Shouldn't come as a surprise, but I agree with you so much here, Pat.. Especially your response to that guy acting like we're complete fools for not taking just any ol' QB in the 1st round, then in the next breath saying it's a good thing McCarthy went to the Vikings INSTEAD of the Giants since it's an actual GOOD situation he'll be coming into.. So they acknowledge a 1st round QB going to the Giants as the team sat in the early evening of 4/25/2024 would be practically set up for failure, but they wanted us to select one top 6 anyways because they had us going QB in all their Mock Drafts? I'd like them to explain how bringing in the supposed 4th or 5th "Best" QB prospect in the Draft to THIS team with a very questionable Offensive Line (To say the absolute least) and No #1 WR makes us significantly better and garantees us a way Brighter Future? Or ask other fans how giving up more than a Kings Ransom in order to move up a few spots to take a QB (Which would have pretty much made it impossible to effectively adress things that need to be addressed in the Draft) would've been a definite smart move? Drake Maye might be a Star, but on the other hand he might not be.. The Pats said "No Thanks" anyways, so he was never meant to be our QB regardless of how badly some fans wanted him.

Look I’m not complaining about Nabers. Hell was my #2 prospect I had ranked in this draft. I hate revisionist history but here’s how the Giants could’ve went and been stronger. 6 Mcarthy ,47, Wr Mitchell , trade back at 3 rd pick grab TJ Tampa or khyree Jackson for CB, then take hicks S and with the extra pick acquired in the 4th we would’ve had a shot at Theo Johnson as your 4th rounder. Overall I believe this could’ve been a better route for us. Let me know what You think.

They got the Nabers pick right. The most explosive wr in the draft at a huge need. Haven’t had one in 6 years before DJ was even drafted. I’d rather have Nabers than reaching for a Tier 2 QB in the top 10. That’s how ppl get fired. Only QBs you should take in the top 6 are ones that will be superstars. Like Burrow, like Allen, like Mahomes, like Stroud, etc.
DJ isn’t elite, but he’s not bad like borderline unplayable. A lot of haters and media forget the OL gave up 85 sacks. Most ever in the modern era. DJ took over 30 sacks in 5 games and took 11 against a bad Seahawks pass rush. Doesn’t matter who you threw back there. Even mahomes couldn’t save them

Big Pat, I don't understand why everyone wants to force a QB on Dabs. If Schoen and Daboll, are comfortable with the QB room, then I'm comfortable. If Dabs, is the QB whisperer, then why not be patient with them bringing in Drew? Tommy won 3 games in the NFL with our roster and DJ won his playoff game in Minnesota. Our fans are so hung up on DJ, that they would rather take an unproven QB, instead of building the team correctly, which Schoen, IMO is doing. The Majority of our fan base wanted Eli gone too, before he won his first SUPERBOWL, remember? This Tim guy is the worst so called fan ever. What is Rich Eisen talking about? Yes Daniel Jones is mid at best, but what diid you want them to do...take another mid QB? Outside of the top three QB prospects, the rest of the bunch are a crapshoot. Giants tried to upgrade and trade for Maye, but the Pats were not budging. So Giants did the smart thing and drafted the best player available. Watch for the Giants to draft a QB next year.
