- Dan and Nick are joined by PFF college football analyst and the host of the PFF College Football show Max Chadwick to break down the NFL Draft. Max dives into several players the Giants should target as value picks specifically on Day 2 of the draft, including some of his favorite sleepers based on the tape on the offensive line, at cornerback and more. They also break down the RB position and why a loaded 2025 RB class may alter how Joe Schoen approaches drafting RB (or not) in 2024.

Trying to comeback and like the youtube shows even though I listen on the podcast app. Thanks for all the great content and thoughtful analysis.

Very interesting !
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
imho
Giants trade back(11-18)
& draft a CB
Good show Chadwick was great. Help me understand your views on PFF… you often are heavily critical of PFFs ratings. What do you think PFF does well and what do they do poorly? Looking forward to the draft. Best regards, Victor
I’m all for taking Alt at 6. Taking a deep threat receiver with a below average line and a QB that doesn’t throw downfield well doesn’t help this team.
Hey Guys great show as usual👍. Can we stop thinking that LTs can just shift to the right side? I'm a professional fitness trainer twenty years. As good as Alt is switching sides is like a right-handed person told to sign their name with the left hand. It is extremely difficult. If he trained both sides simultaneously while in HS or college that's solves the question.
Graham Barton I'd put at center, (yeah, I know, I didn't forget Schimitz) the athleticism of a tackle at CENTER🤯! At the least the Giants would have a super utility O-Lineman💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿.
My Mock Draft:
R. Odunze WR Wash
M. Penix QB Wash
C. Haynes OG UConn
M. Sanristril DB Mich
J. Hunt Edge Hous. Cri.
B. Synnott TE Kan
🤔🤨🤔🤨🤔🤨
Fair point on Alt and tackles in general. But a majority of good tackles in college play the left side though and have to switch to right side in NFL. I believe Alt came to ND as a TE so obviously has the ability to learn quickly and his elite athleticism and agility should allow him to make the adjustment. I’m just disgusted with the Oline as I’m sure u r as well. And I really don’t think the line is even up to an average level yet, unless the new Oline coach is some kind of Oline whisperer could be another disaster.
Thought Tracy was my sleeper RB but he is never gonna last to where well take em if people keep bringing him up.
The defensive class overall isn't that amazing this year but CB & iDL is quite good I think. CB especially is very deep
After all our OL struggles I won’t complain if they take Alt. Also - god forbid - what if AT gets hurt again
I do think he'll be a good pro most likely (especially if he gets with a good coach) but I would complain because he's overrated imo. Ceiling is Kolton Miller but he's not close to that yet, he can get there in 2-3 years and he won't be an elite type guy, just really good at his best how I project him
Well for one it would be a huge red flag if AT gets hurt again but I don’t think it should be what we spend our 1st pick on tbh. For that draft a swing tackle in the later rounds, 1st round we should be looking for Starters
Need alt. Want nabers , MHJ. Could we possibly keep the 6th, trade up for the 3 or 4th, and get MHJ/Nabers for a first next year, Kayvon..
Well end up with alt / maye or alt/MHJ/nabers
we don't need Alt. Giants got a starting LT & RT on the roster. Plus Evan Neal, whatever value he brings lol
Joe Alt has been my # 1 choice for the football 🏈 Giants all along. All pro candidate for a ten year period. Then the Giants will have a legitimate offensive line. Joe will transition to right tackle without any problem. Giants turned down Zach Martin.
And anybody who is mad about can watch the giants from the last 10 years.
Why do so many Giant fans forgot about the Eluemunor signing. Dude is a legit RT. A team shouldn't spend a top 10 pick on OT unless they need a LT. And many of you suggest taking Alt & have him switch sides, same thing they did with Neal.
