Switzerland and Israel have mandatory military service
I am 74 I went in the US Army Jan 1964 served until Jan 1967. I served State side, my brother two years older than me served 3 years and reinlisted for 3 more he went to Vietnam his second term. At 62 he died from agent orange he had cancer all through his body . I have said for years that everyone that is physical able should serve their Country, they would have a better appreciation for what they have here. I have a long history of family serving this Country. Korea and Vietnam. Thanks for posting
Thank you for protecting our country god bless😁
Happy Veterans day Brother! Thank you for serving our country.
I was becoming a juvenile delinquent until I joined the military, spent 12 years and straightened my life out!
Lol - you must have been a bad kid! Most of us got straightened out in 3 or 4 years!
Thank You for Your Service 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

THANK YOU FOR SERVICES!
So why didn't you stay for 20?
Love and prayers to ALL vets, and active duty servicemen and women throughout the world. Thank you for your service. WE owe YOU!
You are worth it.
Thanks for your support, and to be honest, you owe us nothing in return, as it is my duty and honor to serve and protect this great nation.
Actually, I believe every American needs to protect their country and if you do not love America, move to China then find out what Freedom is all about.
While you were "believing", the enemy has come through your back door and stole your country. Title 28 USC 3002 Section 15 (a)(b)(c) We are no longer a sovereign nation, but we are now a satellite state of Israel. Keep those knee-pads, or magazines, handy.
@@daydreamer5492 Good gawd, please stop with that bullshit. If what you say were actually the correct interpretation of what you're misreading and taking completely out of context, you'd be able to provide a copy of or link to the articles of incorporation which have been filed making this true. But you can't. Because they don't exist. But the Dunning-Kruger effect does exist, and you illustrate it quite well. It's not productive to draw wild conclusions from text you try to read but cannot comprehend yet somehow feel comfortable with spewing the misinformation in your conclusions, and those you've swallowed whole from others who are equally mislead, in any and all directions. Professing to have a clue about a subject on which you are actually quite clueless, yet still pushing it on others with supreme confidence in it's validity and your purpose in spreading the word should cause others to be extra cautious and skeptical of the message. Yet in this day and age where people love conspiracy theories and seek out information which confirmed their biases, they trust any theory they read that's negative and anti-govt. Believing everything the govt says is a lie and that my everything they do has some wicked underlying purpose is as ignorant and harmful as believing that everything the govt says is the truth and nobody in govt would ever mislead the public to further their particular agenda.

I believe veterans are the most important people that are in our country . Thank you all .
That's a nice sentiment, and I appreciate it, but we aren't that important. We aren't nearly so important as the young troops serving now. Our time had been served, these young kids volunteering today deserve the recognition. Thank you for your appreciation.
I agree but why do they treat them like shit. As far as Im concvreaned they should have to worry about a thing or at least the ones on the front lines, yet they have to beg and plead and to get services that frankly corporate America should be paying because thats who they are protecting in large part.

@mikeaxe1 For sure!
The military nowadays ain't what it was 30 or 20 or even 10 years ago...
Bring back the DRAFT...
Should be mandatory for 4 years right out of high school . No college deferments. Let the military teach them a thing or two about REAL life.
Happy Veterans Day! My husband is also a Veteran and we appreciate your service! ☺️💙🙏🏻
My husband and I both believe it would be good for young people to experience the structure of the military! Yes for sure!
Thank you very much for your service.❤
I growing up with my Dad in the Army we learned how to respect my elders follow rule etc.
Then let them have the freedom of choice then. China forces their people to serve.
A volunteer Army is a strong Army. We have to trust who has our back.
Your thoughts about the military are dead on. I'm 77 yrs old, spend 4 yrs in the US Air Force, a total of 35 yrs with Uncle Sam. I believe they need to bring back the draft. A big bunch of these folks today have little respect for people and I think a stint in the military would grow them up and teach them the respect they need to show people. Keep up the good work!
The armed forces want the best and brightest not societal rejects.

My husband and as from a much different era. He left the farm to go into the Merchant Marines (it was WWII)!! They merged with another branch of the Military during the Korean War!! As I think back it is amazing how many branches of the Military he was in.
From WWII and finally Vietnam Nam. That Tragedy caused many to leave the Military and go live in the woods. We’re treated so poorly when they came home, some went into hiding.
He has gone on to be with our Lord now so I was able to post the photo of him having the Vietnam Metal of Service pinned on by a Vietnamese officer. He never would have allowed it. I found the beautiful pen in his desk drawer.

I was drafted into the Army at 21 years old. I was the OLD guy in basic along with the 18 & 19 yr olds. To me serving (even in Viet Nam) was a great honor.
Yesterday my aid wished me a THANK YOU FOR SERVING and I felt a twinge of pride after all the years passing. because she said it out of the blue & she meant it. Not all the young people are lost & not caring. she made my day.
Serving two years would be an awesome idea, might even help them determine which bathroom to use!
Lol.
It would be what latrine or head to use.
Then they'd just argue about which crayons tasted better than the others.
Beautiful love that 😂
Love your channel. Cannot express enough the respect I have for all veterans. My dad did 22 years in the USAF. I retired after 25 years as a police officer and always showed the utmost respect for any veterans I came in contact with. You are the reason for our freedom.
I think everyone not just men should serve at least two years. A lot of the whining would disappear.
Not a bad idea actually... least send the spoilt brats to serve for the country, and they will soon learn to be humble and appreciate.

