My pleasure. I look forward to reviewing more Hodinkee collabs. The Unimatic California dial was tremendous and the Timex is in line for review. Keep me in mind for future content.
@@hammondwatch2808 Awesome, will do! Thanks for your kind words on the UNIMATIC, that one was fun. The Timex was my favorite design of the year, I hope you enjoy it!
Would have been nice. I think if hamilton adopted 150m wr with a screw crown for their field watches people would pay $150 more without a second thought.
Awesome watch! Congrats on the pickup.
Thanks Sam!
I wish Hamilton will issue this in 36mm like a true reissue and 100m WR, plus brushed finish instead of the blasted finish
Thanks for your review and feedback, appreciate it!

Screw down crown should be standard on all field/dive watches. Really all watches should have them what is the downside?
The only downside is for the manufacturer. It adds complication and expense to the manufacturing process and provides more room for QC error.
I’d suggest downsides are ease of daily winding (a manual movement) and, potentially, less wear and tear.
less convient when winding up the watch
Under 100m water resistance for a field watch is a no go for me. Such a shame it’s a badass looking watch
