I reaaly thank you for this clear information. I was confused about tradelenburg gait. Sometimes i made a mistake which side hip drop and what muscle should we strengthen? Thanks to you i understand the topic now 👍🏻
Hi i have a question. If my right leg is shorter than the other and my pelvic level when walking. Is that compensated tredenleburg and my right glute med is weak? It really hard to see if i lurch forward the right side or not
Good question. If you are dealing with a leg length discrepancy, your torso will tilt to allow your longer leg to clear the floor. Your muscles aren't the problem. Depending on the size of the length difference, you can look into wearing a heel lift in your shorter shoe. Or you can get special shoes made where one sole will have more height than the other. You can visit a physical therapist or orthopedist for more guidance. Good luck!
@@MemorizeMedical i had a habit stay balance on my left leg. I barely balance on my right leg. I think my body cannot tranfer force to the ground through my right leg as i never train it. I got leg length discrepancy after 1 year of fast running
@@trungvinh6701 Running isn't a common reason to develop a leg length discrepancy. It most commonly occurs after a break/surgery or is congenital. There may be something else going on to create such a tilt, but an expert would have to take a look.
It depends on the cause. The usual goal is to try to strengthen the gluteus medius through exercise. You can see a physiotherapist for assistance in that case.

So the stance leg is always the weak side?
Yes, if you see a contralateral hip drop or ipsilateral trunk lean to the stance leg.
