Well Volvo , you have new working operating machine for the jobs on site, it's a brilliant idea for the future well done Volvo again

Agreed. I am thinking also that with the counterweight extended, I'll be LOSING lifting capacity with the articulation cranked all the way over, as the weight will be off to the side, in a sense. Seems like it, anyway. It's like I'd want the counter weight to swing away from the direction of articulation, instead of staying lined up with the machine.
    maybe....

@ipagoom the active counterweight would be a huge liability for any operator working in close confines. I can't imagine working and area and NOT knowing EXACTLY where the counterweight is going to be or how far away I am gonna be from a truck, excavator, signboard, or joint of rcp when articulating my loader. 2 inches sometimes means the difference between a productive day and a 2 check day

self leveling suspension is quite old thing.
wonder why it is not already there?

I don't think that the future electric motors will be brushed in theese areas of use.
Lower maintainence and more reliable with brushless design.
The mud going into the motors is easily avoided by covering the wheelsides.
I can't see any gain, except maybe cooling, in having the motors exposed.
It's still just a concept and I don't think the end product will look much like that.

@tigeroll haha you think they could make that for a $100 000? for that you'd be getting a 1995 hyundai think closer to a million for this thing

i like the wheel design but i think there is a prob in the design. what happens when mud pebbles and other small objects get into the wheel well and get carried up into the motor. see look at 1:56 (time) the gap between the wheel well and the motor when they go threw mud and it finds it way up onto the wheel well it will get into the motor and cause things to break slow down over heat and all the other bad things mud dose to electric motors. also if the motor is not brush less it will cause the.

A good operator would laugh at this

its fun to see people saying they would be willing to drop 100k for on of these...
100k would probably be enough for the whole thing without the engine and batteries...
If you want the best, you'll have yo pay for it ;)

looks like any normal loader just futuristic look, the electric motors are already in use in those huge mining trucks.

We have the Sphinx, we have the centaur, we have the fenix , we have this, now we need a grader or something

If the animation is accurate then the ride is going to be uncomfortable as the loader leans out of the corner. If anything, The suspension should be actively pushing away from the roll.

quite =? y would i wont that and taking out the diesel would also cause u to lose some of the counter wait

barrings to break and cause the motor to run slow cause heat and eventually break.

Loaders can't have suspension this will not be a grading machine this will be a asphalt only machine this machine will not be good for loading trucks either they will be likely the most common flipped-over machine on the market vagabond
