciating the love and care young folks take recreating the music of my youth. You guys are awesome!

There are a few awesome great bands in the Philippines that can do covers as good as this. I’ve seen them while stationed there back in the 80ties and 90ties but these boys are awesome…

The timing and accent of the lead singer, however, threw me off a little bit, but I still want to encourage them to try to improve this aspect of their performance. Keep up the good work! :-)

I've been a long-time fan of the RB thru YT and this was the first time I actually had the opportunity to wait for an upcoming upload/post. And it definitely has been worth it.
