Thanks for the info I was going to go with the super lug rear tires on my mower as well. I'm in the same boat as you are. Everyone's telling me it's going to tear my yard up but I don't see it on your yard.
    Thanks again you sold me

Just got a pair of those tires. Hope I get similar results. My hill isn't as steep, but am using it for snow plowing on my driveway. Thanks for the review!

I bought a new CC XT1 xl42 this year and I know what you are saying. I have a similar steep yard that I have to mow downhill only. But when you can't get back up, even dry, the math doesn't work out. My rear engine Snapper had no problems for years with turf tires, maybe the rear weight. I've watched a few YT videos about this and yours is the best. Thanks for that! One complaint I have is the hydro drive pedal. I try to use it with toe and the heel at the same time as a rocker pedal. Foot gets tired very fast. Thinking about an easy warrantee safe fix. I'll watch some more of your videos later. Thanks again.

If you have hillside for a lawn then they will be an improvement... or if you're going to be pulling a trailer...

I have a set of these and MaxAuto ATV tires for the front I had them mounted the work excellent can climb hills I’ve never dreamed of climbing now. The only downside is older folks seem to not get why I put these on.

Turf tires aren't worth a crap. Now they put R4 tires on most subcompact and up tractors, they aren't worth a crap either. The R1's are the ones to go with. thanks MD for another great video, I watch 'em all and have all your books.

Mike c I agree with you I got R4 tires on a new b2650 and they are worthless compared to an R1 even on dry ground

I have that tractor and those tires. It's really light in the rear end. Adding rear weights will help a lot. Cub Cadet sells a rear weight kit.

Or fill the tires 60-70% with beat juice.

Have you noticed these tearing up your yard any? I just ordered a set for my garden tractor and I've been a bit worried about them messing up my grass.

The factory rears on my LX42 are 20x8-8. Did you put 20x8-8 ag tires on or 20x10-8?

What model Cub Cadet do you have? I just bought an XT1 for my property and the brakes failed.

I saw the model sticker on it in his video from a year ago; it's an LX42 (part of the XT2 series)
