This just goes to prove that Zack Snyder was the blueprint for the DC brand. Nobody can do it as good as him. Even with Superman's downfall through the Justice League, he would be redeemed and come back as a force for good with powers after helping to defeat Darkseid. The story will continue once WB loses the company to debt and is forced to sell DC rights to either Universal or Netflix. I am in no way going to watch or support any of Gunn's trashy, Marvelesque, pathetic, and worthless movies. I'd rather put my hand on top of a stove.
Warner bros fires and drives away the very directors that they later say they will emulate.

I’m enjoying how the suits get and roasted online. Warner brothers didn’t listen to the audience we wanted Cavill and we got a knock off version and the suit I’m sorry but it sucks. And that poll, says it all. The audience wanted Cavill and we still do.

I think the Snyder Superman suit just looks like right from the comics.
Which comics exactly? Because it looks nothing like his 1938 suit, his golden age suit, or his silver age suit, nor his pre-crisis or post-crisis suits, or Christopher Reeves suit, or the Dark Knight Returns suit, or the Kingdom Come Suite. So which suit are you talking about??

Haha yea that poll is crazy! I've heard from people who disliked MOS say Snyder ruined dc. But I have always wondered in numbers how many people liked Mos vs people who disliked. This poll feels like the sort of numbers I expected with most people liking it and it actually being a loud minority who dont.
Conclusion made on what? Just some picture? This isn't a fair comparison putting in mind that we haven't even seen the suit in action.

Yea, this is definitely the first time that even the people who were most hyped for the DCU are having to admit maybe it won't be what they thought. It can't satisfy everyone and a lot of the talk about this movie has been contingent on that impossible premise.

There are some websites and bloggers saying that the pic itself wasn't a promotional pic, it was just a random pic taken from a set. So that's not "THE" suit as It will look way different in the trailer / movie... What do y'all think?

And yes, the absolute best thing that ever happened to the DCEU is becoming DCU and firing Zack Snyder who can't make a comic book film not if his life depended on it, like bro is completely ignorant on the source material and thinks DC is some Greek Mythology of Gods for Superheroes.

🚨 Let us break this photo down. (Gunn confirmed the picture of the suit is in camera and has not gone through any post):
I believe the pink sphere in the picture is Solaris. Gunn is inspired by All Star Superman: I believe Solaris was one of the villains in All Star Superman. Solaris has injured Superman and have blocked the yellow sun while fighting Superman; this is wear the damage on suit came from. I see a green light striking Solaris in the picture as well. Superman may be injured and weaken from the first fight. Green Lantern and others are distracting Solaris while Superman recovers. Solaris is overcoming the other heroes and weakened, Clark Kent witnesses they need his help. They need Superman.
⭐️ In this picture, a weakened Superman is putting on his boots for round 2, he beaten and injured but he is preparing suit back up to fight Solaris, who is blocking the sun, all odds are against Clark but he is the beacon of hope; he is Superman. Now in this photo Superman is preparing to give his all to save the other heroes and the world.
⭐️ I recently rewatched All Star Superman. Solaris and Lex plays a big part; and, I believe the other in heroes are replacing the fortress of solitude robots to fight Solaris.

I want to add, in the comic or animated movie of “All Star Superman,”Superman needs help from his robots to combat Solaris; Lex get power and is working with Solaris:
1. Well in the image James release you see a green light beam striking top of Solaris.
2. Instead of the robot, this is why you need all the other heroes; they replace his robots and are an integral part of the overall story. (Gunn said this)
3. Lex will probably trick the Engineer in finding the fortress. (Remember, there we report during the time of the Crest reveal, the Engineer was in the snow with Superman. She probably found the fortress of solitude and something to give Lex powers; and Lex some way made a deal with Solaris.
4. Gunn is taking inspiration from the New 52, All Star Superman and Superman All Seasons.
5. 🚨 Gunn should had waited and run the photo through post production before releasing to the public. (I think he released the photo without post because the media may get a bad picture.
Henry Cavill's suit got the highest score?!?!? That's absurd! Superman's uniform is SUPPOSED to be colourful and bright. He's the light piercing the darkness. The world is going to chaos and then you see those bright colours in the distance, rushing in the save the day? It fills you with hope, confidence and inspires courage! I really dislike the darker uniforms because they make him look boring and dull. Heck even his uniform in Superman and Lois looks far better than Cavill's uniform! Why? Because it's bold and colourful both in statement and tone. It's simplistic yet is a bastion and pillar of hope to all who see it. It's not meant to be shiny and complicated because he is CLARK KENT first and SUPERMAN second! I was so disappointed when I saw this image because, once again, it's all dull and bland. To quote Clark "The suit doesn't make the hero. A hero's made in the moment by the choices that he makes and the reasons that he makes them. A hero brings out the best in people."
Henry Cavill was okay but I'm not in love with him and his Trail of the character like most people are. Personally I prefer Brandon Routh but that's just me and I think he's kind of aged out of the role at this point that was the only problem but I don't know maybe not.
I liked Brandon routh, I don't see why he couldn't plan an older superman. Or even die his hair. He doesn't look that old imo.
@@holdmydualshock I had heard that they had considered making a limited series with his version of Superman after his appearance on the CW shows where he showed up there there was supposedly a really good response to him so I don't know where any of that ever went though but I would be on board to watch it

Hell Zack's Superman Suit is as dark as hell. Superman should be more bright!! It's not Darkman we want to watch it's supose to be Superman. No wonder Warner Brothers went into a New Direction.

The phot to Gunn's Superman suit is cheap looking and since the announcement and with all the bad business executions, there's no way the department who developed the suit has as much talent as those who worked on Cavill's suit.

Interesting take, what are your thoughts on the poll? When speaking with other fans one of the reoccurring points I'm hearing is that the suit is trying to do too much. It's trying to mash together 4 different concepts in an attempt to appease everyone. Almost as though the movie is desperate to be "the definitive Superman movie" which people say is echoed in the changing of the name from Superman Legacy to just Superman. A sentiment, I am hearing from DC fans who hated the Snyder portrayal.
Side note I saw your profile pic and the music equipment so checked out your channel. Loved the music on your trailer. I am South African and it reminded me of the chill drum and bass spots we would hang out in after uni. 👍 good stuff
@@holdmydualshock All I can say is, it's just too soon for a comparison. There's only one reveal of the suit. We've not seen it in action yet. At least let's see a trailer or the movie itself first, then it will be a fair comparison. Secondly, Cavill's Superman is kind still recent, so there's a whole lot of high expectations for the DCU if it will meet up to standards. People have high hopes. When Man of steel came, it was one of it's kind, people immediately see it as a topnotch movie with a lot of standard, nothing you could really compare him with at that moment that will stand. So it's different now when David corenswet is Superman, everybody already see MOS superman as undefeated.
