    10:50 ok I’d be lying if I said I don’t miss crafting. I have not gotten a SINGLE roll exactly how I wanted since they removed crafting but furthermore I need them to introduce crafting to EVERYTHING from FORSAKEN ONWARDS. There are still weapons in comp that I can’t get the roll I want. I want ENLIGHTENED ACTION and DESTABILIZING ROUNDS on LAST season’s Lightweight Auto rifle and it *NOW* costs me 3 rank ups PER GUN?!?!?! If bungie doesnt add full crafting I will never come back. Crafting was the best thing since bungie added the 3rd tree of supers ages ago.
    I don’t even care about aCt 3 at this point. I beat the season and full 50 bonus tiers in less than two weeks. I have 40 days to do NOTHING!!!!! And with crafting GONE and no one seriously willing to TEACH NEW RAIDS my RNG of needing 97 looted clears for vex mythoclast RNG so SO BAD if that’s what I’ve got now regarding what I “need” to do to get the exact roll I want NOPE I quit. I warned you years ago bungie. I’m done with you.

    Back when I could snipe, rusted lands was my favorite map. Now it’s just pulses and scout rifle spam.

      @@FraDestinyexactly my take. Went back in with a shotgun and a 450 auto and I got it done. The teammates I got were very awful though I had guys with like 50cr and 90% loss ratios

      @@robinator117 I got a teammate this weekend who had a 0.02 kd. Genuinely an empty slot on the roster. These low player counts bring out some very interesting team compositions.

    You're spittin ngl. I managed to go flawless this past weekend and wowe was it a horrendous experience. This is coming from someone who has been flawless every week for over a year now and this was easily one of the worst weekends.

    Forcing pve players who ONLY want to play pve into PvP for the newest “best in slot” pve weapon is the sole final straw for me. PvP is INFESTED with cheaters and the sbmm present punished players for racking up a 10KD in mayhem then punished me with no life vcards any other time I try anything other than mayhem. It’s bullshit how there’s only one sbmm for ALL of PvP and it constantly punishes me just because I’m good at mayhem. So all in all I quit destiny 2 entirely because of PvP.
    Please remove PvP bungie. Plus it’s simply outrageous that if I ONLY want to play mayhem I have to wait 6 weeks in between availabilities. How is this FAIR for a PAYING CUSTOMER that YOU HAVE ALREADY STOLEN CONTENT AND MONEY FROM? Fix your game bunjew or watch it burn.

    The weapons have been lame for a while now, most of them are just generic models with Osiris stuff plastered in them; very few have had unique designs or scopes
    Hope they make a huge refresh soon, and also new armor sets

      @@Sohelanthropus The only thing they normally do a good job of is the reticle. A lot of them have that trials logo look to them which I like. But the prophet is a prime example of a rehashed weapon model with no passion behind it

    Imo it all went down hill when they implemented AE and all the movement nerfs to compress the skill gap. Then they added sbmm and buffed everything that's easy to use (you don't need 6 crits on 340s with headseeker and everyone is using that anyway) so bad players can just walz into pvp and "feel like they can compete".
    This weird idea of "fairness" is killing the game because the players they make these changes for don't play pvp regardless but the players who loved pvp are getting fed up with the awful meta. I feel like I'm not even playing destiny anymore but CoD but the nade spam has an elemental flavour. I hate using pulses even though I do well with them and I hate playing against pulses and being forced to also use a pulse if I want to compete or just accept that I won't have a good time with whatever build I'd like to try.
    Anything other than sitting in the back of the map and re-enacting the civil war with firing lines gets punished now (especially on console cause AE is even worse on controller) and according to the last twab, Bungie is totally fine with how pulses are. Idk what they are smoking but it must be strong. I highly doubt most of the pvp strike team even play pvp or they are incredibly bad at it, otherwise they would not make all these asinine changes and then wonder why no one plays pvp anymore.

      Their strike team name is cringe af too. They act like they're doing something when in reality they're not. It's the same group of hot garbage team that doesn't play PVP at all.

      @@mythe6669 I understand your frustration with pulses. But my point in the video is that they have already been nerfed multiple times. They used to 5 crit 1 body all resils and 4 crit 2 body low resils. And they had more range, more aim assist, and less recoil while doing so. And yet handcannons, smgs, and sidearms remained compelling options during those metas. I genuinely think a small buff to smgs that offsets some of the nerfs they’ve received would significantly change this current meta. Something like a small recoil reduction for all smgs but precision frames and a 1 meter range increase for all smgs. I think that would help revive aggressive play styles.

