    I'm new to airgunning and I learned quite a bit from this video. Since my guns are new I've yet to go beyond 10 pumps, I'll have to give 15 pumps a try.

      There is quite a jump in velocity from 10 to 15 pumps.

      Just remember to apply 2 drops of silicone oil to the piston in the pump tube to do more pumps. It helps alot.

      You are after at 15 or less. The 22 kicks pretty good at that level. Pistols are cheap enough to take a blow out risk.

    • @johnnybbgunner2136
      @johnnybbgunner2136 2 года назад +2

      Go to 12 and let us know if you notice the difference. It will not hurt your pistol one bit.
      Cheap Air Guy pumps them up all the way to 30 with no blowouts.

    I've got a 1322 with a RW valve and heavy hammer spring and boss t/f port, 14.5" barrell shooting 14.3 g crosman hollow points 628 fps. I replaced the roll pin with a stainless steel one and I shimmied it on the outside of the pump arm with tiny washers and no more slop in the pump arm. With the RW valve you can pump 30x if you want to and get 650 fps. But I'm not gonna put that much effort into it.

      @@cheapairgunner1966 I love my pumpers but after about 15 shots I'm done....lol...I dont know why I dont mind pumping the Diana bandit with a hand pump but it only takes 37 pumps and then you get about 30 good shots with no pumping between shots. 30 power shots on the 1377/1322s takes 300+ pumps and I'd rather do 37 than 300, but I usually do co2 and I have 8- co2 powered pellet rifles at the moment and 4- pumpers a break barrel and a PCP pistol.i shoot the. 177 diana chaser and. 22 cal 2240 fully modified the most...they are the most accurate ones I have at the moment.

  • @johnnybbgunner2136

    I always said that just by pumping it too 12-15 would break the 525 fps. You can feel the difference from the pistol and how the pellet hits the target.
    Nice numbers for stock.

    Since watching this video a few months ago I've added the Crosman 1399 rifle stock, steal breach, 14.6" barrel and a Buck-Rail suppressor and I bought a chronograph from Amazon a week ago and finally got around the checking velocity. My 1322 rifle is shooting 494 fps with 12 pumps and 14.3g Crosman Hollow Points, 448 fps with 10 pumps and 17g Ruger Superpoints and 535 fps with 10 pumps and 10.3g Skenco Hyper Velocity pellets. My next 1322 project will feature a 24" barrel for even more velocity. I'm hoping to get to 600 fps/8fpe without major modifications. I don't hunt and don't believe in killing animals for sport but I'd have no problem with pest control and want to make sure my guns and I are capable of 1 shot kills which is so important when you have to pump your gun for a follow up shot.

    Looks like you've pumped out some vids on working on this gun. I'm playing catch up on vid watching. That's too much pumping to work on that, lol. I honestly thought about getting one but not sure if my hands will even let me pump it. A lot of days I can't even break my break barrel more than a few times and my shoulder pops out so I'm done and nursing it for a few days, lol.

      Pumped out the vids and pumped up that gun! Sorry to hear about your condition not allowing you to enjoy pumpers. All the same principles I’m using can be applied to most guns, CO2 included, as far as the valve modding goes, anyway.

      @@cheapairgunner1966 I thought about modding the valve on Dads pumper he gave me, I was just going to thin down the stem a bit for more air capacity. I just swapped the valve and was done with it and it still jumped 100 fps from where the factory valve was running. Can't complain about that, lol. I still recouping from the last video, we had a really nice day and I took advantage of it, now I'm trying to get nerves worked loose and joints to quite throbbing and popping out, lol. I used a sledgehammer to beat the target holder in, my hands are curled din from RA, it didn't hurt when I did it, but wow has it been fun since I woke up the next morning, lol. Just my life, it's how I gotta roll, get it done when you can, lol.

    Hi I'm glad I found this video I just bought my first pellet pistol the 1322 I'm waiting for the basic stock to help me aim better but I really want to learn how to upgrade little at time your instructions was very clear and not to fast. I'm retired from work but always wanted one I hope to tinker from what I learn from your videos. Thnx again for taking the time in detail. I would like to know if there is a blueprint of the 1322 where all items are shown?👍🏾

      Thanks for checking out the videos. It’s a great gun to tinker with. Crosman has a parts diagram for it on their web site. I’ll try posting a link:

    is an increase in the FPS power. Hehe.

    I don't see any Pellgun oil on your table. With as many pumps and shots as you were doing I am sure your numbers would have been better with oil on the seals and pump cup. Maybe you did?

    When I pump to 15 and shoot, the stock internals arent enough to dump all the air, and if I cock the gun again and dry fire, it puffs out about a pumps worth of air. Ive found that 14 pumps is my sweet spot.

    • @johnndavis7647
      @johnndavis7647 Год назад

      That's something to think about.
      It's likely that every gun is going to be different as the seals age.
      I use my pistol to kill critters I catch in live traps as part of my pest control business.
      The gun I have is one I bought cheap at the flea market because it wouldn't pump up.
      I put a teaspoon of 91% alcohol in the plunger assembly and let it sit for a day. Then I dumped out the alcohol and I sprayed silicone oil on the seal and let that soak for a day.
      When I shot the gun.a lot of black gunk came out the barrel the first few shots.
      The gun shoots pretty well now.

    Portability,,that’s why I like them,1322 a lot of power I don’t go over 8/10 pumps,same as 1377 ,,if you can’t pump 2240 all the way. I love Crosman handguns,that grip just feels great in my hand, I hope you enjoy yours,another thing,if I was shooting real guns I would be broke, I almost finished 2nd box of 1250 pellets in .177 ,,.22 more expensive…

      You can’t beat them for mods and power. I will be doing a uncasing of my new 2240Xl this weekend.
