WOW!!! Good lord have mercy!! I'm a 53 year old musician who's played all over the SE US - earned my living doing songs just like this with some of the finest talent you can imagine...and today I stumble across these young men performing one of the absolute best Souther/Eagles songs of all time...and they just knock the ball completely out of the park! Gentlemen....please take it from someone who has played and harmonized with some of the best....you guys are SPECIAL! Thank you for providing this for us to watch and listen to!
I have been a Brazilian musician and doctor for many years. Today I am 65 years old. I still have a band, too. kkkk. I play the guitar. You are a wonderful example of life. Musicians of extreme sensitivity and good musical taste. Your vocals are exceptional. They are not behind any world band. I was very touched when I first heard you. God continue to bless you all. I hope one day to be able to give each one a big and loving hug. A kiss in the hearts of everyone in the band.
I may be late commenting on this video and maybe no one will see this comment, but I come here every morning and every day because of my depression. This soothing music helped me a lot. I just wanted to say thank you for letting me get through the hard times
A well-deserved CONGRATULATIONS for another remarkable success. New Kid in Town was the very first video of you guys that I ever saw and it literally blew me away. I've never smashed the subscribe button so fast! 😂 Take a bow REO Brothers 👏👏👏 All your videos deserve views a MILLION times over, and your God-given talent and hard work merit worldwide recognition. ❤❤❤
There are tens of thousands of bands playing every night in bars/pubs in the US and UK covering songs with great musicianship but by their sheer precision and joy of music it's beyond obvious that the REO Brothers are the greatest cover band that ever lived.
I read that there are 9 siblings in their family and all of them can sing and play musical instruments. And none of them had any form of formal training too. We definitely still have a lot to look forward to. LOL, fortunately for us their parents do not believe in family planning!!
Best Filipino Music why do Filipinos have so many kids? Just started dating a Filipina woman and she’s got like ten siblings. I dated a few Mexican chicks and it’s basically the same 😂
As a 59 year old man who grew up on groups like The Eagles, and can strum the guitar a bit, you guys did a fantastic job of staying true to the song and the sound. Well "played" young men, well played.
I have been a huge fan of The Eagles for decades and have every album and know every song. I have even been lucky enough to see them live and I absolutely hate any form of cover of their songs as they are one of those bands that cannot be interpreted but jeez.......these guys are freaking awesome and for such young lads they really are super talented and why they are just sitting in a room making covers I will never know. Get out there lads you are worth far more.......keep on what you are doing because I am loving it 👌😁
i think they always perform on clubs/bars but because of pandemic it's really hard to find gigs. RUclips is another alternative for earning especially with the virus still out there. it's alot safer too :)
There is nothing more inspiring than hearing the younger global generation appreciate and play with great skill and respect, classic American songs from my time. There is still hope for the world! Thank you.
Not just the younger generation, but going back several decades, many aspiring musicians in the PI have always looked toward Western Pop music and culture for inspiration and hope. Younger children watch their parents play guitar or piano or sing, then they themselves are inspired to continue the tradition. This has been going on for decades. I know this because of my many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins who covered songs from the 60s-70s, and their children are singing and playing instruments right alongside them.
I read that there are 9 siblings in their family and all of them can sing and play musical instruments. And none of them had any form of formal training too. We definitely still have a lot to look forward to. LOL, fortunately for us their parents do not believe in family planning!!
God has really blessed Philippines with great musical talent. It's a treat hearing these youngsters belting out all the songs with aplomb. Beautifully combination!!

I was a musician in the mid 80's in Southern California, and played clubs like the Roxy and the Whisky in Hollywood a couple of times in a progressive rock band. First of all you picked the perfect song to show off the vocal harmonies.... this is the greatest song in 50 years for that... a fantastic rendition ... wherever you guys are, Phillipines? You should be able to play every weekend if you can execute covers this good for a full set...... beautiful job.
I’ve been a professional musician for 40 years, and have been blessed to have worked with many incredibly talented and skilled musicians, both on stages and in studios during that time; and I’m absolutely knocked out at just how good The REO Brothers are. And, they’re not knocking out an easy song here, either. “New Kid” is a song of very tight vocal harmonies, and precisely figured chord changes and counter melody parts of all the instruments. I’m saying... they have chosen a song to play and sing that’s not easy - not by a long shot - this is not your run of the mill, three chord song, bashing out chords with just a lead vocal. This song requires finesse, dynamics, melody and counter melody... and these young men have captured all of these things. This was outstanding, lads. I look forward to hearing more from you. ❤️
I agree with your observation. Not on easy piece to play the lead guitar and sing at the same time. I am familiar with this song but it is only now that I appreciate it more.
Probably one of the more "wordy" Eagles tunes they are covering here too Donny. They have the harmonies tuned in, and their speed is good too! Always the damn drummer hurrying a song!
Prime example of the mysterious Filipino musical talent. Seems (most) all have a natural ability to both sing and understand music theory. All throughout Southeast Asia, Filipinos are known for their music. These guys are top shelf though.

