To think that this concert is itself 20 years-old already... good Lord mercy...
I feel old now ...
Good old wine 🍷😄
Perfection is here
This song is so great. Loved the whole album. And so terribly foresighted. Here we are, completely immersed in the Age of Plastic.
Both Buggles albums were and are still so damn good. Lightyears ahead of their time.
Buggles and New Musik are my favourite bands.
Great music and musicians and voices and lights and people ... and all.
Trevor’s voice is still impressive!
Remember, he sang with YES!
he sounded like jon anderson
@@RedStrikerBeetleborgah no, he didnt. NO ONE sounds like Anderson.
This song, like the whole LP, is a masterpiece! Listening to it again after so many years gives me the same emotions.
This track was an earworm for me when it first came out. This live version (mixed in post) still sounds fresh. Thanks for sharing!
Yup. I bought this but not VKTRS..
Trevor Horn you are such a Legend in my book. Love your music. Thank You for making days and nights better with your wonderful music.
This is actually one of my favourite songs, bonkers brilliance and full of ideas both musical and lyrical....love it!
Still fresh and brilliant after more than four decades
Just Brilliant
Absolutely BRILLIANT!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I literally got chills hearing & watching this. What an incredible performance, sounds so much like the original recorded version …true talent. Trevor Horn is a musical genius 🎶🎤🎸🎵
Nice Vocal, Vocalists, composition and band ! ...I can fly from here...
Horn is the only singer I've heard get smoother and more suited to his songs with age
The Bassplaying and the Women Chorus at 3:29: absolutely brilliant!!!
This song is amazing, but it's the chorus that really elevates it to legendary heights!
Amazing, one of my favourite songs ever! Massive fan of the buggles!
Would love this concert on dvd 📀 🤩
Una verdadera obra de arte @Trevor Horn majestuoso saludos desde México
Bloody awesome! 👏👏👏👏👏
Such a master piece. Brilliant.
Awesome!
What a brilliant live version of this most wonderful song! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Great track
Oh so very, very well done!!! 😀
Back during the pandemic I listened to this everyday for quite a long time. Suuuch a good song
I loved the Buggles from day 1. In my opinion, they don’t have a bad song!!
They didnt stay together sadly but at least i give hall and oates a medal for staying together for a long time
This is a classic. Trevor Horn, Geoff Downes and Bruce Wooley…really eclectic and unique as a team.
Not to mention the voice of Linda Allen R.I.P
"They send the thought police, to put you under cardiac arrest. And as they drag you through the dark, they tell you that you failed the test".... such powerful lyrics and very prophetic. Love the allusions to Orwell there too.
Agreed, certainly powerful.
Though the lyrics are "heart police" and "drag you through the door".
Superb
Bass and vocalist 🏆
my first ever bought Vinyl. the Single.... and decades later i still love the synth sounds.. thank you trevor..
Utter genius. What a beautiful bass player he is as well.
So relevant!

Please reinstate the longer version Teevor!!!!! We all want it!!❤
what voices amazing the package .
What a great album! The age of plastic” the beginnings of the New Wave era!♥️🫶😎👍
Brilliant performance!
Trevor Horn is god
I'm currently in the process of reading his autobiography 'Adventures in Modern Recording'. It's amazing who he has worked with apart from the people/bands listed below.
👍👏👏👏💖
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 very good!
I love this song, me born in 1967
Trevor, you created an incredible sound on Welcome To The Pleasuredome, all the 12” singles of Two Tribes, Pleasuredome, War, Relax - were just luscious, and funky beyond belief. And Slave to The Rhythm, that beat, was a little masterpiece. The 12” were all divine. The go go beat. Wow. And your work with Seal, just beautiful. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t get the whole “Buggles” thing. Your work with Yes, on Owner of a Lonely Heart and Leave it…just speechless. You infuse so much jazz, funk into any genre, so seamlessly. Of course you are a Debussy fan. Art Of Noise, Shoot that poison arrow, how I love all of these songs, Independent of one another, only to find the constant, is always you. I don’t like pop music, either, never have. Produce my own music, for my own pleasure, and have since I was a child. Can’t read a single note, but your ear is just magical, and so similar to my own. But, being a Brit, of course you have the streak of complete creative weirdness, I’ll never fully grasp. But I respect this, as well. Read this, and make a 1980s little American oddball girl’s dream come true.
What an awesome comment.
Great ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤😎
More please
I wish Trevor Horn could actually show videos where he performed with the other groups at this Prince's Trust concert in 2004. It was among the very best in sound quality and production. Ryan Malloy did better and more work with 'Frankie Goes To Hollywood' at this concert than Holly Johnson did at the EuroVision opening, recently. lol
(:
I bought the dvd to watch the whole show fantastic concert
Can't wait 2 c him this weekend in Houston. Plz sign my CDs.
Souvenirs 👍
I wish the Prince's Trust Concert music was available someplace. You are losing a ton of money!!
Since Trevor finally got the rights to his Own performance only, you are barking up the wrong tree. The Prince's Trust has the rights to other performances at the concert in 2004. They are the ones to ask, but they only fairly recently got around to posting some highlights from 1988 and 2010. lol
@@wills2140 It's like having a gold mine but refusing to take out any gold.
Ok wait,so I didn’t need to buy the dvd all those years ago? Actually I’ve enjoyed the whole gig for years in Dolby so it was well worth it.
Why did they remove the Video killed the radio star from this concert? It's one of my kid's top 5 videos... :-/
No its here m.ruclips.net/video/uYAErFChPm4/видео.html
Well, it’s kinda, like I don’t know, just why?
Clare Torry on bv's? Great Gig in the Sky...
🌠HOLA TREVOR HORN😍CUANDO LA MUSICA DE NUESTRO TIEMPO ES GENIAL....""" LIVING.....""" 🌲ME GUSTA-LIKE 186🙂YOU💞 TUBE VISIONADO-VISIONED 👀 COMPLETO-COMPLETED 💝🤗🎊💛🌳🏞️
One of the classic guitar players (the one on the left) was from the band 10cc, can't remember his name.
Lol creme. He still works with Trevor now. They're good pals
Who is the lead guitarist
Who’s the Smiley guy on guitar on left as you look?
Lol Creme. Used to be in 10CC
@@timmy4wimmy thanks
As well as Godley and Creme. The two of them were great pioneers in music video production.
Good old Lol Creme from 10cc/ Godley and Creme in there as well
