Wow! Your video has provide a good overview of what is laser sailing and thanks for showing us in a step by step manner. At least now I know how or why the boat can turn😊 you have a good instructor as well, he must have been sailing for a well now😁 very entertaining 😂 and knowledgeable!
Agreed, JY is the best instructor I could get. In fact, i learnt even more while making this video, and listening through his explanation again while editing it.
This brought back memories for me.... last time we kenna forced to go to OBS (Outward Bound School) on Ubin. One of the things was Dinghy Sailing, and these terms and moves are familiarly foreign 🤣😂. Meaning tacking, sail control etc. Even got capsize drill also, same like what u showed in the video... Man, that was so many yrs ago... during the 80s....

@@AlleyCat888 Hahah dunno man, but I remember last time OBS got different tiers and different pricing for packages... I think my school took the most expensive package - got Flying Fox, Advanced Obstacle Course, abseiling (rappelling), rope-bridge walk etc... my fave was Flying Fox, I went 3 or 4 rounds until they say OK OK NO TIME OREDI! NEED TO MOVE ON 😂🤣. The most scary thing to me (at the time) was abseiling cuz I afraid of heights... water activities (Kayaking, Dinghy sailing) not so scared cuz got life jacket, so even cannot swim also won't die 😁😁. But abseiling... miss 1 footing you can tumble down the cliff.... but ya lah got safety ropes and safety officers below all that, but still scared ok.... I was just a 14 yr old kid....
@@foxtwo i can imagine that, even now also scared, not to mention when you're only 14 back then...by the way, I heard that OBS is going to move to a new location soon.