Reo Brothers what can i say but Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow the Eagles will be so proud of you i mean wow wow wow i got chills watching this video amazing Job guys keep up the great work
i dont want to be biased but filipinos can speak or sing diff. languages exactly desame from diff. nationalities. name it europeans , australians even japanese koreans or chinese...
They can play like the real Beatles, Bee Gees and now Eagles. You guys are extremely talented. Keep it up! I'll be listening to your music all the time.
It’s easy to dismiss this group as a mere cover band but a little understanding on how to pull this off will tell you that it will require not just talent but immense hard work in order to “decode” the intricate arrangements by ear.
REO brothers are really gifted in the field of music, they can sing well, favorate old songs from the late 60's. 70's & 80"s and even play instruments copied as if the original music album. OMG they are execellent filipino musician, a solid family ability. Foreigners appreciated them well. I keep on watching them in the RUclips, as their avid fan.. I 'm proud of them.. keep the good work mga Tol....
Nag umpisang magustuhan ko ang music na yan habang akoy nag lalakbay.papuntang taytay rizal bata p ako nion hanggang ngayon paborito kopa.good job reo brothers.
That was really great guys, so tight, harmony was rite on time. I'm a musician too, I was smiling the whole time I was watching and listening to yall. I read your tragic story about the Typhoon. Wow, I'm glad yall made it, definitely had a guardian Angel with you. Keep on doin what your doin!!!! Luv to see the young guys jamming to the classic's! Yall are FRICKIN AWSOME!🤘🏻
Your parents are brilliant. They kept five boys busy by putting instruments in their hands. Love hearing your cover songs. Well done. Keep the younger brother on stage. He did a fine job.
These guys are on point with nearly every song they do. What amazes me so much is their ages and how much they know about the oldies. Harmonies are awesome and off the charts!
Radio stations AM/FM in the Philippines Always play English songs regardless of genra. In fact All DJs are required to speak English as well. During Sundays , they play songs from the 60s to the 90s .
Because of the influenced of our Grand Pa's and Fathers. They always played it Everytime. These western Songs are really famous in the Philippines like in America. Its just the same level of popularity. And we as their kids we adopt it and probably pass it in the next Gen too. Up until now we played these classic songs. We really love it
I’m a session guitarist and clinician and I’m totally blown out of the water. To sing and play a song of such complexity and absolutely just crush it.......what just happened!!!!!!!?
Grew up listening to Eagles, Beatles, and Air Supply because dad is a huge fan. Hearing these humble guys sing one of my favourite Eagles song made me cry tears of joy. Love you guys! Keep doing what you do! ❤️❤️❤️
In his travel to the Philippines, Anthony Bourdain once said: "...at any given moment somewhere in the Philippines, there is at least one person and probably many more who can step in and do your act better than you. And after only a couple of hours' practice"
Really sounding like the Eagles. Good job....I've got a great band to listen to now. My husband is Pinoy and I'm Hawaiaan mix with Irish, Scottish. In our 60's and this was our favorite music that we listened to back then and now. Thank you so very much. Funtastic!!! Big smile from Anna Banana and Wilson DC. Big smiles here!
The diversity and talent of these lads is incredible. I stumbled onto them about two months ago. I've listened to their collection of tunes in awe. What a wealth of knowledge and skill.!!!!!
You guys are fucking unbelievable! Incredible! If you are not a musician, you have no idea how great these guys are! God bless you! Please keep playing! The world needs you!
I have been listening to these wonderful The REO Brothers for hours and I can see that they are not covers, this is easy, they are excellent restorers of precious musical jewels. It is impossible not to fall in love with such musical competence. Hugs from Brazil.
Wow guys, I'm 61 yrs of age and I've grown up with the eagles, now I can grow older listening to you, well done, so gifted, best wishes from Gorseinon in Wales, UK. XX
There's nothing these dudes can't play and sound good. it's not only because they have talent, it's also because they truely love what they do. Two thumbs up.
these young guys are so musically versatile. Carry on kids! I am with you till the end of my life. You know, I am 66 years old already and still savoring good songs like yours! God bless you.
I read that there are 9 siblings in their family and all of them can sing and play musical instruments. And none of them had any form of formal training too. We definitely still have a lot to look forward to. LOL, fortunately for us their parents do not believe in family planning!!
The Eagles got a fresh treatment from a boy band of current generation! And boy! What a tribute indeed! The New Kid In Town has poignant lyrics and tells of a sentiment that rings true to this day! Congratulations Reo Brothers - you do us Filipinos proud with your perfect rendition!
I was paddling this morning with this song in my head and I come home and find the brothers doing New kid in town,oh my .....perfect.Keep singing these songs and touching the hearts of us 73 year old softies.
His name is RJ I searched them! And he is my fave of the siblings together with Reno the drummer! I love RJ's looks with thay hair and him being playful. Reno the drummer for that shy look and his falsetto voice
Not only vocal and chorus, but also Guitars, Base, Keyboard are as close as Original track! Especially, lead singer plays lead guitar also, which is really incredible!!
Gracias hermanos Filipinos, verdaderamente que la música no conoce de fronteras... excelentes interpretaciones, cierro los ojos y parece que escucho a los originales.

