I've been using game changers on my BFS setup since I got into it 5 years ago. I also throw small flies for trout with fly indicators to make it weight enough to cast. You can also cast streamers very well with the right BFS setup. 👍🏼

You should use a different casting technique, thinner fishing line and a softer rod.

That’s what bait finesse system (BFS) anglers do-cast light lures from sub-1g to 5g with dedicated BFS BC reels. You can also add a 1-3g wt in front of the fly. Peacock Bass love flies where I’m from.
