- In this video, I talk about who would be on my dream cast of Survivor: Legends. I do plan on continuing on with this season for other season themes I have already done in the past.

the abbey show I love Courtney but she probably doesn’t cut it on a legends season even if I think that’d be absolutely amazing and cause on a legends season the cast would be filled to the brim with HVV players and she isn’t as big as Sandra, Cirie, Jerri and Parv

Honestly the only legends season I would want to see become a real season. There are enough non-winning legends to make a great cast of people who deserve another shot and at the same time it guarantees a non-winning legend a win.

-Switching the winners with the fallen angels in every final tribal (winners are now fallen angels, fallen angels are with OG runner ups) and you say how you think the votes would be distributed. It’s a long one but such an interesting concept.

Taylor Perry it was very difficult leaving off Ozzy, as he has always one of my favorites. Overall, I ended up going with Malcolm over Ozzy, as I feel when it comes to them, they share a lot of similarities of course, but I feel Malcolm is the better overall player. But I really don’t think you could go wrong either way.

I like seeing your dream cast and can't wait for fallen angel rankings and would love to see you rank the players from every season and do more with US Survivor since I don't and can't watch international Survivor
I believe that Ozzy is way more of a legend than Jeremy, plus you could possibly have the dynamic of him and Amanda, and him and Coach, and him and Parvati, and him and Yul
And him and Sophie, and him and Cirie. I mean he has ties to most of the people in this cast, and it would be interesting to see how some of those relationships would turn out, out there

Russell hantz said before s40 was going be all winners it was going be a legends and he was asked to play so him and production are in good terms
can you do a cast full of people on productions bad side? or just a run down of all the players who a return is warranted but production wouldn’t do it?
I don’t think you could get a whole season’s worth. It’s not that hard to avoid pissing off the powers that be; there are really only a few who both can’t help themselves and have a loud enough megaphone for the network to care.

Personally, I think Adam earned his spot as a legend in WaW. Not the best run, but I think the podium move was such a big move, despite it failing, plus his MvGX game would warrant him a legendary status
I would love Yau-Man, but he is really old now. I don't think they would bring him back, and he would be first boot because of challenge strength, but hold up, actually, he would be good at puzzles. They would know not to let him make the merge.

I would pay big bucks to see Yul play again
I feel like a legends season would be the season where they have the best international players play against the US legends. Rob Bentele, Werner, Jericho, Pia, Lisa, etc. are all players who I would love to see play against the US legends and could likely hold their own ground with no trouble.

I believe that FairPlay said relatively recently, in the last few years, that he’s on good terms with production. I still don’t think he’ll come back, I can’t think of another season where he’ll fit unless it’s Old players v New players, but he isn’t fully out of contention.

The good thing about a legends season is that the majority of the cast will be old school players in Winners at War every old school player got taken out one by one but with a legends season there are gonna be less new school since some are good players like Aubry or Malcolm but they aren’t exactly legends so now I think it’s def possible an old school player will win a legends season

No harm in daydreaming I suppose, but this talk of a "Legends" season seems pointless to me, for a number of reasons:
1. Now that there's been an all winners season, you're never going to find an even more competitive field.
2. Three all-star seasons in the last ten, versus two out of the first thirty? Too many trips back to the well. You'll have to wait quite a long time before another will feel special, and by then . . .
3. The greatest appetite is for old-timers, but they're fast aging out of consideration, if they haven't already. They're not going to cast a season dominated by people over fifty; and if you only bring in a handful of old-timers, they'll get whupped by the newer players again, as they did in S40. Since this is all make-believe I suppose you could imagine the old-timers are time-displaced back to when they were each at their prime, but that's such a wild fantasy you might as well bring back the dead players while you're at it. (Ru-dy! Ru-dy! Ru-dy!)
4. Kind of repetitive from the last point, but I do think it bears repeating: S40 set this precedent for an inter-generational rivalry. This would quickly suck all the air out of the room.
5. After S40 so many of the giants made it explicitly clear that they're done. The greatest of the non-winners, Cirie, said the same thing after S34. So many of the legends have passed on. (In a metaphorical sense; they haven't died, of course. Except for Rudy, but he was like two hundred years old.)
6. For those who've been out of the game for a long time and have been chomping at the bit to get back in, I feel like it would be nothing but a vanity project for them, and would generate very little interest. I almost pity many of them as they keep trying to bask in long-ago glory.
7. I really think there should be a three-season cap on the number of times people can play. After that they rapidly hit a point of diminishing returns and stop being fun to watch. (Yes, Rob finally got his win his fourth time around, but while many fans were happy for him, no one actually enjoyed watching it; and if we're being brutally honest, he really only won because things were heavily stacked in his favor.)
8. There's no consensus on who is and is not a legend. There are a few people that would be relatively uncontroversial, but nowhere near enough to fill a cast, and you can't help but invite scrutiny of why casting zigged instead of zagged that will detract mightily from the magic of the moment. It's always been this way: S8 had some pretty dubious choices for all-star status, even when they were drawing from a much smaller pool (though some of the lesser lights wound up being among the most successful, including the final three). S34 felt like a random jumble of legacy players resting on their laurels and forgettable obscurities, only a few of whom could claim to have changed the game at all. Both the Favorites tribes included people who didn't qualify as favorites; one could argue that the S26 tribe didn't include anyone who _did._ Even S20 didn't manage to avoid this trap: Sugar wasn't anyone's hero!
Only S31 and S40 managed to overcome this. S31 because, while there certainly wasn't consensus among viewers that anywhere close to everyone belonged, the transparency of the casting process is hard to argue with; and S40 because, while I could name a handful of players whom I wished had been traded out for other winners (and others whom I wished had never won at all), everyone had already cleared a very high bar to get there. But "legend" doesn't have the same strict criteria as "winner," and even if casting is done by electoral politics as it was in S31, you're opening it up to grumbling that some people only got canonized as legendary through popular publicity stunts. Either way, a Legends season couldn't possibly live up to the hype.
I love Cestrinino, but I don’t think he’s a legend. He was great on the show, but he is so big because of the podcast. I think you should’ve had Rupert, Ozzy, Penner, Tyson, or JT over him and Yul. I also think that you should’ve had Stephanie on over Kathy or Sophie. Great video!

@@BC-fx2ythe was in the dominant spot in the red tribe. When tribes were split into 3 he got removed from his alliance. Then when voted out it was by 3 people who were friends before the game.