@Packo_ Hubu :)
i dont want to be biased but filipinos can speak or sing diff. languages exactly desame from diff. nationalities. name it europeans , australians even japanese koreans or chinese...
and most of those bands performing in Japan are filipinos.
BTS daw eh hahaha
They can play like the real Beatles, Bee Gees and now Eagles. You guys are extremely talented. Keep it up! I'll be listening to your music all the time.
And they do Gary Lewis songs like nobody's business!!!
The lead is just so casual & smooth...
Like he's making love with the guitar....
From a long-time Eagles Fan...party on. Best cover I have ever heard.
Note for Note men. Unbelievable! Thanks so much!
It’s easy to dismiss this group as a mere cover band but a little understanding on how to pull this off will tell you that it will require not just talent but immense hard work in order to “decode” the intricate arrangements by ear.
Its not just talent.. Its hardwork.. Hardwork.. Hardwork.. They are hardworking bisayan like manny pacman who worked his ass off to get there on top..
Absolutely!

Speaking as someone who hung out with the Eagles back in the day you guys embody the song as well as they did when they first learned it.

Fastest to become 1M in just 3 months. Kudos!
Gives me goosebumps. One of my favorite songs, and these guys nailed it! I'm watching ALL of these videos now.
We really love it
Sandy from Manchester ct USA. Love this song. Your performance is beyond excellent. Thanks so so much f
Very Nice compilation. You guys are real good
I’m a session guitarist and clinician and I’m totally blown out of the water. To sing and play a song of such complexity and absolutely just crush it.......what just happened!!!!!!!?
The're good arent they?

Grew up listening to Eagles, Beatles, and Air Supply because dad is a huge fan. Hearing these humble guys sing one of my favourite Eagles song made me cry tears of joy. Love you guys! Keep doing what you do! ❤️❤️❤️
In his travel to the Philippines, Anthony Bourdain once said:
"...at any given moment somewhere in the Philippines, there is at least one person and probably many more who can step in and do your act better than you. And after only a couple of hours' practice"
RJ just shines in this performance. The other brothers are fantastic, too. It's just nice to see RJ have a perfect moment. Congratulations !
Music is the language of the soul, and these lads speak eloquently. Keep spreading your message.
Omg I can listen to these guys all night. They just nail every song they play. The plus side, they play the music I like to hear
The diversity and talent of these lads is incredible. I stumbled onto them about two months ago. I've listened to their collection of tunes in awe. What a wealth of knowledge and skill.!!!!!
Very nice guys. Greetings from Croatia.
I'm sure even the original eagles would tip their hats off to our reo bros when they hear how they sing their hit songs. I know i would.

I have been listening to these wonderful The REO Brothers for hours and I can see that they are not covers, this is easy, they are excellent restorers of precious musical jewels. It is impossible not to fall in love with such musical competence. Hugs from Brazil.

You have a fan in Brazil!!! I listening every day!!!!! Thanks a lot!!!!!
Well done fellas! Life long Eagles fan here.
great..love to hear all songs from this band.....
these young guys are so musically versatile.
Wow! Great cover of a very difficult song. Glad to see young folks bringing back old songs from a great band.
I was paddling this morning with this song in my head and I come home and find the brothers doing New kid in town,oh my .....perfect.Keep singing these songs and touching the hearts of us 73 year old softies.
Every time the long-haired guy does lead guitar and lead vocal I’m in shock!! You guys are like a religion, and I’m a believer! 😆
His name is RJ...FYI 😁
Man you are hooked ... Blessing
Ha ha
Say alleluiah...
RJ can sing and play guitar and keyboards at the same time. Check out their cover of Earth, Wind and Fire songs. Just amazing talent.
Gracias hermanos Filipinos, verdaderamente que la música no conoce de fronteras... excelentes interpretaciones, cierro los ojos y parece que escucho a los originales.
Great sound guys!
Vocals and guitar chords were incredible
