Everything about the Apollo program is a testament of what an entire nation of people working together, military and private sector, can achieve in the goal to overcome all odds and make the impossible a reality. Every aspect of the program has always had a captivating aura to me. The amount of multifaceted dedication and effort that went into it is quite remarkable, producing some of my favorite documented moments of man working together in space, with the culmination of the effort of all involved in Apollo (and previous programs) being man and machine in a daring yet carefully calculated sequence of events that, in the moment, was one small step for man, but one giant leap for mankind. Idk what it is. The Apollo program is just has something (many things) about it that make it my favorite achievement of mankind to always want to know more and see footage that I haven’t yet seen. The quality of these transfers is superb. Thank you for presenting them in their pure form without destructive editing. The conversion quality really is very good with these. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed! I was actually intending to request some footage from Apollo 9 - I recently saw some edited camera views supposedly from the launch in multiple documentaries and NASA films, and the lighting is fantastic. I'll probably get on that after the completion of my next project: Apollo 17 Launch: Remastered, and then A9 will come as well as some miscellaneous stuff. Edit (12.3.2023): The first set of A9 footage is on my list, I'll be requesting it in January after the second half of A17

For those who are interested, the lightning is almost exactly at 2:48 in the video.
why would they launch in a thundershower?
Really good stuff. Will you be eventually posting film from the Apollo 9 or 10 launches?
