@@ico8272I wish I could witness Anika's interaction with Tal. Undoubtedly, Vinnie is immensely skilled and possesses exceptional drumming abilities, along with a superior drum sound. However, I believe Anika's playing is somewhat hindered by the unappealing cymbals on this terrible Tama set. Having observed both Anika and Vinnie up close on numerous occasions, I can attest that Anika's proximity to Vinnies greatness is underestimated.

Favorite clip of this wonderful tune. I've seen clips of Beck doing this with very capable drummers, but they were so busy demonstrating their chops that they forgot to inhabit the spirit of the song. Nilles does that.
An amazing performance..so incredibly in tune with each other. Jeff Beck pulling notes out of the ethereal, letting his band shine..just incredible the dynamics I watched in this clip!!!

That would be John McLaughlin, of whom Jeff Beck (R.I.P.) once said is "the best guitarist alive". (And yes, a couple have mentioned the Mahavishnu Orchestra...But not the greatest living guitarist and composer of this piece- John McLaughlin!)

It is amazing to see how Jeff was so alive, strong, energetic only few months before hus sudden health decline and death😢😢 Unfortunatelly these days all western countries are experiencing excess death, across all ages, 10-20% above the long term average!!?? Every western country refuses to look into that " phenomena" that started in early 2021. What has changed then..💉in AUS, UK, CAN, US, EU ?? 💣💉