      @@FraDestiny Of course there are multiple factors which is why I brought up AE, sbmm etc. 340s in paricular received quite a number of buffs over the years though, e.g.:
      Their rpm got changed from 320 to 340 so the two burst is faster now than it was back then.
      They did not have headseeker afair.
      They had worse stats (less stability and handling) and more recoil at least in controller (no zen moment and perks like that).
      Their intrinsic perk only activated while crouched and ads-ed while now you can not only stand but even slowly walk around / strafe without losing the extra accuracy.
      What bothers me the most is that Bungie claimed they balance the sandbox around 140 hcs, yet I put myself at a disadvantage using one, even most exotic ones, especially without explosive payload since compared to other weapons pulses barely take flinch while dishing out a lot of it. (Quite easy to see when sniping with Revision cause as a pulse it does not take flinch even in sniper mode.)
      For some reason hc got the flinch they apply reduced while pulses remained untouched and oc snipers can't even dream of hitting a shot these days when being hit by a single sidarm bullet across the map... let alone a pulse / several pulses spamming down a lane.
      All these nerfs are always done in the name of "fairness" to those who "don't understand what happened" aka bad players and it makes me wonder if the devs pushing these changes fall into that category themselves for the most part.
      At the same time extreme ease of use weapons are buffed and constantly made easier to use while in the end also receiving a buff to their ttk to "be competitive". I don't understand nor do I agree that an easy to use weapon should ever be a competitive choice yet Bungie seems fine with where pulses are in the sandbox rn (other than highground Bygones).
      Imo this is not a healthy developer mindset for pvp. Just look at the game rn cause that is what will inevitably happen when the easiest guns and long range options are also the best options, especially with sbmm and Bungie's lobby balancing in the mix, preventing (better) players from just using a silly loadout and having fun.

      @@mythe6669 fair points about the pulse buffs. The biggest one was definitely that buff to the frame itself. That was very noticeable when it happened.
      I’d love to see AE receive more improvements that encourage investing heavily in the stat. I’ve talked about that extensively in other videos I’ve made.
      Back to pulses though. I really do think a buff to smgs would change things. When people use more smgs, it challenges the ability of pulse rifle users to play so comfortably. And when pulses and smgs are both good options, hand cannons become a great middle ground to compete with both. Right now it feels like handcannons struggle against pulses and don’t get the one up on smgs because no one is using them. I think bungie knows this based on their comment about being content with the power of weapons like Elsie’s rifle. I’d expect buffs to other weapon types to level the playing field soon.

    They should have let DMT retain its novelty , instead of making 100 clones, DMT should be the only 120, I don't like any of the legendary ones

    I think the legitimately only good thing about the gun is the fact that it’s basically the only gun that can roll demolitionist and headstone, making it good for pve stasis builds. That’s it.

    Bungie should give away free godrolls of every Trials weapons. Banshee gave away some this week for the dungeons, it's time to do the same for Trials.

    Once prismatic and exotic class items dropped it became clear to me they aren’t that invested in the balance of their PvP. I remember after beyond light made pvp go crazy they nerfed abilities and PvP actually became someone playable and gun focused. Now we’re back to ability spam trash PvP. And it’s not fixable because that means removing prismatic entirely.

      @@kingcurmudgeon8685 I agree. If you want more of my thoughts on that I made a video a few weeks ago talking about ability spam plaguing PvP. I think prismatic has the potential to be balanced but certain combinations need to be nerfed for sure

    Yeah I don’t honestly care about any gun in the loot pool right now besides shayuras. Summoner was cool but it was around for a long time now. Besides that hard pass. Loot would help but doesn’t change the fact of how stale it is. Even on the best maps I just find it so boring now. Need some actual PvP content and PvP events or something. Casuals aren’t gonna hop off new games like BO6 to come play sandbox updates lol.

    A quick fix for population imo is making an adept weapon drop after 7 matches, with wins counting as more matches no matter the loss count always. Then move all trials themed cosmetics to the flawless chest and make new ones including weapon skins, armor, emblems etc. for only the flawless chest. Hard core players will continue to play for the cosmetics, and casuals will actually feel rewarded for playing the game even if they lose. Finally add a shiny cosmetic only varient of each adept that only has a chance to drop on wins post flawless for that extra incentive for the hardcore players

