@@WelcomeToBigpatssportstalk What I loved was you appreciate not only the players on offense around the QB but what having a top D does for a QB by turning the ball back to him so he gets opportunities.Josh Allen throws the most ints in the last three years but his D is top 5 and keeps giving him the ball back.Even Tommy Cutlets had 13 turnovers in three games from his defense which made his job that much easier.Most fans don't get context you do.

You forget we said this EXACT SAME THING LAST YEAR. We said this is the best talent DJ has ever had and this will be the test of his ability. We gave him Waller we gave him Hyatt we were singing his praises saying he had everything he needed for a deep playoff run. That was the narrative around Jones And 5 minutes into the first game we already blaming his line and his talent and everything but him it’s ridiculous we do this every year with Daniel. He’s the problem. We are a laughing stock AROUND THE LEAGUE because of this kid and you wanna keep him? Give him ANOTHER year to embarrass us? Absolutely not this has to stop. In the first game last season DJ came out confident then the false start happened and our season went to shit. We had all those linemen that didn't work out that tells you it was the coaching. Good things are about to happen.

The Giants failed to protect DJ up front and they never got another decent partner to help Slayton and Barkley. Pat Shurmur had DJ throwing the ball deep to Slayton when they were rookies. Daboll has yet to replicate that.

2 things can and will happen. (1) Daniel Jones' replacement can be drafted (2) a #1 WR can be drafted. Schoen has to properly vet the WR choices and be smart about QB as well.

With Nabers recent dinner with the giants and pro day I would be very disappointed if we didnt take him at 6 or atleast Odunze. People forget Daboll was brought here to see if he can help Jones develop, we see him do that and enter his prime under Daboll, winning a road playoff game with practice squad receivers and they want to quit after a bad year where he only played 6 games behind one of the worst Oline's in history. Even if Jones isn't the future, stick with him for now and build a winning roster.

You are right to an extent. But all the teams those two beat were teams DJ handled last year. Take Green Bay for instance. In '22 we beat an Aaron Rogers led Packers. Do you really think Taylor or Devito could have beat the Cardinals at that time or hung in there against the 49ers for 3qtrs?

DJ and Barkley have never had a good offensive line. Slayton has been the only receiver aside from Shep when he was healthy that drew attention away from Barkley. Now Saquon plays for the Eagles and the fanbase is still dumping on DJ.
Kyle Rudolph is right though, get the QBs another target to go with Slayton, Hyatt and Robinson. Fix the defense so they can actually stop the run and get off the field.
