Yeah bb24 is the worst first week by a country mile. That week really sucks the fun out of the season and really solidifies the extremely miserable tone that is very prominent for the rest of the season, as from the Paloma situation on, everything gets serious, and it is just so obvious that nobody is having fun, and despite the good outcome that is Taylor winning, the extremely miserable tone that surrounds the path to that outcome makes Taylor’s story not as enjoyable as what it could’ve been.
BB24 is the epitome of a season where no one is having fun and everyone is so miserable throughout it, and week one really shows how miserable it is
Completely disagree, I think that the turmoil at the beginning makes her win that much more impactful tbh. But to each their own. Still the worst first week though

@425v-sI wouldn't knock her too much for the 12-0 statistic since it's not like all 12 people wanted her out. They were just voting with the house. Also it was kind of unlucky that she ended up on the block in the first place. Michael was Daniel's initial target and he won veto, and the girls girls actually weren't intending to evict Taylor immediately. Their bias against her spread to Pooch who pushed Daniel to put her up. Paloma was most likely going home anyway because of the backstage twist, which is just another unprecedented twist but still, Taylor was never leaving. It's for the best because while it technically would've been "fair" for her to be the first boot, I think it's safe to say her treatment was bizarre and undeserved. To me that first week is kind of a wash when it comes to analyzing her gameplay. A tier player, lower mid tier winner.
@425v-s Taylor was never going home at final 8, the replacement nominee was always going home that week (it probably would've been Monte if Kyle didn't get exposed)
I still think 19 is the worst first week, then 14 & 18 in 2nd & 3rd
I used to talk to Braden on Twitter during BB15. He used to live tweet during the show. He did mention that he apologized for the incident.

Bb24 is easily one of the best weeks lol, Paloma really made this week and actually made the feeds

Well, even if you like Paloma, I still found it rather upsetting that so many houseguests like Monte were just going along with everything Paloma was telling them. Mob mentality is so lame.
Agreed, I thought the ending was really satisfying and paralleled the whole season very well with Taylor overcoming the odds
@@zachary3492 EXACTLY. It was Taylor’s karma and even despite that Paloma was such a messy player that I literally could not stop watching feeds to see how she’s going to flip the house or what insane thing she’s going to do next.
Idk if you did this yet but the most influential week of every BB season would be a great vid I’d love to watch
here's my thing about the jackson situation. obviously everyone gets all up in arms about how he put up the old guy and 3 minorities, but when you look at it from an objective standpoint, cliff and jessica campaigned against him for camp director, kemi never approached him unlike every other houseguest, and he wanted to send david in to ensure one of the other 3 got evicted (which failed but that's besdies the point.) he had a logistical reason to send all of them in, so I actually don't care about his picks there.

What's crazy is that, if he does wait until S50, then assuming we don't get any returnees in S47-49 (ex. a Bruce situation) and that he counts Wanda and Jonathan from Palau, he would need to rank a total of 751 players, as there are currently 697 players and S47-49 should be 18 players each.
For reference, the Big Brother ranking video is a total of 7:52:19, and that covered "only" 312 players. If the video scales the same (which tbf it probably won't considering the fact that there is generally more to talk about with early BB boots compared to early Survivor boots who go under-edited thanks to the live feeds), then the total ranking would be roughly 18:56:53.
Also, just imagine being compared to 751 people and being placed last in a video willing to go more in-depth than your average "who's the worst player ever" post. Even breaking the Top 100 would have to be an achievement, especially for anyone who isn't a returnee player or a winner. Would poorly-regarded winners like Underwood and Bob even break the 100? We saw in the BB that even the worst winners made it far, but I don't think any of them sat out the majority of the game like Underwood.
@@greywater57 see a lot of it is also editing like where do you rank someone like Erika or Nathalie white when they’re under edited itd be interesting to see though
@@ramblingrandomthings I imagine he will utilize what information has been gathered out of game as far as he can tell, as we saw as recently as his Top 10 New Era Players ranking that he really has turned around on Erika as a player. Back in his S41 power rankings he had her way down at 5th, which even now is the lowest any winner has ranked in any of his season player rankings by a large margin (I don't believe any other winner has been below 2nd place in their winning season), yet in that video Erika was the highest-placed S41 player and 4th overall (albeit this was only covering S41-44, I imagine certain players like Dee and Charlie may have pushed her lower).
But yeah, I agree in the sense that he might be a lot faster with a good number of players, like the unmemorable early boots, than he was with even some of the quieter BB players. This may also favor more recent seasons in which information is perhaps more openly available, but I already think that newer players will generally place higher due to more of them having a better sense of the game and its mechanics.
All stars is a bit too high for me - the first couple of weeks made me stop watching BB altogether LOL. But good video overall

In BB15 there's the wine party segemnt with someone stealing it that can sour/sweeten it
It would be interesting for you to rank every final 8 round(before buybacks????), as it has some of the most interesting weeks in BB history.