      @@Ethanshmeethan00 Interesting idea. But I think you need to require wins for adept rewards, and ideally they’d stay pretty much locked behind flawless. The passage of persistence was kind of the furthest they can take things in terms of giving lower skilled players adept loot. Otherwise you’ll have people throwing themselves off the map for loot which they’ve done in the past. The bigger issue is that people feel like they need the adept weapons in the first place. With the new mods that just came out, adept weapons offer very little advantage, if any at all, over their counterparts. And bungie already does a good job of providing lots of cosmetics from the flawless chest. That alone won’t incentivize high skill players to grind the gamemode as we can see currently

      @FraDestiny there are a lot of cosmetic rewards in the flawless chest yes, but I can't remember any new ones they've added besides shaders, most of which have been in the game for ages but never obtainable. I'm talking armor ornaments like the old days of crucible and new mementos etc. they have to actually create more and more each season not just one shader. As for the adepts, the only reason I go for flawless instead of just grinding is bc I get no engrams playing half the time and when a weapon does drop it has the worst roll imaginable or it's not even the gun I want. As you said, adepts lost their flair, so what does it matter if casuals get access to them? I can go play a gm for 15 min on a double loot weekend and get more adepts, and loot in general, than 2 hours in trials. Adepts shouldn't be the focus anymore for trials. Cosmetics should be. The time I last remember ppl enjoying trials was right when they did the trials revamp in lost, where there were a lot of casuals playing. Keep the casuals interested and the hardcore will have the cannon fodder needed to play. That's partially why I think losses should count towards an adept, but at the same time yeah ppl will just jump off the map. Maybe they could implement a system that detects that and institutes a 30 min crucible ban

      @@Ethanshmeethan00 Yeah that’s a fair point. Overall I see what you are getting at. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what bungie ends up doing with the trials rework next season. I personally think having adepts be something for the hardcore players to chase is a good thing. And having stuff like the passage of persistence to help casuals get their hands on some adept loot is good as well. Maybe in the future with the weapon tiering system, they could make going flawless massively expedite the weapon leveling process for adepts and then make them more widely available for all players. Then there would be a weapon incentive for going flawless.

    The solution is to lean on the hard core players at this point. Trying to cater to casuals and new gamers makes NO sense.

      @@MrPrice2U I understand why they do it. Those players are needed to keep the game healthy. I think the problem right now is that they aren’t committing to either side of the player base. Most of the changes they are making are boring, predictable, and safe. The reintroduction of master of arms was the perfect example of the lame approach they are taking to PvP balancing

    I went flawless 2 times this weekend solo with only 3 losses, idk why it was a good weekend for me. Dropped a 1.4 weekly and hit flawless #136 and gilded my flawless seal 4th time

    this video needs more attention, all the right things being addressed here, and bungie is seriously looking down the path of closing its doors forever. they have a chance to turn it around, but theyve accepted defeat as a company, and will squeeze every last drop out of the gullible people until they eventually die as a game developer.

    it's not going to get better. whatever the weapon tier system they have cooking is, you can bet that it's going to be 100% worse for players than what we have now. i wish you had some avenue to talk to bungie or people who have some kind of influence on the decision making process over there, i appreciate that you give concise and common sense criticism for this game

    I would love a video about the changes you would make to the weapons. For me aggressive pulse are a problem because they dominate in both ttk and range. I do play on console so that might be a bit different than pc. Btw this is how pvp without high ground which with the 1 times high ground still 2 taps in 0.6s ttk but has less range and above 7 resil requires all 6 headshots. Also part of the issue is their ammo economy. Their ammo meter system should be top priority because it requires the player to really think about their loadout when special is not as avaliable as now. I do also agree with you on the changes they are making and how it feels like they are always working in the future. Just reading the batch notes I could tell some changes will not effect the meta. The pvp strike team feels like an editing team that works on highlights about a video that is 1 year old. Who cares how good your highlights are? How about we work on problems right now. I also love your comment about the loot. Some how I am getting a shit ton of drops but not of them are the weapon I want the the tonic system does not work. It took me 2 days to figure that out. We are in the second act and they have not commented on the loot issue. I am definitely beginning to feel the indifference about this game. No meta changes no good loot in trials and focus system that completely misses the mark. I would also love a video about comp and your thoughts about it. The only mode where drops are limited to 3 per week. Like that is such a bad decision in a LOOTER SHOOTER. Sorry for the long rant but most of your comments really resonated with me and I would love a video about each of the topics! Because most other destiny content creators just gave up and won't even critique bungie anymore lol

      @@fnoffnof5943 I’m sure pulses are a bit more oppressive on console. On pc, everything is a bit faster paced so pulse rifles can often fall out of the meta simply cause they can’t keep up. But it feels like the nerfs to smgs and sidearms have made people a lot less willing to play aggressive. I might make a video at some point breaking down what Id like to see changed about the game.