The problem with today’s kids we don’t give them enough tough love
Spair the rod spoi the child
@@dwaneholiday4043 Amen
The real problem is we give them no responsibility and then expect them to suddenly go out into the world at 18 and be productive citizens.
Unfortunately most of their parents never got enough "tough love" unless their parents were good Christian parents where morality and selflessness was a family staple. Public schools and homes should also have the right to use the paddle for undisciplined kids without recourse (not talking about beating the kids silly, just not sparing the rod of discipline). Too damn much coddling these kids with all the psychological & litigious bullshit has destroyed these kids, most privileged. It's sad that the leftist disease has settled in the brains of so many people.
When we quit spanking kids .. Saying a prayer in school and The Pledge of Allegiance on school kids lost their minds.
Thank you for your service. Happy veterans day to all our veterans
My daughter goes for basic training in the marines in 2 days, im so proud of her and I tried to enlist during the first gulf War when I was 19 but was medically ineligible from a car accident leaving me with a steel plate in my face, a plastic eye socket with steel and fiberglass in my nose, oh yeah and permanent pins in my jaw. I thank every veteran I can for all my freedoms that they sacrificed to give me and in some ways always feel ashamed I didn't serve, I wish all businesses gave a veteran a break like tractor supply does, may God bless all veterans and currently enlisted, vets never get enough credit and many are blind to the sacrifice those who fought and died for the blessings of liberty they've provided
When i graduated H S i went and took the Air Force test. I didn't tell any one but this was really what i wanted to do. Well i failed the math test and that was the end of that. South Africa used to be like that - gone to shit now. I will say I did have a choice - in South Arica - I could either serve for 2 years (national Service) or go to prison with hard labor for 2 years - every male had the choice - best time of my life in the original SADF - thanks.
True, but we have too many idiots in our country.
Israel still has a real education system.
I am 74 years old and I was drafted not long before the drawings began. I was not real happy about it at the time but in hindsight I am SO SO glad I was drafted. I considered extending but I think I was still too immature to do it. Now all these many years later it was probably one of the best things ever to happen to me. The military (at least in the mid to late 60s) forced you to learn responsibility to care for your clothing, finances,& hygiene . You learned respect for officers and NCOs or learn the consequences and then still learn to respect them. It pulled little boys away from mommy's apron strings. You learned to make $86.00 a month last for a full month. Not a full weekend. You learned not to call in "sick" for a hangover. In simple language you were FORCED TO GROW UP. My 2 years in the Army got me the education required to work on certified aircraft, a job lasting 22 years working for federal civil service with a great retirement where I was still treated with respect as a blue color worker and I also got a GI loan on my house with ZERO down, though my retirement would have allowed me to have 20% down. So.....do I think our young men should be required to give at least 2 years to their country .....ABSOLUTLY YES I do. But I freely they should stay for another year or 2 for their own benefit. It's the fastest growing up they will ever experience. In hindsight I wish I had extended a couple more years. Back then stripes were fast man were E5 before their 2 years were up.
I appreciate veterans for serving our country, risking their lives for our freedom. It used to be required for men to serve our country and men ended up being men. I didn't know that Tractor Supply gave a discount for veterans. Thank you for your service. When I worked as a cashier for Home Depot, I always thanked the veterans and most of them acted surprised.
I just subscribed to your channel. Every Tractor Supply does this on Veterans Day to take care of you and your family. Thank you for your comments on Veterans. I am a Navy Veteran and I am the Democratic Party Veterans Caucus Representitive in Kansas. Yep have been in league for appx. 4 yrs. Fun time but not always try to get to the local Vet cemetery and wash down the head stones before Memorial Day, but last year and maybe this year we've been held at bay due to the Covid!
Everyone should be highly compelled to join the military right out of High School for a minimum of 2 years. Just to know
what it is to be a part of serving their country , develop discipline, and have a sense of unity and camaraderie with their fellow citizens. After that they will have the G I Bill
to use for payment of any College they are qualified for. The more time you serve the more benefits you get. This would end most of the debt we have through the student
loan program which is killing people who have had their lives ruined though lack of understanding that defaulting on a student loan will never written off. It will follow them forever.
Remember you don't have to repay the GI Bill benefits. You just use them or not. My son who is now 40 was in the Marines for 8 years, one tour in Iraq, used his GI Bill for his college
education, a Bachelors Degree in English and later a Master's Degree at NYU. All PAIDED with the GI Bill. I carefully inform my nephews and nieces to think about it. So far no luck.
Some of them seem rudderless in life. I enlisted in the USAF right out of high school stayed 9 years then left feeling good about my decisions.

Then you need to move to China.