    First game was on duos and we match terror and knitehawk. Immediately after we match a cheating duo spamming 30 tethers a round. Not joking. I grind and I get flawlesses in this environment but matchmaking and the maps/meta make it unbearable

    Meta is horrible. Loot is undesirable. Going to be honest, this week is bad but it's been horrible for WEEKS. People simply do not want to play Trials and in fairness, Destiny.

      If they’re actually regularly putting Multiplex in the map rotation that means they simply don’t care anymore. Multiplex is arguably worse than rusted lands if you hate scouts and pulses

      @@kingcurmudgeon8685 Multiplex has so much potential in the fact that it’s a very flat map, terrain wise, with good visibility. But they just had to make it enourmous. They couldn’t afford to create a map of the same quality as javelin-4

    Honestly it sounds like you need to get creative with your problem solving skills..
    I really hated the map this week for the first 4 matches, but then I made a build that excelled at doing things to control the play space. It was the easiest flawless i've had all year.
    Sometimes a map comes around that requires you to use a build and weapons that arent cookie cutter, I feel like people forget this. You are supposed to be challenged, you arent supposed to be able to take your generic hand cannon + shotty build into every map and win 9/10 games.
    While I agree that the loot was terrible and the incentive wasn't there to support a large player pool, saying the map was terrible and needed to be removed is a bit of a stretch. I actually enjoyed fighting for the flags at each location, it played out like a puzzle where you had to adapt strategies for each zone location. Do you flank ? Do you run straight into the zone for control, do you hang back to get a cheeky angle ? The amount of variety between rounds was fantastic. I really enjoyed the flow once I stopped trying to force a build into a playstyle that it wasn't designed for.
    You identified the problem but you didn't really try to just enjoy the change of pace. For me the only issue was the loot on offer. With a wider player pool and better loot the map would have performed much better.
    But hey, maybe I just have an L Take.

      @@theodorekalfagiannis7506 I had no issue going flawless. I just don’t think the map plays well. In fact, I think two of the zones you fight over are objectively bad. However, I think with a small change like increasing the time before the zones spawn would allow people more time to flank and improve the flow of the match as I said in the video. I’m glad you enjoyed the map though

    I came here for a rant about trials not for you to fuckin obliterate 120 scouts 😂. Listen man. I KNOW legendary 120 scouts have no room to breathe in pvp (or pve outside of select prophet rolls and timeworn) especially since 120 handcannons can 2 head 1 body now too. Like seriously why would anyone ever equip a 120 scout for any reason other than "I think they're cool" and this is coming from someone that loves the enhanced dual loader and enhanced Incandescent timeworn wayfarer (solar 120 scout) purely for the satisfaction of shoving 4 bullets in the gun at once which drastically cuts down on reload and I threw sweaty confetti on it too because I gotta celebrate every kill I get with this thing lol.

They need to keep adding new ones that have the same quality of timeworn wayfarers weapon model. Like I said in the video, that is the only respectable one. It also doesn’t deceive you into trying to hipfire it

They have a LOT of issues but honestly in my opinion the biggest issue is the tex balanced stock origin trait trying to gaslight you into thinking these things are good for hipfire. The shit that kills me the most is all they would have to do is make tex balanced stock A. A completely different thing that leans into what people expect from a cowboy themed weapon(like making it basically just hipfire grip with a little extra on top like most orgin traits are just normal perks with a little extra now adays) or B. Just take the perk out to be reworked and give every 120 scout the BxR frame trait. It literally has built in constant hipfire to the point that it didn't need freehand grip or hipfire grip. It's the most simple thing to fix then focus on making them more viable for endgame play in pvp and pve like instead of making them slower then arguably the worst frame of scout (150s outside of the exotics because Jade and Polaris dump all over legendary 150s), matching the ttk of 120 handcannons that already are significantly better than the scouts even though 90% of them get ignored because igneous gives you everything a sweatlord loves about a 140 in a 120 package, on top of genuinely giving them some of the worst stats and recoil in the game + no benefits for the 2 bullets per reload but all the downsides

    The gated comp because of their NF, and Luna trauma. Casuals complaining about the exclusivity for those that put in the work. It's so fucked up.

      @@MrPrice2U Those pinnacle weapons were so much better at motivating people to play comp than the current system. If I were them I’d create a comp specific exotic quest for Not forgotten. Bring that back with the ability to 3 tap at 180 rpm as an exotic
